    Hillsdale College is an independent institution of higher learning founded in 1844 by men and women “grateful to God for the inestimable blessings” resulting from civil and religious liberty and “believing that the diffusion of learning is essential to the perpetuity of these blessings.” It pursues the stated object of the founders: “to furnish all persons who wish, irrespective of nation, color, or sex, a literary, scientific, [and] theological education” outstanding among American colleges “and to combine with this such moral and social instruction as will best develop the minds and improve the hearts of its pupils.” As a nonsectarian Christian institution, Hillsdale College maintains “by precept and example” the immemorial teachings and practices of the Christian faith.
    The College also considers itself a trustee of our Western philosophical and theological inheritance tracing to Athens and Jerusalem, a heritage finding its clearest expression in the American experiment of self-government under law.
    By training the young in the liberal arts, Hillsdale College prepares students to become leaders worthy of that legacy. By encouraging the scholarship of its faculty, it contributes to the preservation of that legacy for future generations. By publicly defending that legacy, it enlists the aid of other friends of free civilization and thus secures the conditions of its own survival and independence.

      Why won't the US be the same? Because brown folk are crossing the line for Freedom? Your hero Trump shot down the new border bill.

      America will be for the worse as the middle class will be decimated due to the financial burden of caring for these immigrants.

    In Texas was stopped by LE for driving above speed limit in rural area, no cars, no traffic. Po po said to me while giving citation " we are trying to keep you safe". I said "Funny I don't feel safe with open borders and criminals running loose!"

      Ignorant comment, steeped in violence. The 2@ allowed 7k gun shops to proliferate along the 2000 mile Border, causing peaceful Mexicans to escape Northward from gangs.

      Right. They are already changing the language to reflect our dispossessed status. "Newcomer" we are to call them.
      We are no longer citizens or illegals anymore. But residents.

      It means, that life in America will no longer be the same.
      Life as we once knew it has been changed for the worst, because when you import the 3rd world countries, you eventually become a 3rd world country.
      If you think that things are bad now, you better buckle up and hang on tight, because it will get a whole lot worse.

    Est-ce pour cet objectif que tant de pays ont été maintenus dans la misère, comme une réserve à alimenter cette invasion ?

  • @shellbell6955

    Why? Why does the Biden administration just not care that this is happening? I just don’t understand the reasoning behind all of this?

  • @shaunscrivner6838
    @shaunscrivner6838 Місяць тому +1

    I love how this guy just brushes by the immigrants’ first responses of “I need a job” and “safety” if those aren’t important or even real reasons. Dude, THAT’S why they are coming. THAT’S the reason. They wouldn’t leave their home and families if they didn’t need a job and felt safe in their country. Yes, Biden’s policies (and the policies of prior presidencies) are making it worse. But you cannot talk about this stuff and just brush aside the root causes of the problem. Yes, we need to have better border enforcement policies, but we also need to work with other nations to prevent the kind of instability that makes them want to leave. Do you talk about that as well, or is this just a partisan circle jerk? Side note: don’t apologize for being a journalist. We NEED honest journalists to know what’s going on in the world, and you are just further eroding trust in news sources generally, which is making everything worse. You have nothing to apologize for, unless you were a dishonest journalist. So is this a confession?

      Don't let yourself be fooled. Illegal immigration is complex, but most of these people are not here for just a job or feeling unsafe in their home country. I need a job, that is not even asylum-eligible cause. People have fled wars etc. and moved to safe places such as Brazil, for instance, among other nations. Now all of a sudden they think they need to come to America. Need to ask yourself why. They have lived and thrived there for a decade or more. But let's be honest they can make more here in free assistance and not have to work. Don't think that they stimulate the economy either because they send that money back to their home country tax-free. When you are fleeing a place afraid for your life and the life of your family, would you come alone or bring your family? Who are they sending the money to? If It's so dangerous why would you leave loved ones there? If you are afraid for your life would you flee to the very next safe place? I know I would. Some of these people are travelling through ten other countries before they reach the United States. We tend to believe that only in America can you have a good life. That's just not true. They could stay in Brazil or even in Panama or Mexico and have a very good life and live very well. No one talks about the horrors that are happening to these people along their journey. Where are these unaccompanied minors? What's happening to them? I don't want to live in a nation that thinks that's alright just to get cheap labor and votes. But alas, where could I flee?

    • @djbuschman1889
      @djbuschman1889 Місяць тому +7

      As far as I’m concerned, this has nothing to do with prejudice. I think our country is past that point. Are there some people in our country that are prejudice? Yes, of course, there are. However, not on the scale of those who are ignorant or naïve, and those on the left want you to believe; do not be a useful idiot.
      I believe that your average law abiding, taxpaying, American citizen, believes in the rule of law, and wants the situation under control. Additionally, I also believe that that type of American believes in a legal and just system.
      Those who wanna come to our country they should prove that they can be self-sufficient, and not rely on government services, who are here for Noble and reasonable circumstances, and will not be a burden on our society system. Immigrated to our country is not a right it is a privilege and should be respected as such.
      Your remark, buys into this propaganda: they have you on their strings and you are their puppet.
