Great webinar and info. Thank you 🙏
This is a wealth of knowledge that you took the time to share and I really appreciate that. This is the type of thorough information that even some paid classes do not teach. It was very informative and helpful. I was able to see my options and I am now able to weigh out the pros and cons for some of the business decisions that have had me stuck. I still have a lot of research and planning to do, but thank you for this value you have added. I am several steps closer to launching where I reside.
Starts at 14:20. You're welcome.
Should put links so we can click from UA-cam 👍🏽
I know you stated you got married to tide. Do you have recommendations on alternatives? - Should we go with a 5 gallon bucket of generic or does that cause more waste due to hard to manage? - powder or liquid? Dryer sheets or No dryer sheets? Is upcharge crazy for name brand products and then have a generic for others? We have your software just get stuck on the basics.
With the rising cost of Tide, we made the switch to Kirkland powder detergent. Some places have gone with bulk dispensors, but this Kirkland is working well for us and the customers like the smell. We do an upcharge for Tide, so it is still available by request. We do use dryer sheets too
@@CurbsideLaundrieswhat dryer sheets do you use? I know the Henkel (Persil/All/Sun) company makes the Kirkland liquid but I wonder who makes the powder.
Awesome! I don’t own a laundromat, can I still do this strategy
Yes you can. We have some successful clients who are doing pickup and delivery only. However, it is more challenging because the bricks and mortar location adds 'Trust' to Google's algorithm which helps your search ranking. There are other ways of establishing trust which helps your search rankings, long short answer, is yes you can, but you have to work at it harder. Also helps to have a business plan to attract customers and a plan while you are growing your business and working to become profitable.
Which Fluff and Fold bags do you use from Sudsy? Is it the regular Cleaner bags or specific Fluff and Fold bags? a link would be super helpful
ARe you referring to the clear plastic bags or the branded nylon bags?
@@CurbsideLaundries I'm referring to the clear plastic bags. There are a few different varieties that come flat or in a roll, which ones do you use and what size?
@@CurbsideLaundriesthis was an awesome webinar and I’d like to know the nylon bags suppliers you guys use
@@arturmeyster7478 We use 2 different sizes: 15 x 9 x 32 inch and 23 x 10 x 39" sudsy.com/product/small-fluff-and-fold-flat-pack-bag/ and sudsy.com/product/large-fluff-and-fold-flat-pack-bag/
How can I buy a Laundy mashine but am from Africa Tanzania the home of Kilimanjaro and Tanganyika
Can you recommend a good scale with usb?
Rice Lake makes a good scale, Mettler Toledo's are solid too. Make sure you get one that is legal for trade
@@CurbsideLaundries thank you. I ordered the Mettler Toledo.
Are customers required to request separating items or do you separate whites, colors, delicates automatically?
We separate laundry by color as standard operating procedure. We like the whites to stay white
Nice presentation but improvement is needed on. the volume thanks
Thank you, we'll take a look at that.
I don't agree with charging wet weight at pickup. The process is the process. I can imagine the attendant not charging at pickup because they believed it was already paid at drop off, like 99.9% of the other customers.
Hit me up I want to buy your software
