Kate Pierson was born in 1948, so she is 75 years old now. Vocals still hitting the high notes. Fred Schneider was born in 1951, now 72 years old. Cindy Wilson is a youngster born in 1957 only 66 years old.
I believe when we listen to a song in so different periods of a band it means we really like it! And this is what exactly happened to me and this song!
I'm a lifelong B-52s fan dating back to the first album, and not one of those "Love Shack" latecomers. They were a touchstone in my youth and I'll always love them, but this is depressing. They're way past their prime and clearly going through the motions. I'm glad I saw the back in 1983.
Like EVERYBODY..Performers AGE....We can't Deny Reality.....But, Maturity can add to creative interpretation...This Song is about DESPERATION...and it's one thing to be Desperate at 20....Another thing entirely to be Desperate at 65. If you Can't relate..just give it some...time.
If a band like to perform and they have an audience, fine. How many people complaining below have been in a band? Go away. Oh and stop working in a supermarket until you’re 60.
You know, when people don’t have the gift of playing music and making it their career, they should just shut it. The band are there to express themselves. Sure they want to entertain and make money. But do you really think they care about people who don’t enjoy them? ‘We are here to entertain. We do not expect everyone to approve. No matter’.
The guitarist is certainly competent, but has the stage presence of wet cardboard. Both times the bass player approached him, he seemed afraid of her! Soooo far away from Keith and certainly Rickys magnetic presence.
Dance little Cindy , dance !!! 💯💯
Cindy is so wonderful.
I love Cindy! ❤
I'll Give you Fish ❤ I'll give you Candy! Great Song.
THE B-52S STILL GOT IT!!
Cindy 💫😍
LOVE CINDY ❤

They sound amazing and need to come back to Georgia
You’ve been to too many concerts and your hearing must have suffered friend. They were great, but it has passed by them.
Magic, enjoy while it's here
I'd love to hear more of the studio version sounds
The popping in the studio version is from reverb feedback it was a happy accident
Hearing the billiard sound effects would be sick!

Myself included,it sucks getting old.
Rock n Roll !’nnroll JT Noho
I thought they didn't play this song live anymore. 💕💞
I've seen them live 5 times back in the 80s... They seem so tired here, this actually made me sad. Glad they're still rocking though.
Same here. Glad I saw them many times long ago.
hey sound booth! wake up!
At about 2 4:40 Mark oh damn yes straight up
Sounds like a LOT of backing tracks. Saw both guitarists not playing but the rhythm gitbox was playin'
Is that Sara Lee playing bass?
I'm old and I love the B-52's, but this is sad. There comes a time when elderly entertainers need to step out of the limelight.
Same here
A few singers themselves have also said this...that that's why they stopped singing
Bull. They look and sound as good as ever.
Weak mind set. These old birds are bringing shear heat here.

Where is the orig guitarist (formerly their drummer) ?
I love the b52s, but this is tragic. So sad to see..

They've become self parody. 😢
This song sucks without Ricky!!
No mija yo con 54 lo hago mejor😂😂😂😂
THIS is not the B-52s. Its a joke!
Didn't you give him herbes,
