OMG! I live in Tempe - new to railfanning - and just realized this nifty spot exists near the Morristown fly-over the other day while visiting friends there. Got to pace a 9 - locomotive BNSF heading north with a short consist (obviously a power move) to the fly-over where a mixed power southbound waited. Nice to know I'm not the only local loco loco in the neighborhood!
Thanks for watching and commenting; there are lots of great places to railfan around Phoenix--Maricopa is one, and it's a lot closer to you than Morristown!
Heh. Actually about equidistant between Morristown (where I'm buying property) and Maricopa where I'll definately be railfanning soon! I wonder if shooting a non-digital Canon 35mm SLR will get me booted out of the railfanning club?

Rewatching this one with more train smarts than 2 years ago: Holy cow! 1:25 - VERY RARE! A blue CEFX on the ARZC? Knock me over with a feather!
