Grew up in Chicago in 50s and early 60s, but, learned about manure fertilizer in grade school and many years after. A janitor spread the manure every spring on his apartment building lawns. We had to pass it every day going and coming from school until the smell dissipated weeks later. Have to admit the lawn was thicker and greener than the other neighborhood lawns.
I only have eyes for Ronnie - I adore him! I hope UA-cam stop mucking around with their algoriithm thing ypu have been flying under the radio in my subscriptions!

Been putting out some tasties for the wild fox and he was leaving turds perfectly lined in the bowl as a thank you. After a bit of fun about it, I told him that it wasn’t funny anymore. I wrote him a detailed note that wasn’t insulting and now no more poops! The donkeys might have to be a bit more fox.

In defense of donkey poop ......Donkey poop is the best! It's not hot. As a gardener I've found it to be worth its weight in gold. My best gardens were with donkey poop. Im with the Ronnie and Steve!
