The 24 yr. old that “called in”, I want to give her a hug and be a support for her. I want to be her big sister!!! I literally fought back tears listening to her. She knows what’s up and I’m sure she is grateful for the answer she received, however difficult and challenging it will be to adhere to it. ❤🙏🏾🤗

I've literally been in that situation. 9 years I was 26 and my daughter was 4. Then I had a baby by him she is 8 now. He is being manipulative and gaslighting and shaming you! He is in jail off of work related situations. I have power of attorney of all his property including his business. Mine is still married to his wife, found out recently. Just have to go! RUN!!!
What she also was not saying was, "I'm a woman and they don't take me seriously."
"Your personal conviction is NOT a commandment from God." Preach!!! Some church folk need to hear this.
You know.. I never once thought that I could ask God to take hold of my thoughts. It's such a specifically beautiful request. Thank you for reframing the way I think about asking for help in this area.
I have been avoiding listening to this but it has definitely helped with what I am going thru. I am engaged to a Muslim and I have been trying my hardest to make it work but I just don’t think he is the one. Everything in my life has gone completely down since we got together. I am not even happy to be engaged. I still feel like God has better for me…
Ask the Lord in prayer. Ideally, you want someone that's a believer and a man of God. Someone that's unequally yoked could end up making things a lot harder. Especially if you're not happy in the relationship, it will be hard to find joy in the relationship

Great advice that you gave to that courageous 24yr old girl. She is well on her way to becoming stronger and leaving that Toxic relationship. I felt like you were speaking directly to me at specific moments. I was also an enabler in a similar type of relationship dynamic. It’s hard to feel worthy when you’re tricked into feeling worthless in an indirect gaslight way. I will pray for you to find strength and do what you need to do. I just pre-order my book and this is my early birthday gift to myself as I continue to move forward in the new season God has me in and to hear the Holy Spirit speak through this episode (as he has done so many times) and it lines up with the word my Pastor preaches on Sunday has given me peace on some decisions I made at the beginning of this year. And ummm again I came from a direction I wasn't expecting but excited too see the journey and what it's all about in the Lord.

Rewatching … And around 2:04:39 … so true!! This is so common because in the church world, corporate lingo is not taught and/or understood. And it’s so important to know this. And it’s this information that takes us to the next level. And many people miss the mark (especially minorities) because we aren’t taught it and or introduced to it. We have to create those spaces and pull up chairs to tables to learn! I work at Meta not because God just handed it to me.. but I positioned myself with networks and notes!! I pulled up chairs, took notes and learned. And I’m still learning! It’s def a growth mindset for sure!! This was so good!

My friend is like the doomsday community which makes me more stressed. I’m more like I know the world is f’d up and when sh*t hits the fan, we still won’t be ready because the things we don’t talk about or see coming is going to take our breathe away. We can have all the food and water in the world but there are going to be many without and now there’s a target and ya know where I’m going with this. Do as much as you can. Build your survival skills like tying knots, creating from minimum resources, and ways to filter water. These movies scare the sh*t out of most and creates a big distraction sometimes. I let my friend go buy all the things. I don’t discourage her. I’m here to remain calm while she’s not. And we work best in that way.
