SaiyanGoku9001 I have the had and fury campaign and I take it to school. Some kid asked me if he could play. He plays Mario cart so I told him that it’s nothing like driving. Your more like flying. Also he kept saying “this looks easy, I can do this”
I old him it took me over a month of continuous practice every day to get good. So yeah, great game, But a hard son-of-a-bitch.
Best thing about this is if you own the PS3 version of WipEout HD Fury, you get the content from that game for free in WipEout 2048. Very good game.

This game is godlike, I'm max level 50 on it,
which is impossible now the servers are gone :(

This game was surprisingly fun and I loved the stage design, but it made me feel like I was trash at racing games because I was always hitting walls.
Just got my Vita, I love my 3DS but it's an amazing system as well. Literally no reason not to own both
This was one of the handful of really solid Vita titles that showed what the system could do. Shame Sony left the console out to dry after just a couple years of great support.

Nice! Charging up my vita once again to replay this. This wipeout would be perfect, but the thing that I hate it for is not having custom races as other pervious wipeout did. All you had was the campaign(boring when you 100% everything) and multiplayer (a ghost town at times with cheap servers). So not having those custom races just blew it for me, but I'm going to start all over just to race all over again.

One of my all-time favorite games despite its difficulty. I'm still playing it on my Vita AND also my ¡PSTV! that I soft-modded. It's awesome playing it with the new dualshock 4. The touch pad on it is extremely precise! Thanks and S/Os to my buds on thevitalounge.net!
Shoulda advertised this handheld. It's enjoying success in Japan and it's moderately popular in Spain as well. Why? Because it was advertised decently in those countries, and also no four-tittied women.
But anyway, I suck at this game so I haven't beaten it, but I like it.

Been enjoying this on the Omega Collection. So far certainly superior to the other 2. I tried it in the VR headset for a while and found I was actually playing better

I really love this game, but after playing it, I gotta say I think it would have been better on a home console. Liverpool underclocked the Vita to save battery and that causes the game to frequently dip to the 15 - 25 FPS range and that combined with the small sticks makes controls way less fluid than on PS3. It's less of an issue in the HD Fury expansion pack but 2048 played much better on PS4's omega collection in my opinion, I'm glad Sony remastered it instead of leaving it trapped on the Vita because technical hurdles aside it really is a great game. Now they just have to port it to PC and all will be right in the world :)

this is the first game I bought for my Vita in the biggest reason I bought my Vita. But it is extremely hard on the more difficult levels. That turns it down a notch should have been just a little simpler.

Actually the Vita version of Ridge Racer turned out quite good. It was an insanely greedy chashgrab in the beginning but now you can get the complete game with all DLC, tracks and cars for like 10 bucks in almost every PSN sale. And that's definitely worth it.

Not a Wipeout fan personally but I was impressed with this version
It's a shame this series died when Sony closed Liverpool studio, l would hate for Sony to bring this series back without that Designers Republic aesthetic and the quality electonica/IDM tunes. Wipeout 3 will always be my favorite.

They should make a VITA tablet or something that can dual boot the VITA and Android. I kinda wanted one but I have no reason to get it because I already have a mobile in my pocket and I barely use my tablet anyway. Maybe they can do something with Nvidia like that Shield.

It's a great game, but it's unpopular because it's difficult. They should add bounce walls to make it easy for bad players. Imo calculus is easier than this game... Or running for us president

My only problem with the game is that grinding is fucking abysmal, and if you are like me and got the physical edition from America and you're living on the eastern side of Earth, you are basically doomed to never 100% the game because the online pass wouldn't work, and getting the "Elite Completionist" trophy wouldn't help you.

...Yes -_- It does. Though not many people use it, if you intend on playing you'd likely have to create your own lobby and set it up that way.

Credit for being more active than Sony's server dude but Wipeout 2048's server is active, just no-one uses it. If you've got a few friends with Vita see if you can set up an online lobby and you should be able too though. The Vita's server system is essentially the same as the PSP's, it's operated by Sony...not the development team. If I'm mistaken I do apologise.

The last ever WIpeout now the company is bust no more Wipeout games. Sad times.
The biggest enemy of the Vita was not the smartphones, the DS/3DS or climate change. It was SONY itself and the stupid stupid stupid decision to have such an expensive storage solution. If the cards were at about the same price as normal DS cards then far more people would have bothered with the Vita. I am a fan of retail physical copies, but for the Vita the amount of games even I would have bought from the psn store would be 10 times as much.
If they ever release another portable system (I do hope they do) I hope they have learned from their mistakes.
Also, while I know I am in the minority over this, I hope it doesn't have a touch screen. I fucking hate them.
As for this game, for me it is far more easy than previous big boy editions of the series. And I suck at wipeout.
