Abandoned village in Portugal - Serra da Lousã

You probably associate Portugal with sun and beach, but this country is so much more than that. I took a trip that is a bit out of the ordinary, and visited a place I've never been to before, despite it being so close to home. In Serra da Lousã we visited 3 of the 17 schist villages, Chiqueiro, Casal Novo and Talasnal. To finish the day, we tried some local food, sheep cheese, "chanfana" old goat cooked in red wine and "alheira" a poultry sausage.
