Perfect timing, I'm into picking locks and have been filing away my own keys for locks that I pick that have none, great restoration and I'm glad I have a friend that's a locksmith I just give him the cut #'s and pop a blank in the machine and away it goes. Not gonna lie if I had an old manual one it would have saved me hours of manual filing! Subscribed!

The swing bar underneath is used to shoulder stop the key when you're setting it up to cut. Great job.

Great job at that restoration mate. It was refreshing to see something different to the same old vices, planes, hammers, etc that are restored on a regular basis. Most of us will never even see one of these key duplicators for sale let alone have the need for one, but thank you for sharing this with us. 👍🇦🇺

Awesome job! Restoring! You're right, the castings were terrible. Makes you think how many people couldn't get into their houses after getting a copy made on this machine.

You need a cartridge tumbler with walnut shells to shine up the small parts. It's not very abrasive but will clean parts and get tnem shiny.

    Jolie restauration !

The work you do is fantastic but in my eyes you remove all the history of the items. The poor quality of the castings and the seams that should be there when it was new and even some of the chips and damage to the frame are all part of the working history and to me by removing this it devalues the item itself. Sand blast it and paint it thats fine but dont remove its history.
