You forgot the strat of going "I haven’t used this tower in a while." And using that tower.
Lol. That's the best one
and then you remember why you don't usually use that tower. Top path druid I'm looking at you.

My favorite wierd strat is boosting Cryo Cannons with Absolute Zero and then using Total Transformation. When the ability is off cooldown, the ice monkies stall.
I wanna try this now!
thats actually pretty genius
yep. Total transformation not only works with Druids, but also with Ninjas, Snipers, and Ices. They're not as difficult to pull off but definitely not as powerful.
that's actually a really goofy strategy but sounds good
The striker jones strat is tedious and needs so many more ability uses than other strats, which is why I personally have an extreme distaste for it
I'm in the same boat friend. I only whip that one out if I'm desperate

Interesting strats I've seen/used:
Spectre spam
Aircraft Carrier spam
Moab Press spam
Bloon Trap farming (+ tornado druid to blow bloons into it)
Any farming with Obyn
Blooncineration on maps where Blooncineration is OP (like moon landing or balance)
Using Spirit of the Forest on those same maps
And the best strat I've ever seen: Using two cash drops for a round 6 sticky bomb
A weird strat is double Tack and Sub with Pat near water, which can be devastating on the right map. First, you place Pat in water close enough to a bend that the Tacks will be affected by his rage. After Pat, you should get a Sub which will become a Bloontonium Reactor, which reduces the ability cooldown of Pat’s rage. Then you get an Overdrive in the bend as usual, but then you save up for a Super Maelstrom, which you always position directly below the track so that the blades from the ability can hit the maximum number of targets. Make sure you get a Primary Mentoring village to reduce the Super Maelstrom cooldown. This setup should easily carry into the late 80s if done correctly, at which point you can afford the Tack Zone to close things out, along with a MIB so it can hit DDTs (Maelstrom Pat can destroy half of 95, but gets run over in the other half). If you start struggling at any point, you should have more than enough extra money to afford a Stronger Stimulant, Embrittlement, MOAB Glue, Maim MOAB, Spike Balls, Glue Strike, or other cheap and effective support tower while saving for your towers. This one caviat for this strat is that not too many maps have a bend right next to water, which means it isn’t too usable for many of the harder maps of the game, but on maps when it happens, this is my go-to (maps like Cargo, Pat’s Pond, Peninsula, Another Brick, High Finance, Off The Coast, half of the Intermediate maps, and most of the Easy maps. Maybe even Flooded Valley and #Ouch, if you play them right)
A few "good" strategies that aren't mentioned in the video:
Permacharge Gerry's Fire. An S tier strat involving a special feature that increases the burst potential of the tower greatly while still having an extremely strong base attack. (very standard)
Subcom Ballistics. The stronger alternative to AP darts, the strategy cleans up ceramics and has more burst damage in a small range rather than requiring intel everywhere. (pretty standard)
Brickstroyers. Forget subs, we're filling a pool of water with Destroyers. Brickell's recent buff that let her give a passive pierce buff allowed Destroyers to become a slightly weaker alternative to Ballistic missiles. Permabrew optional. (moderate)
BEZ. A single tower that can solo nearly every round in the game with a MIB, Stim, and Overclock. Often paired with a DPS hero like Churchill Psi or Adora to give simply more damage. (moderate)
Master Bomber. The younger cousin of the very common ninja and druid spam strategies made its debut after getting splash damage on its stickys. Infinite range makes this actually stronger than Druids on an open map. (moderate)
Trash Spam. The most common strategy for Quad, involves basically no tier 5 towers and simple a lot of high strength tier 3s and 4s such as MOAB presses, Overdrives, Spiked Balls, and a lot of alchemists as well as many more towers. (pretty weird)
EnerPsiger, or similar strategies. Energizer Boosts hero levels and lowers cooldowns, perfect to use for the slower leveling heroes Adora, Churchill, and Psi for those powerful later levels. Can also be used with Brickell since Energizer cuts water tower cooldowns more. (pretty weird)
Mortar. Probably the most unpopular tower, requires a bit of micro to play but is very strong. The Biggest one is not a good strategy but using Striker with either Pop and Awe or Blooncineration both do surprisingly well. Eliminator often added. (very weird)
And finally, XXXL. Gaining trap targeting on 015 crosspath and also allowing for replacement at any time makes this tower very strong despite normally being an income tower. Pair with slowdowns and stuns to catch the fast DDTs. (very weird)
Gerry pcharge is busted. And then you forgot ezili strats
@@tacotown4598 wait what makes gerrys fire and permacharge boomer a broken strat?
@@joostine3720 makes permacharge more viable without the ability and insane with the ability
The BEZ is BUSTED for maps like Adora's temple or X Factor, more people need to learn of its greatness.
@@joostine3720 Gerry’s fire shoots the boomer ability glaivrs when the ability is active, and rejuv potion can reset the cooldown allowing for more ability usage
As someone who uses sub strats all the time, I have come to completely ignore the presence of the random dart and ninja monkeys all around the map.
Actually the Really Big Bomb spam is for 3-0-2, which involves the much bigger damage fragments, similarly to 2-0-3 Cluster spam

The battles 2 tourney was awesome I’d love to see more like it (thank you hbomb and thank you nord)
I do the Apache Prime strat, but go 205 Heli instead so it’s rly a ComCom strat. I like comcom more than prime since its cheaper and doesn’t sacrifice that much damage, that and the tier 4 is cheaper so you don’t have to worry as much getting to the tier 5
comcom gang rise🚁🎯🎈🐒
I do that too. Yeah, it's weaker. But it's SOO much cheaper that it gives you so much more room to buy other things to back it up.
Comanche Commander and Special Poperations COMBINED cost abut the same as Apache Prime, and ComCom is also best buddies with Prince of Darkness and Perma-Spike.
Of course this falls down on multiple-lanes-at-once tracks.
Comcom is really pretty good for its price, everyone jokes about it being terrible because it requires support but like... name one tower under 50k that can solo the entire game without support. I'm waiting. (don't say Sauda)
@Elite bloonarius the Inflator ...I hadn't considered that. Yeah, Sauda's 1tc buys a ton of levels, doesn't it?
I figured Geraldo would go past 50k from buying his stuff, but completely forgot about power leveling asgfnbjvcjkbjfd
I start with a true sun god on round 6, because that round its extremely difficult. And then I save up for a 0-0-0 dart monkey to defeat round 1.

Spiked balls e so satisfying when they actually bounce of obstacles.
U-jug saved my run on cornfield chimps without removing corn. Ever since then I've had a new appreciation for this tower
An even better tackzone/hero synergy is with the upgraded sharpening stone and pickles from Geraldo's shop
Yeah, that is really good too

Impale and superglue + overclocked BMA is a strategy I messed around with since launch and I think its pretty fun. The impale and superglue stall the MOAB class bloons like crazy to give the BMA more time to red bloon potion them for easy pops. Only thing the strategy lacks is BAD damage, so on CHIMPS runs where I cant farm Id do impale + master bomber instead.
Im digging the longer form videos Hbomb
i think that my favorite strategy might be considered a weird one. but its really dang good imo. there's 3 main components to this: pick one of these towers as your main dps depending on available positioning - top path dartling, bottom path engineer, or your choice of primary dps (i usually got with bottom path tack shooter and mid path bomb); cheap and cost effective towers that only occasionally require getting 1 tier 5; stall, buff, and cluster abuse. So you start with your choice of hero (i use sauda for easiest dps to save up money) and your main dps, and if needed, an x3x druid for early game assistance. farm a bit when you can to get more income. interchange upgrading your main dps and getting these following towers in *roughly* this order: alch buff and/or village buff for main dps, top path village, 420 ice monkey, 024 (or 204) boomerang (optionally 2 of them), 402 (or 420) sniper, xx4 glue, x4x ice monkey, 032 alchemist (
I love this video. I'm a weird person apparently. I combine weird stuff. I usually have 2 max ice monkeys and recently I used total transformation with them.
Absolute Zero, Super Brittle, and Total Transformation is super fun. Also love using Adora.
Neva-miss spam with alch buffs and either Etienne or villages. They do an absurd amount of damage with a ton of pierce and I usually add 2-3 Dart Storms. Works weirdly well even on multi track maps
My personal favorite strat that I use for most CHIMPS maps is "Sauda and the Wizards Three". Exactly as it sounds, you drop Sauda, then build up all three T5 Wizards. I go for 502, 052, and 025, but 205 works as well. Build your T2s however you want, I usually do a WoF first, then go from there. For T3, I do middle->top->bottom, then reverse that for T4. T5 is cheapest first, since I usually don't need a Phoenix until the late 80's to mid 90's, depending on the map.
It works best on maps with loops or at the very least an intersection between paths, so I wouldn't recommend it for Infernal or #Ouch. Abilities aren't usually needed until the very late rounds, and I get 4 040 Bomb Shooters for round 100. Fire those off with a Magma Phoenix and use Sauda abilities whenever they come up, and I usually have no issues.
Weird Stat: Plasma Accelerator. I mean it is a weird tower that can solo pretty much anything in the mid game and spamming them can even take down bosses.
During the last collection event, I found a double Ace strat with Geraldo. Using the Never Miss to kill Bloons and Dart Storm for its Moab Missle to take down Moab. Usually, I’d sell the NFT for an early specter; but if you can hold on to it by really using Geraldo’s shop to the fullest, you naturally get enough money for Specter by the time the NFT is worth the same amount as Sky Shredder. Then just an Alc and a Village and coast through round 100.
This strategy is made possible by Shooty turrets and the spicy pepper
The "WHY IS THERE FIRE EVERYWHERE STRATEGY" works pretty well against early- mid game moabs. it is gwendolin, a lot of ?-3-? wizards, and an 4-0-2 tack shooter
One I like outside CHIMPS mode is Elite Sniper + Supply Drop spam. Their insane group damage is such that if you have enough of them to kill one of something, you can trust them to kill huge groups of it. Of course the big thing going for it is having this loop of hitting the ability for money and investing that into more Snipers.
Generally there are only three obstacles that they'll need help with:
1) Starting out to begin with, something to save up to Bouncing Bullet.
2) Dealing with the Round 40 MOAB.
3) Dealing with the Round100 BAD.
And it's pretty easy to answer those.
My personal favorite setup is mass 1-3-0 druids with 1-2 dedicated moab killers (top path ace or bottom path sniper are my usually go tos, with a 2-0-4/5 glue gunner for consistency). Non-moab balloons just don't spawn, and anytime you crack open a moab you get to watch the ceramics get dragged into the earth the instant they spawn in
Grandmaster, Druid of Wrath and Apache Prime are popular and effective. But less people knew about the Psi+Sniper strat which I used to beat Bloody Puddles this is the most easiest micro since the Snipers trifecta have everything to keep you alive, CC from 420/520, AOE from 052, and DPS from 205 Snipers with 032 Sniper spam and Alch buff to make it more stronger. The only weakness is the DDTs and BAD since you need 040 Ninja, 2 040 Sub/520 Sniper to beat the DDTs and BAD respectively.
Weirdest strat I came up with on my own: elite/maim + dark knight save up into dark champion on bloonarius prime (chimps). It turns out, Having the snipers, a village, and the DK under the tree allows for absurd save ups on that map. I used sauda for my hero, though Churchill in that same village range works nicely too.
I’m a big fan of just like primary spam with Geraldo and a mentoring village, the tack zone with sharpening stone and pickles is crazy good plus when you could buff the superhero caped supers with it it was insane
Ok, so I was gonna test out the MK point that gives the Door Gunner ability to the Special Poperations Heli, and I found out that farming cash with Support Chinook until SP is surprisingly good, at least for me (I was playing on standard Hard mode and running Benjamin, if that matters). An Alchbuffed Bloonjitsu and Recursive Cluster + Radar Scanner hold up surprisingly well for SC, where then you'll be able to save up for SP, and I actually liked using it!
The crate gives a good amount of cash (5000), and Marine is powerful too, if you get the SP Heli inside the range of a village, he'll be even stronger, and since the cooldown is short, you can deploy another one right before the current one disappears, and it is pretty powerful if I say so myself. Then, once you use the ability enough times, you can sell it for good money, which can go to easily affording another Tier 5 tower.
So, yeah, it's pretty good for me, although I wouldn't suggest any of you try it out. I say this because I can't even beat CHIMPS w/ a Black Medal so taking advice from ME of all people is pretty much a no no.
-And I run Bomb Blitz unironically-
I want to mention an extremely cursed tactic I learned to love. Boat Farming, but with a twist. Combining Pirate Lord, Energizer, and Monkey City lets you eat moabs at a stupid rate, and earn good money alongside, especially if Benjamin is in the reactor and city's radius. With all this money, you can then just do whatever you want. The strat cant slaughter the late rounds such as 90+ well due to the mass of moabs, but your tens of thousands of dollars you got for eating 80% of the moabs in all the earlier rounds likely will be able to.
As a note rubber to gold increases the money gained from roping in moabs so should include that in your strats
That sounds epic. I'll have to do that next collection event when I'm grinding impoppable wins
I really like using the circle ice-fire strategy (copyright), because it's very easy, good and I came up with it myself.
You place down a tack shooter, boomerang and wait for the first camo's. Then you place an ice monkey to deal with that, and start upgrading everything to 4th tiers. First 5th tier is the boomerang (502), Then Ice monkey (205) and the tack shooter (502).
Strategy works in Chimps
A cool ideas would be a chimps strat for each hero
I once did a really weird strat but surprisingly good on chimps balanced. It was super brittle and bloon solver. Looks dumb on paper but its actually not bad at all, the bloon solver synergies with the super brittle making the bloon solver do extra damage with that insanely fast tick speed. but this cannot beat a bad on round 100, but you can just get one first strike and you’ll be good to go. I also added a primary expertise to give the ice and solver extra range while doing extra damage.
“Arguably the best strat in the game with Jones + Maulers”
It’s up there but Geraldo strats are unrivaled.
True, Geraldo is op. But I assume he'll be nerfed and maulers will remain. But that could be a bad assumption
my fave is 052 glue with a 420 or 520 village. The glue never goes away. It works even better with a 042 ice monkey, for that short time where you need to wait for the glue to come back.
Quiz: How many dollars are the 3 cheapest tier 4 towers combined?

Me, a beginner at Bloons, 2 strategies into the video: I like your funny words magic man.
Icicle impale + Bloon solver + Sauda. Its a monsterous strat that simply stall bloons while they get melted. Mix in sauda getting stupidly buffed damage from the slowing + DoT, and you have a beast of a strat. BAD is a mild problem but can be handled well enough with some single target damage to assist
This might be the first time I hear someone talk about really big bombs as a tower. usually it's bloon impact or bloon crush
A strategy I use is bloon liquifier and The biggest one. The fire and acid glue stacking on top of each other is surprisingly Powerful.
I love when my favorite youtubers get sponsored
I spent $65,000 on superstorm in a chimps game. Yes more than 50% of my budget on a staller and it worked surprisingly enough. There was literally no strategy it was stall and then hope that my one DPS tower could get rid of the DDTs before they broke free from the Druid's tornado. It got so close I actually had to use a First strike Missile on a DDT that broke through my defences.
The tack zone has a small range, but the top path village can increase range of primary towers
An odd strat I like to use is an Ezili bomb blitz combo where you can use Ezili's totem for what is basically a screen wipe in exchange for lives, I like to pair it up with a support Chinook to get those lives back. It's a shame you can't use it on chimps or unpoppable
Honestly, I never saw any of these, as I always played the other bloons games solo (this video is among the first ones I've watched regarding bloons).
I've always used 4 robot monkeys and filled the rest of the map with middle path planes, for the nukes.
I usually end up with 20+ nukes and 4 or 5 robots (also with nukes) and one druid (used to be the mage) with hurricane at the middle ot the map, to reset bloons to the beginning.
Quite nice to understand better other strategies and how to take advantage of certain paths.
Quick question: which talent tree would be better to spec first? I've started with the military, as it's final perk makes moabs spawn damaged.
I like going 250 druid. The thorns everywhere deal with so much, especially on maps with a long path and/or where the path loops back to the same spot a lot, allowing for more of the better thorns. It doesn't even need support. I'm not sure how it synergizes with support, like if the thorns can gain damage or anything.
The difficulty is in saving up for the tier 5 upgrade, as well as the very last rounds (90+ I think? Maybe 80s too). Some glue or ice slowdown is plenty for the last rounds. You need something to deal with early camo and then the round 40 MOAB, but he can nearly solo the rest until you can afford the last upgrade. Sauda takes care of all of that, if the map allows.
For the stalling strat you can also add a 032 heli for a cheaper knockback on moabs and bfbs
I love the absolute zero primary expertise combo, but also give a s/o to icicle impale included in this combo, he gets massively buffed by absolute zero, very fun and underrated combo, even if it is super niche
Chom Chom shoutout at the end the legend
I love the Striker Jones Mauler combo, I use it 60% of the time!
Weird strat: Farm really hard and then sell everything for a 502 super mines (multitrack) or a 520 super mines (singletrack)
xD
It just works!
If you play impoppable
I once did a s. maelstrom + slow down towers only and it worked pretty well

Using graldo's hero's cape on spillway to place a supermonkey in the middle. And selling the action figure to upgrade it to sun avatar in the mid rounds.
ezili, POD, and necromancer spam is a pretty fun strat i like to use for many chimps games
True, ezili POD is always a good time
i like the sauda/wall of fire strat where you place them and go afk for 39 rounds

i just did all easy chimps with Sauda + 4-0-2 heli + 0-2-4 glue + 0-2-5 mage all placed on a 2-2-0 village range and 5-2-0 alch . pretty easy transitions , you can pretty much afk most time past early . just place all towers as you get cash.

I used the SJ MOAB mauler strat on my second attempt at CHIMPS. Got me to round 99 as I didn't have enough of them.

So happy you got sponsored again
Does the Striker Jones plus MOAB Mauler spam still work after the Mauler nerfs?
I have 'invented' a new strat I call Perma-Glaive lord. A very strong strat that could be used to black-border many maps in the game
The first and weirdest strategy I used, is that, I don deal with MOAB class, so, I used things like Monkey Pirates and Siphon Funding to insta-pop the MOABs
Huh. That strat with the subs, I've done, if not the same, similar. I usually use a Glue Gunner to "spot" a portion of the track, usually near the start, but I can see why one might use the dart monkeys
002 darts are cheap have, good range and can see camo
@@jimkas3606 And from my experience, a sub can shoot at a camo if the tower spotting it can detect it.
@@arcanaxiii6665 thats basically the reason you get 002 darts and not 000 or 001, for intel
Ahh its good to be back on the hbomb channel
What is one strong way to start alternate Bloons? I usually go with a 110 sniper to hit camos and leads, and the one I always have trouble with, the camo lead, but is there a better start?
i like using sauda bc she can pop camo by default and her lvl 3 lets her pop leads. Pair her with a 2xx alch and she can pop leads a bit more consistently, while the alch itself can pop leads as well
One rather strange strat that I've seen someone use involved spamming 0-3-2 Boomerangs with Primary Expertise on Dark Castle.

the use of a ton of dart monkeys
What about the merchantman spam strategy?
You forgot the 032 sniper spam. It's even possible by spaming MIB villages and only 032 snipers on the map. No T5 snipers. Looks very funny in the end when 50 bouncing bullet snipers are killing the BAD. Easier with just little spam and T5 snipers, but that one's funnier.
what about engineer spam, necromancer spam, or carrier flagship ace combo

It's kinda goated
My fav heraldo strat is just godboost tackzone
My current favorite strats are to pair Icicle Impale and Glaive Lord together around a primary expertise village, and then to pair Spirit Of The Forest and spam Moab Press around the same village. I black bordered a lot of maps with either strat
Wait glaive lord is good???
@@joplys2697 Only situationally, but when used right it's amazing
Anything with Bloonmaster Alchemist would be considered weird in my opinion. The dude completely takes money out of the picture
I think one of the most weirdest strats is going 2 1-0-4 alchemist a 1-0-3 glue then some type of camo mine is usually ucav then going bloon trap trying to get tons of cash without using farms
Chinook strats lol (for moving towers and not necessarily blowing back bloons)
Axis of glue? That’s a weird strat. Really any of the axis’s are weird
Fun fact about stalling: its reaaaaly good in battd because things still make money for as long as the round goes on for.
This is the strat I currently use to grind black borders(this doesn’t work for impoppible and chimps)ok here we go.

Get 020 village next to the 024 alchemists
Upgrade to 401 ninja
Get a 420 village, 2 204 bombs and a 402 tack
Get bma on r80
