This album is probably my least favorite of the "Unholy Trinity", that said, this song is legendary, the riffs, the lo-fi production that makes certain songs sounds more filled with despair then they did already, although I would like the production up a kick overall, I only this song the way it is here, a re-record/re-mix would make it sound odd or perhaps take away from the song. Good video man
Hello. I have a question for you if it's not too late. I know how catholic Colombia is and such.... are there any limitations to free speech in terms of black metal culture/performances? Greetings from Canada. I would just imagine it being a hard thing to express admiration for something catholics consider evil.
@@valeriegregoire5073 hello Valerie, the advantage of black metal is be a unpopular music genre and that facilities the performance. Although in 2018 a Marduk show was cancelled in Bogota for political pressures but generally there aren't problems.
@@valeriegregoire5073 also consider that Mayhem's Dawn of the black hearts bootleg album was supposedly made, and sold by a fan from colombia. So i would say that speaks a lot. Catholicism is way more permissive than other forms of cristianism, as well. And as a latinamerican i could assure you that unless you live in a very secluded part of the country, religion does not longer hold the power (for both good and bad) it once had. That's a very outdated prejudice about latinamerica in general.
”My mountain is cold” i felt that:(
Poor mountain.
real
Maybe not the greatest song lyrically but definitely very atmospheric
In the lyrics live the Evil spirit of the song!!
The instrumental is so depressive.
Actually lyrics are very accurate to the track, I think they are perfect, but its my opinion, you can have yours of course, cheers mate!
SO PUREEEE
SO COOOLDDDD
TRANSILVAN HUNGERRR
Not sure if it's true but I heard somewhere that the lyrics were about or at least inspired by Dead.
Man I love listening to this album while going back home on a cold night after school (I go to school in the afternoon)
One of the greatest black metal albums ever. Good song by Darkthrone 🤘🖤
A beautiful song for all the family.
Black Metal classic right here. Defining album of the second wave. Set the bar for countless bands to come. That fucking riff is ice cold.

Darkthrones unholy trinity are the three arguably best black metal albums
Depression and pure darkness

This is my personal favorite lol, the only one I really don't like is Under a Funeral Moon
under a funeral moon is deffo the worst of the trinity, none of the riffs really stand out
seriously mountains are cold,i would have never known that...
This was super epic
Amazing job for an amazing song, regards from Colombia

Thanks
Why i like this?
it’s cool and good
Welcome to the black metal family broski, enjoy the ride
This is the song that got me into black metal decides dunkelheit by burzum
fucking nice song, so emotional and cold
🤣🤣🤣🤣
A 20 second intro before the song is really obnoxious.
That’s black metal for you
20 seconds is too much??? Damn you must be an average pop fan
@@EvelynSucksAtLife i think they meant the intro the uploader added to the start with the song title and stuff
Be real, people. Sounds like the Dark Knight having some bad diarrhea. Nothing musical about this.
I always thought music was a subjective thing
Personally I get a lot out of it but everyones entitled to their own opinion. Its obviously not for everyone. Rock on dude.
You like most people underestimate its value
why you here then
Then why are you here then? There is something musical about this. Trve kvlt forever!
