This man is so confident and so soothing. No hyper macho nonsense. A man’s man, and he gives these animals the sense of safety and security that they maybe never had before. I dig this a lot.
Aww Barry's come such a long way, frm when this video was taken. I remember seeing the picture of him before he came to the sanctuary, standing on a dirt road by himself. Julian,, your sweet little chat here, so quiet and calm, it was just what he needed. Now Barry 's a happy contented boy. Glad I got to see the transformation. You, Rachel and the volunteers are such a Blessing for these animals. God Bless You, for everything you're doing.😊
Thank you for making this wonderful content. As a person who suffers from chronic depression and anxiety, and missing my soulmate that I lost when I was a young mother, I need to focus on the positives. I come here, share in these delightful and sweet animals, and love listening in on your "life lesson" talks with them! Your kind compassion for animals, and your great sense of humor, plus all of the animals, of course....they make the world a better, kinder place. Thanks for letting me drop in to share time with you all!
This brought tears to my eyes …….just marvellous to see that there are wonderful people who truly ,truly care about these neglected, damaged and traumatised animals !,,,, You deserve everything that comes your way .i hope it’s plenty ❤️❤️👏👏
That’s good advice for humans too. “Remember, past is gone. We don’t care about past. We only care about future. We only care, actually, about right now.”
I do love the fact that you spend time with the animals - the trust you are gaining will go a long way. They are all attached to your kind, gentle and soft approach to them. I love the therapy you are doing with them psychologically. They truly understand what you are saying to them. I am betting he/they have never had such love in their lives.
Let's face it how many humans have had this much love and attention on a daily basis. This is a terrific role model for how you should treat people as well.
@@patriciadavis5939 A long time ago I heard that humans need 12 hugs everyday to maintain good health. All I know for sure is loving and safe touches are extremely important to ALL beings. 👊🥰✌️
It made me think of God's gentleness with His children. Sometimes we are stubbon depressed little donkeys. He loves us just the way we are. I am a new subscriber. Thank you so much. I'm officially in donkey rehab, finally. All creatures, great and small.
I love how Philip just horned in for his share of ear scratches! If the sanctuary were in America, I would volunteer to be the Dispenser of Unlimited Ear Scratches! ☺️
We don’t know what relationship this Donkey had with its previous owner . He doesn’t look abused , neither does Ruby . The fact the person ended up in prison , does not mean they abused their animals . Maybe this boy is missing his previous owner . Animals create huge bonds with humans . Poor lad .He really is in the best place now to find trust again ❤️
This man and his partner are extraordinary humans doing superhuman deeds of unconditional love for all those beautiful beings. Spain is lucky to have him.
Nearly in tears watching this. Hate people who are cruel to animals. God bless you, for helping this Donkey. Dont know his background, but hopefully he will forget the past and trust again. There are nice people in the world who love and care for animals. 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Best UA-cam video I've seen all year !!! I clicked LIKE before watching it, but then by the middle of it, I wondered, WHY isn't there a LOVE button ?!! I'd give it a million clicks.
You are very kind and wise Julian. As soon as you rubbed his ears, he gave you kisses. Your advice to him was truth from the heart. You and Rachel have a hard job but the most rewarding job. Blessed To All. 💖✨💖
You're making good progress with the new donkey; he was a lot more standoffish last week. Now he's enjoying your cuddles and licking you back. You've won him over with your ear scratches, conversation, and loving attention.
Thank goodness they have a loving home now and it will just get better as they realize they don't have to worry about anything bad anymore, they are all so lovable, hugs and ear scratches to them all 🐎🐐 xx
Ruby tapdancing on the roof. What's more important is your future, not your past...life lessons from Julian. Bless him, he's a bit partial to an ear scratch. It's going to take a little time for him to trust you, I suppose, but he's licking you already, which is a great sign. Here and now, here and now.👍🤞🤩
This was such a precious interaction between Julian, Barry, and Philip. It looks like Barry is really building trust and working on adjusting to his new home. What a sweetheart! Philip was a little sweetie too. ❤️

Exactly, humans don't really belong on top of buildings either.😁
I like my ears scratched.
I thought the same thing. It would be so wonderful to have someone stop and talk; and then have your neck and feet massaged. 💞

Julian has such a calming deep base voice that’s one reason why the animals are so attracted to his energy.
