Got the ebony version, beautiful, very lightweight and ergonomic, really nice action. Definite recommendation.
Feeling those Wood scales ! 👍
I just got the version with the rosewood scales. It would be very hard to go wrong with a Ray Laconico clip point front flipper knife with a crossbar lock. Especially at this price point. It has all of my favorite features for an EDC knife wrapped up in one great package.
The wood scales are the bomb 💣. This looks very desirable. Thanks for the review.
I like the Pardo with the rosewood scales. The full-size
and crossbar lock is a big plus also. I prefer a larger knife, and the price is reasonable. I might have to add one to my EDC rotation. I also like the Real Steel Huggin that you recently unboxed. The blue micarta and brass are a great combination.
Just too, many choices !
I'm liking 👍 all your reviews!
Great job!
What an awesome knife(CJRB Prado).Would have also loved it if CJRB would have added a thumb stud attached to the opening hole like how Kizer do on their new C01C model!!
Man that is a beast
Cool knife. I'd love it with wood scales
I bought the rosewood scale version. I gotta say that I’m not impressed. It feels flimsy and cheap. The reverse flick on mine is less than pleasing and the crossbar lock is squishy. However it’s not all negative, the slow roll is good, as well when the knife is open it is quite comfortable. I do enjoy the shape and size of the blade. I was just expecting more for some reason.
Do you get extra Hardware with cjrb crossbar locks? Extra Omega springs?
Hope they make a premium version.
I’m beginning to wonder if AR RPM9 is designed for really narrow blade stock. Every knife CJRB makes with that steel has thin blade stock, and tend to be very slicy.
Great job, my question is it better than the large pyrite
The hectare I sent back, clip was missing a screw and action was not good
Laconico keals it every time. Too bad his designs end up with AR-RPM9. I do not like it. VG10, 154CM or even D2 would have been better. I find this 9cr too soft. I would have GLADLY given 120$ for some S35VN on this design. Maybe we will have a Ti/s90v version over 200 in the future. Artisan have a strategy that I do not like much with those new knives. S90V is awsome for sure, but I would have liked a middle priced version with S35VN or something or Micarta an M390 for 140, come on, Artisan !
How do you feel about AR-RPM9? I ordered the Pyrite with S90V and even that was under $100... they have so much value.
I like it!
AR RPM9 (scandal aside), seems to be a pretty good budget steel. Seems to hold a decent edge for a good while, and although I haven’t had to sharpen any of mine yet, I think it’ll sharpen fairly easily.
Any Laconico designed knife interests me. Decent materials that looks nice with a good price. Thanks for sharing Wayne!
The prado is so good until you look at the plunge grind!
I’ve seen much worse.
@@WaynesSharpWorld for sure but at this point it’s just lazy to have it.
I own them all and find the wood look just doesn’t work for me. It’s nearly too light. Feels very plasticky on the handle. Just my take.
Too bad I’m not a crossbar guy
