Why Villages Are Overpowered
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 бер 2022
- The Village is the the most necessary tower in the game, as it provides extra attack speed, camo detection, price reductions and more. You should use a village or 2 in just about every run because the buffs it gives for such a low price are unreal. The top path provides extra attack speed and amazing buffs for primary monkeys, the middle path lets monkeys hit more and more types of bloons, and the bottom path can save you tons of money and turns into the best farming tower in the game.

The Monkeyopolis tip near the end was the best tip in the video (just a heads up if you didn't want to watch the whole thing).
I have used a village or 2 in just about every single game (outside of primary, military, and magic monkeys only). If that doesn't show how good they are, idk what will
It feels like it's either an oversight or a bug, so NK will probably fix it soon.
Hey h bomb can u do a video on the best buckshot strategy (bottom path dartling) I really want to know so I can us it more
The two monkeyoplises are basically entangled lol
Villages are bad in BTD6 compared with BTD5... except for the tier 5s obviously.

I mean, it’s where we live. Villages are towns, towns are neighborhoods, neighborhoods become cities. Unless you live on Monkey Meadows with the Monkey Farmers. It’s weird how the 2012 machine is also useful. Villages are top tier in real life and BTD6.
And tack shooters are tack shooters, they shoot tacks.

1:37 You forgot that it also give free tier 2! Its very good on the 0-2-0 glue ganner since its pretty expensive
I always purchase the 25k tower to save 1.5k! It's such a wonderful investment :)
And I get a free mega balista attack on the side!
It's not very good on the x-2-x glue gunner because you won't spam them. But the free tier 2 is better on moab maulers since you will use many of them so more money will be saved. But still the free tier 2 is not that good you buy the primary expertise for the ballista and primary buff not the free tier 2. A more efficient way to save money is to buy the bottom path.

The village is one of the towers that every path and every upgrade are great. The only issue with the village is that the base tower is not that great, and I just see that as investment cost in the tower.
1, even if you aren’t using bottom path tack a 300 village is always just worth it because you are going to have 200 anyways, and 300 will buff almost all your defense for very, very cheap. If you have any primary cool downs then you should get a 400. And 500 is just plain strong all on its own without it budding other towers.
2, buffs everything no matter what. 020 is the most reliable camo defense in the game. Don’t have to spend extra money on camo upgrades, don’t have to rely on certain monkeys attack speed or missing. 030 is crazy strong for how cheap it is, completely invalidates DDTs. 040/050 are some of the strongest buffs in the game for towers.
3, money and greed makes this game easy. Just getting a single 002 village saves you a game changing amount of money. 003/004 are incredible at making money. If there isn’t space or if you just want to be lazy, a 003 is a really great way to increase your income, and 004 is almost necessary for late game farming with anything. And 005 is just the strongest single farm in the game.
I 100% agree. Everything about it is good but the base tower
Well, the base tower has been poor ever since they moved the upgrade cost discount from base to a separate upgrade.
@Hbomb I mean it dooes give some range (still useless tho)

Huh, I did miss that. I kind of mentioned it when talking about only needing to pay for the base monkey and tier 3 of mauler spamming, but I should've called it out more.
The monkey village is basically an upgrade for every monkey in its range
the fact that my village has the most exp just proves that it is one of my favourite towers (and yes it has more exp than banana farm tho only by a bit)
Daaang. This dude villages
I love your short videos, but it’s nice to hear a longer in depth on what each upgrade actually does.
Incredibly useful video for me. I didn’t know that Homeland Defense has global range for the ability, and the bug seems super useful. Got to try it before they fix it.
I'm glad it helped
I think the bug got fixed…
its important to note that the tack shooter double-dips in primary village upgrades, as the projectile speed also increases the total range since the projectiles work on lifespan.
Good job bro thank you sooo much i needed that video long time ago and here you are 💙🔥
for the shower thoughts segment. an ac130 gunship can go up to 28,00 ft, the b-52 can go up to 50,000 ft, and the b2 spirit can also go up to 50,000 (may or may not be accurate because i took these from wikipedia) while a blimp can go below 20,000 and upto 60,000 ft. if the moab class bloons were flying at 20,000 and the aces are flying at the max they cant crash into a moab class bloon.
In the recent update, 520 inferno meteor has 2 pierce with 700 damage on each hit, where 502 cross path has 1000 damage for 1 pierce.
I looked at the wiki, wtf! This tower has never been given a nerf but only changes to how it works.
I really like this kind of content. It helps with breaking down towers for use so that we know what is best. Please keep going!
Thanks, will do!
Nice editing. I agree towers are op. I have a hard time picking which two paths to use myself.
While not the cheaps camo detection (especially in battles 2), its buffs and paths is useful for almost any strat in btd6 and critical in many primary monkey heavy strats
Love These types of vids!
I love all the small zooms and the stats gliding in from the left
Ballista is like that glaive ricochet upgrade the glaive lord should have. Swoops super cerams and has just enough damage to one-shot moabs before ramping. It can solo to quite high rounds, even over 80, though it might not always connect and change direction correctly leaving the projectile wasted.
Worse of all is that it eats alchemists buffs
This longer video format is nice!
Glad you like it!
It’s nice to see such a detailed explanation for the village paths, since the upgrade descriptions aren’t usually very specific

Could you do cross path guides on these following monkeys at some point? (Just my own curiosities)
boomerang xx4/xx5
sub 4xx/5xx
buccaneer x4x/x5x xx4/xx5
ace x3x/x4x/x5x
mortar x4x/x5x xx4/xx5
super monkey crosspaths in general since theyve changed the balancing of their paths since the last video you made covering them
ninja x5x
druid 5xx x4x/x5x
use cases for each path of banana farms/cross paths (any tips you have for this specifically are in your compilation videos so having them in their own unique video would help people like myself find them easier)
spike factory 5xx
engineer x3x (which helps more for foam? 031 or 230, can also bring x4x/x5x into same vid)
Also having more videos like this one for each monkey would be nice to see.
Love how detailed and succinct your content is and look forward to seeing what other tips you continue to provide in your coming videos!
3:05, "the tier 4 is called arms"
2:44 this upgrade also allows monkeys that cant attack moabs such as some glue gunners and some ice monkeys to actually attack moabs.. even tho its useless because most of them will do 1 damage
A 0-3-0 monkey village makes EVERYTHING good
It's not a cheap strat, but something that's pretty fun is P-Brewing a P-Expertise. Since it's got an attack, unlike all other village paths it can recieve the alch-buff, for EVEN MORE RANGE and thus EVEN MORE free MOAB Maulers! You can also increase it further with another village for, yep, more MOAB Maulers!
the fireball is like the hydra rocket pod glitch in btd battles & btd5
that bug in the end... thank you
If you are just going ahead and using the village for camo detection, there is a better strat. you can put shimmer wizard monkeys(0-0-3) at the start of the track, and that perma strips camo for less money than getting a village that has a limited range. also, you can start slow with only 1, but late game you need 3 to prevent bleeding. this is especially necessary on hard gamemodes like chimps and most importantly, BTD battles 1 and 2. and yes, it can strip DDT camo too
doesn't mention the 3xx sub at all
That 0-0-5 is genius, i'm definitely abusing this
good tips near the end

You forgot that Primary Expertise also makes all tier 2 primary upgrades free, instead of just the tier 1s
Shower thoughts How can the heli pilot hit the bloons and a spike factory too is the bloons very long or what

Wow! I didn't know Monkey City worked on Benjamin! Thanks for letting me know.
No problem. It is the end of round income that it affects
Honestly i just used the top path cause i didnt know how to use the bottom but now i will use all of them
Yeah, the bottom path is even useful in CHIMPS for that discount
Bottom is good for Deflation (you buy a 0-0-2 Village, purchase some upgrades and then sell the Village to put something else in return) and CHIMPS (since the discount upgrade is the only money bonus in that mode).
There's also the fact that a single 0-0-2 Village discounts more Sun Avatar money cost than what the 0-0-2 Village added.
Monkeyopolis tip: a 2 420 farm opolis is the best for round 40 - 60, a 7 420 farm opolis is the best for round 60 - 80 and after round 80 just get a 14+ 420 farm opolis
watching this video after the the patch that killed monkeyopolis is really sad

New update has added GLOBAL range to CTA (call to arms)and it can stack with homeland(before it could not stack)
Shower Thoughts: How does MIB allow normal monkeys to pop Lead bloons? Is there a weak spot that the monkeys aren't able to detect? Or are the projectiles in range specially engineered to handle Leads?

In that ending comment, blimps were created in WWI because they could get to higher altitudes than planes, and they were hard to shoot down. At least until the creation of incendiary ammo.
They weren't hard to shoot down, there's a reason they never really were vital to any battle, they were just the only thing big enough to even try to act as a bomber
@@calebbarnhouse496 it was in the very beginning. Punching a few holes wasn’t doing much, and it flew too high for most planes. They just quickly figured out how to take care of them. That’s how I understood it anyway, so I apologize for misinformation.
@@TuShan18 they really never had any major impact, they were used, but they didn't accomplish much, and that's why they were phased out, advances in technology made them even more useless, but they never accomplished anything, airpower in ww1 just wasn't advanced enough to win the day, if bombs were more advanced then even coming over a city for a few hours would be enough to devastate it, but as is the zeppelins were to slow to actually get in postion without a lot of support, and they didn't have the durability to last long under fire, what they had was damage potential, but it took to long to bring to bear, and was to expensive to keep doing in hopes it would eventually work
@@calebbarnhouse496 thanks. I’m more of a ground warfare person, I just remember seeing a few things from the Great War channel a few years ago.
@@TuShan18 like don't get me wrong, zeppelins COULD destroy a city if they could unleash there full payload, but unless your crew was suicidal they can't do so because they will retreat it, and would still be difficult to actually pull off, the main thing with them was the hope they could, and the moral impact they could have, because they were an amazing sight to see fighting

Fun fact: You can buff a village's range with another village.
