The run ended up being retimed to 17:44 via speedrun.com. Wish we had a better run since there was terrible RNG on this, but this is how it ended. Between caretaker disappearing and console load times being poor, can definitely see this being broken soon! Any questions, feel free to comment or message Perseus#5686 on discord!

how do you well skate on console? 😮 Also actually huge run!

RT off of a ledge, than press A, than press your super. the buttons need to be pressed within a VERY short span of each other but not at the same exact time. try going to a crucible private match and give yourself infinite heavy/super to practice!

Over 5 minutes to place the rally banner for first encounter, that’s almost as long as the crown opening encounter
How do you well skate so consistently? I fail occasionally on controller and it’s super annoying
an extreme amount of attempts. be confident and try to keep your timing consistent, it’ll become 2nd nature!

Do you use default button layout on your controller? If not what buttons have you changed or what layout do u use?
@@zvChaos i mostly have everything as default, i have air dive ability to press B instead of hold B to shatterskate and i have both of my melees binded to RB but i prioritized charged melee first so if i have a charged melee it will always do that no matter what.

How did u know which scorn captain to kill without the call for your room?
When you’re running for the third room, killing the “correct captain” triggers the “obelisk awaiting offering message”.
ideally killing both is always the safest play and then you listen for the call for YOUR room. we had 2 players who didn’t want their voice to be in the video so while they were giving callouts, it cant be heard in this video.

That run was retimed to 18:07 because the timer pause was changed to an equalization.

@@Sigma1234bruh the rules since changed from when they were first implemented, the 17:31 run was retimed to 18:07. they use 5 people to do 1st and 2nd encounter so the 6th can skip and be there instantly while we have all 6 at 1st and 2nd encounter with skip going fast enough that there isn’t any waiting in orbit on the caretaker kill!
You guys probably coulda got around another 10 seconds off if you pushed for that equalisation. Good run though well done.

Why was the majority with trace rifle?
double special used to spawn more special bricks, the magazine size is bigger, and preference! also if you need to switch to a weapon that is special ammo, you will already have ammo instead of having nothing!
I gotta ask , at 0:59 how does y'all make the ship move when only 1 guy dunked ?
They deposited 8 initially, waited for the knowledges to respawn then put in the final one.
@@takt694 ^^ after doing that, if multiple people sit on a knowledge before it spawns in, it will duplicate itself to each player so 1 knowledge can be given to multiple people. that’s why you will see us group together

The timer starts on the first movement, up until the rhulk kill. The in-game time is 17:46, but src retimed it to 17:44.

it doesn’t work in the raid, only pantheon. even if it did, would be a very cheap way to kill!
