Damn i learned a lot from this interview. Sound editor is no joke hah. Makes me want to see the movie again just to notice the sound design.
More interview with people behind the scenes please!
    Costume, audio, special effects, etc.

The sound design in this movie is some of the best I've ever heard

Just for the record... there was some cutting on the front end of this interview. I don't think Wylie quite understood the format, though I did explain it. He's a nice guy and so is Harry - and obviously talented to within an inch of their lives - but there were all kinds of things planned, including clips from the film, that could not be included.

because the whole time he is obssesed about how to relate this great sound work that they are doing and sell his expertise further, notice the little book he has in the begining in his hands...he just doesnt want any boring stuff about the process heard in the interview

Real hardcore nerds listen to a long interview with the sound guys. That's detail fandom.

It was kind of weird at the end where he tells the interviewer to wrap it up, and let's not discuss things further, but I guess they did give 36 minutes of their time.
Great interview though, and insightful. I haven't seen Django yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Was this video edited by a 7 year old?

haha... Wylie talks too much. He even wanted the last word there. I can appreciate the passion though. He clearly has a lot of love for his work and sound editors don't get as much credit as the probably deserve. :-/
