yodagamer1 you're right..... sonic all-star is more on a casual side (while u can up the difficulty there, too) and there you unlock _racers_ instead of vehicles. WipEout is more upon challenge and skills and ruining friendships! 😜
Shubham Bora yeah love this game too, just love kart racers too and transformed is one of my favorites. It's the best way to play it on the go. The 3ds version was trash and the new Sonic racing game doesn't interest me.
My very first vita game. My mom was kind enough to go to Future Shop (now Best Buy) on launch day on her way home from work. She called my up and said I get a game included and asked which I wanted. I was torn between wipeout and uncharted. I chose wipeout. The first time playing was magical. I still remember teenage my shitting myself at how good it looked. It's not the best game on the vita, but it was the first one. And for that, it's got a special place in my heart. Good stuff
Let me just say that I love Wipeout 2048!! I love the hell out of this game. I bought my PS Vita slim about 3 years ago and I got three games: Rayman Origins (Great game), Persona 4 Golden (Still haven't played it but will someday), and Wipeout 2048. I've never played any Wipeout games before 2048 but I was hooked. This game made me the Vita collector that I am today as the game showed the possibility the Vita was capable. I've beaten 2 two times on the Vita and beat it in Omega Collection. To me, Wipeout 2048 is a masterpiece and I pray we get another entry in the series. Love Wipeout 2048 and love your view. Thanks man.
Wipeout 2048 was definitely a surprise to me. I knew it was going to be good but I didn't think I'd be so impressed with it. Everything about it was so well put together.
@@SuperJumpReviews From my understanding the game was developed by Sony Studio Liverpool and it was the last game the studio would make. They went out with a bang because they felt the company was going to be shutdown by Sony and they did. The company was shutdown 7 months after they release the game and they working on a Wipeout game for the PS4. I love how they went all out on this game. Also the game was launch title. They left an amazing game to start the Vita off and I hope with the sales of the Wipeout Omega Collection will keep the series alive.
Idk how I missed this review 😂 I recently started playing 2048 again and tbh this game has my favorite aesthetic of the entire series, combining modern day cities with futuristic stuff. Just wish this game had Racebox and the cabin view showing the inside of the cockpit like in VR on Omega. Edit: Oh and the ship sounds, my GOD! Fucking orgasmic. I grew up in a family of car racing enthusiasts so to hear these ships kinda sound like cars with gearboxes is just *chef’s kiss* Plus I LOVE the intro, showing the real-life past, present, and an alternative future of motorsports is just so good.

It is basically the full 2048 game with the HD and Fury content, but in 1080p 60fps and they even added VR support for free recently. It's nuts! Though I'm still not uninstalling 2048 from my Vita. Btw, I'm still waiting for that Soul Sacrifice Delta review! One of my top 3 favorite Vita games. I don't want to make the review myself cuz I'll nerdout too much. If I do make a video it'll be about the background references and inspirations of the game. I actually went through the game's cutscenes several times to hear the japanese voiceover to pinpoint who was who in the story originally. The english localization removed all alusions to Arthurian legend from the game and turns out the game's characters and storya arcs are entirely based on hardcore arthurian lore (though through the bleak dark fantasy view akin to Berserk). Just the extra delta storyline that is independent on purpose. Form what I've read, the censorship apparently was due to sensitivity(?) cuz it seems there are people to this day that actually believe in arthurian legend and the localizers didn't want to risk offending these obscure followers. I can't source to that, but the japanese voice acting is proof that the characters are called by arthurian names and their stories parallel those of legend (though with artistic liberties). And not just commonly known names from the romantization by T.H.White, but obscure names from the oldest of the legends from the "History of the Kings of Britain" by Geofrey of Monmouth written almost 900 years ago. As I said, I nerd out with this game cuz it's one of the rare games that got me cultured!
