The deep state has a much longer roster of people waiting to jump into the positions that would open, than the roster is for quality candidates wiling & capable of running a wining campaign. Further there is generally much more readily available funding for a partisan "yes man" than there is a grass roots quality type candidate. Term limits would likely hurt the situation!

Term limits for Congressional office holders will never happen, because it requires either the Congress itself to start the required process for a Constitutional amendment, or a Convention of the States as advocated by Mark Levin. A majority of representatives and senators will never vote to limit their own terms, and there is not enough support in the states to hold a Convention of the States as provided in the US Constitution. Love to see it. Won't happen.
There is 3 million people in the executive branch of government alone. They are not elected officials, but have more influence in your day to day life than you are willing to admit. Separate agencies from both the house and the senate. This is where a huge part of the graft and corruption within the government comes from. If you are not directly connected to a representative or senator, this is where you work, for a whole lifetime if you choose. Set up a nonprofit or charity run by a spouse or family member, use the insider information that is available to you in your position and you’re set for generations to come. That's why it would have to be a States Constitutional Convention whereby each state votes on the proposed changes and after accomplishing a majority presenting it to Congress fait accomply as an amendment.
