I look forward to every Wednesday. You two feel like old friends, even though we have never met.
Thanks so much, lovely to hear
Lads I have said this before here and I will say it again now: you two punch miles above your weight in terms of the content you provide. I am delighted to be a Patreon of this channel and I would urge others here who regularly watch and enjoy this content, but who are not yet Patreons, to give it some thought. It feels good to contribute and the patches look sweet on your bomber jacket. As an old lecturer once told me, "If you want to see more of something in this world then get your wallet out."
Here's to the next ten years!
You have no idea what it means to read comments like this. Thank you so much!x
I’ve certainly revisited cask and the ‘traditional’ breweries thanks to you guys. Showing that craft doesn’t have to be new, it can be any age!
The recent Budvar Trilogy was excellent viewing.
Question for the Friday pod. Have you used those mini oak barrels yet?
We've got plans for them, OK?!
Jonny clearly needs to up his short pants game! 🤪
Or Brad needs to lengthen his.
@@TheCraftBeerChannel
@@TheCraftBeerChannel Brad dressed appropriately for the season!
Better than Brad in a lab coat with nothing under it as they briefly suggested.
For me its friday again, sooooo grilling vegan burgers, beer (kasteel tripel again 😅 i know) and the good lads from Craft Beer Channel 🍻 what it trip it was and still is. Lovely to be here with you guys. cheers everyone
Your 5 points series was my first introduction to you guys. Lockdown was the catalyst for my start in homebrewing and you've been there the whole way. Keep up the banging content.
But please for the love beer put your poster in the middle of the frame. 😂
Haha thanks for sticking with us despite the poster!
Loved it. So pleased to see the real ale hand pumped at home in the list. It totally changed my view of what’s possible at home and resulted in my building an English themed pub (in North Queensland, Aus) and brewing all grain real ale that is definitely equal to or better than many bottled commercial ales. The first real ale hand pumped beer that I produced resulted in the same astonished look that Jonny had, just awesome. All during covid lockdown. I bought genuine hand pumps, pub furniture, pub games, bar towels, mats, the works (what else was there to do in lockdown.!) It’s also the main reason I’m a patreon, a thank you - as well as the ongoing quality posts… keep up the great work..
Can't believe we helped bring cask to Australia! Amazing, and thanks for the Patreon support!
top 10 homer momentsd
Yo facts man. You seem chill
Youre so right man
Hell yeah man
Honestly couldn’t have said it better, puts it into perspective! Thank you kind stranger for brightening my day - I’ve been struggling recently with depression as my transgender son has been in and out of the rehab centers in town & my lesbian boyfriend left me. Just wanted to let you know you brought a little brightness to an otherwise dull day!
That’s crazy, I thought the same things
The cask ale docuseries was brilliant and made me find cask in Toronto, the Porter video was inspirational and made me seek out that beer when I was in London last summer. But that said... Pickled Onion Monster Munch and Orval didn't make the top 10!?!?!?
Haha as a concept, it's iconic... as a video it was chaotic.
More timeline videos!! I’d like a yeast one with Whitelabs or Omega yeast or even new guys like Bootleg Biology. Maybe interview Dr. Chris White.
I loved when you visited my neck of the woods over here in Pennsylvania and visited Forest and Main, Troegs, and New Trail. That was very cool! Good luck with the beerfest!
The Sirens hop documentary was fantastic! Immediately after I saw it, I was hoping the 4 beers would make it to Hong Kong. Fortunately, I was able to find Centennial and Cascade a bit later in Hong Kong.
thank you for your insights to your videos and also the introduction to the videos i haven´t really known by now.
My favorite video from your channel, maybe a bit biased as i lived in the country for several years, is the recent Budvar (CZ) video series 😃😎✌
Awesome videos guys. I have been with you since a few years in and will continue to watch your content when released. If you ever come to Australia hit me up and I will show you around to some of the best breweries we have here (live in Brisbane but have family and regularly visit Adelaide and Melbourne) and introduce you to some amazing local brewers!
Favorite series: couch sessions and hype train favorite doc: New England but with many others a close 2nd
I’ve watched a lot of different beer channels and they will cover elements of what you cover. You guys do the “whole enchilada” bravo and keep up the good work
The cask ale series is amazing and my favorite out of many favorites! The feature length docs are so well done and provide great details, info, and fun.
It's great you 2 are still together and having a great time. You've lasted longer than most marriages!
on the topic of festivals in norway there is a traditional norwegian farmhouse beer festival in Hornindal in october every year called norsk kornølfestivalen that i believe people interested in historical beer should look at
The hour interview with Vinnie is one of the most influential things for me when it comes to homebrewing and wanting to break into brewing professionally.
Loving Brad's 'John Snow' outfit in the Arctic Circle 😂
Homebrewing cask ale was the buffet that got me hooked. Been a fan every since!
Wonderful trip down memory lane chaps. Cheers to many, many more years.
Glad to see you took on the positive feedback generated by Brad's shorts 😂
All these videos were great. I think the hops one was the most memorable and ambitious.
What fun it is going back over some of the original videos. eep the ideas coming 😀
My favorite channel on UA-cam. Keep up the good work!
Best Craft beer channel cheers from Mar del plata Argentina
Great channel you have. Loved all the Cask ale coverage you done.
I absolutely loved Now IPA. I bought the multipack of cans to watch the documentary. Properly bitter English IPA. A taste almost forgotten in the tide of American IPAs and NEIPAs, as great as they are too. Difficult to pick a favourite video but I loved the series on cask and especially Hook Norton and Adnams. Both excellent breweries.
Cheers Ian! You'll be delighted to know batch two of NOW IPA is being released soon!
The lock down cask episode is definitely one of my favourites. Such a moment of joy in a shit period of time, and sowed the seed for the Keep Cask Alive project. ❤
Indeed! And our homebrewing exploits! A huge CBC moment, at one of it's darkest times.
Have loved every moment of our projects/discussions/friendship. Well done the 2 of you (and back room team??!!??) always amazing content…so much effort has gone in over the 10 years, so clear to see. Xxx
Thanks so much! No backroom team, just a mess of empty bottles!
Your keep cask alive video series has been one of my favourite videos of yours. Especially, the visit to Hook Norton Brewery that was just brilliant.
Congratulations to you both on reaching 10 years! I will raise a glass at the Neon Raptor TTO I'm attending tonight.
Cheers Neil! Hope you had fun at Neon Raptor!
Your Anspach & Hobday video influenced me to make a stop at their Arch House location while in London on holiday back in October of 2022 to try their London Black as well as their other beers on tap. I was also surprised to find that they had done a collaboration beer with DC Brau, a brewery near where I'm from. Great video, congratulations on 10 years!
That DC Brau collab was sensational!
By coincidence, I was thinking about the darkest days of lockdown just last night, as you do before nodding off. How utterly unbelievably surreal it all seems now, just three years later. At a time when my wife and I had to do video calls to our daughter and my elderly mother, your channel had exactly the effect Brad mentioned. And my first taste of cask in about a year was sublime! Good job I had homebrew to see me through! I look forward to every video guys. You feel like my mates but have no idea who I am. Fabulous content. Long may it continue.
Cheers Ian! Glad to have been a little light in the dark!
Cant believe its been that long, I've ended up traveling to a few of the places after seeing your videos and having great experiences with family & friends (thanks for that!). I was a home brewer before I saw your videos but they have inspired me to use more local ingredients.
Keep up the good work, maybe you can take on a few apprentice workers one day lol to do the camera, sound etc, so you guys can focus on the other side.
Amazing to hear, thanks for watching!
Much as I liked the NE IPA documentary, Keeping Cask Alive has to be one of my favorite series you've done. Keep up the good work, gents. Cheers!
Cheers Jim!
Love the projector sound on the ancient clip.😆
Weirdly, my most seen video is your hangover cure chorizo traybake recipe from the late jurassic period, since MrsRougelot is very fond of it.
I still make it all the time too. Add some crusty bread, maybe a little mayo for dipping, nothing beats it on a tired day.
Loving Brad's shorts - great work lads
Happy anniversary! Keep up making great videos. I'm always happy to discover a new upload. Greetings from southwest Germany. "Gut Sud!" (Have a good brew!)
Great run down memory lane. BTW what sweet digital watches are you both wearing? Casio fanboi wants to know! :)
I'm rocking the A158WA-1DF will have to check with Brad!
I learned more about brewing Imperial ales and Westies from your Omnipollo and RR collabs than I would have brewing 10 batches of each. Cheers to that :)
Looking for a New England is my favorite. It inspired me to travel to New England with my wife and 1,5 year old and roadtrip around to visit almost all the breweries. Fantastic times! And I still watch the doc from time to time and reminisce. Love your work ❤ Hoping for 10 more years! 🍻
What a lovely trip down memory lane! Boy you guys have a lot to be proud of! Can't wait to celebrate with you both in September 🎉🍻
Came for the memories, stayed for the shorts!
Well people keep telling us UA-cam Shorts are where it's at.
@@TheCraftBeerChannel🩳
Seriously think I'm gonna cry. 🥹
Us too, but that's just how old we look now
Dem shorts wow. You've got balls! Love the content ❤😅
He does! You can almost see them!
Your trip to Omnipollo was brilliant and on my top 3, along with the New England journey. Meeting passionate people never gets old.
One of my other favourites is cooking with beer, especially the Imperial Stout & Biscoff Brownies video. I've used that recepie alot since then (just replaced the biscuits with walnuts because I can't get the biscuits in Denmark).
But did you forget your live sessions? Verdant stands out to me, but there have been alot very interesting (and somewhat silly at the end) shows.
And let me finish with a "I respectfully disagree": Youtubing can certainly be documentary - you've proven that on many occations.
Love & beer!
Cheers Michael!
This channel's unique - home brew, history, enjoyment - wonderful stuff. Your documentaries are things that nobody else is doing, so they're golden for learning about beer when we wouldn't necessarily have the time ourselves. They're very much appreciated, especially the time you invest in producing amazing videos. Good luck for the next 10 years and beyond!
Thanks so much Jeremy!
You had me at "an awesome, beer-fueled nostalgiafest"
Fantastic look back on some amazing content you've created! Another favourite of mine was little earth project, I say that as it's local to me (Bury St Edmunds) and I'm camping there again this weekend. Also like to take a moment for Anchor, who it seems are closing their doors.
Cheers Liam - lots of Anchor sadness on the podcast this week.
It really doesn't feel that long ago that I first started watching your videos, but I've just looked it up and it would have been around April 2014 when Jonny appeared on a podcast I used to listen to. I've watched every video since then so definitely looking forward to coming to the festival in September!
Good lord! An OG viewer! We've all come a long way since then
Here's for 10 more years 🍻
Congrats on the 10 year anniversary guys. Cheers! 🍻
Massive congratulations guys. I can't think of anyone else making beer content with the same degree of ambition and passion.
Thanks so much!
Amen. Hell yes.
Craft beer! 🍺
Right On🤟🏻
You're storytellers!
Subaru Outback...
Are these the only clothes you wear now?
Yep - we need more Patreons so we can buy more clothes.

What the f@#k is Brad wearing 😳
Not a lot tbh
