Brian, a big vote for a Genesis vehicle. I own a 2019 G70 3.3t Prestige and absolutely love it. You mentioned that you thought the interior was very nice in a past video. They're great. Equus (pronounced Eh-Kwus) was the precursor to Genesis. It was Hyundai's first stab at a luxury line. They are great cars too, but rare to see. I believe that car was lowered; it's not a hydraulic system.
Brian, the Equis is a pretty nice Hyundai however it does look like it has air ride suspension issues possibly however it would be a fun car to clean up I think merry Christmas!
I agree with your assessment of buying a new car now-a-days %100. I had to take that plunge on Sept 18th. Ouch ! I am glad you passed on that truck w/ the rusty undercarriage. Merry Christmas Brian to you and your family !
I'm with you on the non turbos. According to review experts, they say turbos are iffy. I own 2 3.5 Honda's and doing just fine. There's quite a number of people buying older, well maintained vehicles around here and refusing to pay late model/new vehicle prices. Isn't it sad not to have a dream car you've always wanted, because now they build a lot of junk? So sad. I didn't see anything on the lot that got me interested this time. Maybe next time. Well, Brian, it's been a joyous year this year, and very much wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas. I have much to be thankful for. My hope is Sissy has a special present under the tree!
I'm a GM man. I really like the 4.3 Blazer and S10 combo. The 5.3 you can't go wrong. My new Silverado has a 6.2. I've never had any rerealibility issues with these platforms. Just throwing in my opinion. Maybe it helps. Merry Christmas. I really appreciate you 🙏.
The newer car walk arounds would be great content for the channel in terms of variety. You also don’t have to deal with the cars being as beat up as you do with these older ones so keeping an open mind will benefit you and your subscribers.
Merry Christmas Brian 🎄I really don’t want an EV because I like the ice better internal combustion engine. The electric ⚡️ just not a fan. I don’t mind any vehicle you add to the channel. I know you are more than capable of doing it justice and making as good as new. I always appreciate you videos thanks 👑
Equips , yes it s the luxury version of Hyundai. . Expensive when new and reliable reputation. But previous owners neglected it then you’re replacing all the problems that should’ve been maintained 👍
About your retirement… If you’re considering the Myrtle Beach area, I can for sure show you around and discuss the positives and negatives as much as you like Brian 😊
Stay away from the smaller 1.5 1.1 1.2 gdi turbos or most any with gdi injection. Unless buying for immediate flip. Audi - bmw diesel, definitely stay away. I still miss my 1996 caprice 5.7 V8. 😊
Anywhere in the southeast hot and humid summers. Like winter up northeast cold bone chilling. You ever venture to manheim action, that have high line day as well everyday car day. Subscribe to there reports to see what cars are bringing once going through the auction for all areas of the country. Thats what all major car dealers use when they take a trade in. Equus is the predcessor to the present Genesis Luxuary line made by Hyundai. Christmas Blessings !!!
I would never buy a 50,000 dollar car unless I had a buyer ready. Even then, it's a risk, and you don't want that kind of money tied up in case it sits for a while. You know this already, though.
Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Interesting stuff as always...👍🏻👌🏻

Feliz Navidad/Merry Christmas Brian/Brian and Brian🎄🎄🎄
These walkarounds are welcomed along with the prices

I’m with you Brian. I enjoy “old school” ICE cars with non CVT transmissions!!!
Any vehicle without a CVT is a good choice but there are plenty of the newer vehicles without them.

Merry Christmas! Glad you're okay and sorry for Bambi.
Come to GA!!!! Nevermind humidity sucks here also 😂
Merry Christmas 🎄 everyone
I'd vote for the Acura. Audi's can hide LOTS of problems and they are expensive to repair.

Brian, regarding BC 11. Would you apply it to rubber mats or WeatherTech mats?
In your own words. "Run Like Hell" for any 'E' vehicle, too many unknowns...
It must be nerve-racking, driving the Lamborghini Gallardo down Bambi Lane
Very stressful, yes! Merry Christmas!

No turbos!!
I would not buy a diesel because of the def system.it is a stupid idea and is expensive to replace or repair.then there is the cost of diesel.
N/A engines. I’m 65 I am not the target market for EV.
