Kudos to you, Pastor Ross. I must admit, that I wasn't familiar with your work until I saw you on the Hardly Initiated podcast with Princella. Your approach during that exchange earned my deep respect. Despite your disagreements, you listened attentively and responded with the grace befitting a true pastor. That's precisely why I'm reaching out to you now.
As a bishop's son who has spent many years managing a successful ministry and counseling pastors, as well as others in their marriages and relationships, I've witnessed a lot. My departure from Christian counseling was partly due to the hypocrisy I encountered - too many pastors hosting singles and marriage seminars without practicing what they preached. The number of such cases was disheartening.
In my role, I often found myself in conversations with pastors. It developed organically - who else could pastors confide in without fear of exposure? I became a trusted confidant for many. Reflecting back, it's been over 15 years since my last formal session. Since then, some of these pastors have been exposed, and others have passed away or moved on.
Observing a new generation grappling with similar issues, it seems the challenges have only intensified. I'm reaching out to express my encouragement for the path you're on. Continue doing the work and speaking your truth. The honesty and integrity I've seen in your approach are refreshing and much needed in today's world

Yes, get counseling when you lose someone. I lost my mom and she died 4 yrs ago and I didn't grieve the way I should which left me dealing with depression. I recently had to deal with it. I'm currently in therapy.

As a woman who’s been divorced from a abusive marriage. I’ve had issues with relationships since. Now I’m in a relationship and it’s very sexual. I want to stop . I feel like a hypocrite reading my Bible listening to worship music and praying . Also being on my church’s worship team. How do I overcome sexual immorality? It’s hard to resist especially being a woman with a high sex drive . After the act I immediately feel guilty . But I won’t stop. Not sure how to . I don’t want to be alone . Every relationship even the “Christian ones “ end up becoming sexual. It has me looking for other relationships trying to find something different but I still can’t give up the relationship I have. Because what I find is these men out here just want sex . I don’t want to be single but I don’t want to sin either. Please Help Uncle Tim please
Hi, I hear your heart and what came to my spirit as I read what you wrote is that walking away is hard, let's be truthful about that. And one thing that can help make it easier is to think less about what you are walking away from, but focus more on what you moving towards. You will be moving towards intimacy with God Himself, and that's priceless. Keep your eye on that, and may God grant you the strength you need to keep walking.
Hi love! Just a suggestion. I think you need to let go of the idea of not being alone for a while. You might have to bare being alone for a while to connect with God more and draw closer to him so he can lead the right man into your life. I was in a relationship for 7yrs and while in the relationship God called me to be abstinent till marriage. I hate being alone but it’s been so peaceful and I’m hearing the voice of God like never before. You might need to bare being alone for a while so you can stop going through the same cycles and let God move properly in your life. Let him direct you to the proper man for you. But also God needs to transform you and these men are getting in the way of that. They are mere distractions from what God actually wants to do in your life. Trust me I know how you feel and it’s hard being alone but the clarity, wisdom, peace and understanding you will get from God is so much more worth it.

This was an absolute blessing!! So real and transparent! The BEST part of the podcast for me is that it is built on Godly principles and big brother Tim ALWAYS comes from the Word of God when questions are asked about…life and struggles that we deal with. It was nice to know that we could be vulnerable and not be judged because of our struggles. Now..we can apply scripture (correction) to our lives and make sound decisions.
