The 2018 one is the one before the redesign right? That truck was quite old honestly. The engine was a rock though. Though this engine is way more powerful than the old V8 even though this is just a turbo V6. Also this truck is a lot more modern. For reliability though, that might not be a good thing with all that tech in the engine area. I am not justifying the price increase since everything did get out of control in the last few years price wise.
YAY! They brouught back the pillar grip. I had to buy my Ford F250 in 2019 because they didn't have the grab handles and made you grab the sterring wheel to get in. Most asnine way of getting into a truck. Wish thry had it in 2018.
As long as you’re cruising that hybrid battery will turn on and the engine will shut off Backroads doing 5mph, I’ve had it turn on on the highway going 60 Love these trucks
Wow, i did like your video a lot. I am still not convinced that i have to pay so much money for a vechicule like this one, at least right now, but your video is very informative and it gives you a pretty good idea what you are paying for. Thanks! P.s. your subscriber now.
Thank you so much and I am glad you enjoyed the video. I really appreciate you subscribing. I agree with you that it’s a lot of money and frankly even if I had the money to buy a truck, for this amount of money is a tough sell regardless of the brand. Wait a couple of years you might find a good deal on these.
Lol thanks. I recorded in winter, it was so cold man I was shivering the whole time. You can see that when I am talking about the back seats. but the reason it looks not so HD is because I can only film in the evenings and in winter the sunsets at about 6PM and you start to loose light around 5:30PM. that makes the video look so grainy. But I tried my best with the things I had. 😃
The 2024 Tundra isn't even out yet. I don't think it will be out until the 2nd half of 2023. If you are talking about the 2023 Tundra, I think you can build it on Toyota's website, but you have to choose a dealer to get a quote. So you are technically ordering through the dealer.
Hi, do you find that seats are uncomfortable as a lot of people stated that? And do you think that overall build quality is up to Toyota standards especially the inside central console? Thanks!
The seats were definitely on the firmer side so in a long drive it may feel uncomfortable. The build quality is definitely a compromise between durability and luxury. A little more so on the durability side to be honest. But it being a truck you expect durability so I think there needs to be a balance.
I’ve owned a 22 TRD pro and 23 platinum hybrid. The seats in the platinum are firm and highly uncomfortable. Also the build quality overall is bad for the price
Just left a Toyota dealership here In Canada and for a limited like this one so not even the highest spec model the bi-weekly payments would be 756 cad $!!!! 1500 bucks a month have they lost there damn minds that’s ridiculous and I make good money but that’s 600 shy of my monthly mortgage payments on a 2100sq home
I feel exactly what you’re saying. The car prices have gone out of control which is why I am waiting it out a bit until the inventories get back in control. Though with Toyota, inventory might never get back to pre-Covid levels as per Toyota.
@@automaticYT the scary part is I don’t think it’s going to get any better. Think ford for example there truck prices have jumped by 20% and that’s the dealership mark ups. Only if I treat rates drop again . But how can you go from 2023 a lariat 89 grand and then 2025 a lariat 69 grand ? You can’t so how will it improve ?
These Tundras are not aging well. Even though new Tundra sales are supposedly breaking records, the feedback from owners is not getting any better. Also, the benefit of the hybrid boosted system doesn't outweigh the cost, loss of space in the cabin and more components to fail. Hopefully Toyota learns a valuable lesson and brings back the reliable products we have known to love.
It’s not just Toyota but most manufacturers are pricing the average buyer out of the market.
Awesome awesome job. I was looking at different videos of this truck and yours is by far the most In depth review. 👌👌👌
Thank you so much. Really appreciate the kind words. Please consider subscribing if I’ve earned it.
Really chill video. Good pacing.
Best truck I’ve ever had! Love it.
It is pretty good.
You did an excellent job, thank you
Thank you for the kind words!!!
I really intend 2 purchase hybrid tundra.Great video again
You can get the 6.5 bed with a crew max in the platinum trim level
Legit, bought my 2018 Tundra Platinum new for $48K. Granted, this has more bells and whistles but not $71K worth…NUTS!

Turbos are and have never been reliable.
i love toyota tundra 2023

Excellent review, thank you!
great video / review.
Thank you for watching and the comment!!!
Great review!
Great commentary
Very nice truck! Is the gas cap cover lockable?
Yes
On all hybrids
As long as you’re cruising that hybrid battery will turn on and the engine will shut off
Backroads doing 5mph, I’ve had it turn on on the highway going 60
Love these trucks
If you have any questions about this Toyota Tundra, let me know. I will try my best to answer them.
Where can we get the locked boxes that are in the bed of the truck?
@@vacarreable Those are optional equipment that you can get from Toyota directly.
@Auto Matic thanks! I'm buying this truck in a few weeks and I love this accessory. I'll have to ask about it
I like your reviews but it's much better if you will test drive also. But good job anyway..

Great job buddy 👍 would be great to see break down of that window sticker. sub
Thank you, really appreciate it. Here's the window sticker if you want to look in detail. imgur.com/tV3wR4H
Sorry for the reflection. :)
@@automaticYT Thank you! beautiful truck
Thanks man great stuff...
So my car garage is 5.5m so like how long is Tundra..??
Appreciate the comment.
Looks like this one with the 5.5ft bed is about 233 inches long so probably won’t fit in the garage.
Great Job!
I want one but like everything now, I can't afford it. I guess I'll just stick to my 02 tundra with 300k miles
I’m loving this platinum trim, but it’s hard to find one in Austin, Tx
I bet. Even this one was hard to get a hold of for this video.
Took me 8 months for mine 😂
I love mine !
Nice detailed demo! Subbed!
Thank you for the sub. Really appreciated. 🙏
Amazing truck
Great things at great prices 😃
This is a great video in regards to content. Did you record this on VHS?

I’m just teasing. You did a great job and continue the great work.

Thank you!! Please don’t forget to subscribe for lot more.
such a good thing...

Ang kuLET...
2022 Tundra the used car markets are seeing a lot of them coming in
Oh, very interesting...
WOW. EXCELLENT. TOYOTA. 👍👍
I agree, it’s a luxury truck but with a hint Toyota.
Can you tell us who manufactures the infotainment system? Panasonic, Pioneer, or Denso? Thanks
I believe it says JBL on the screen.
awesome.
I would love to know when can you put in an order 2024 Tundra

I have a 22 Plat hybrid, the seats at first were a bit firm. However 7k in and they are great. in my truck, fit and finish is perfect.
ما شاء الله
👍👍👍

71k!!! Preposterous
👍

71 Grand you have to be joking

No one cares that Toyota wants to charge you $70k for a truck Ford built 10 years ago??? But hey reliability eh 💩
New Tundra is Garbage!
What I hate the most about the new Tundra is I don't have one in my garage 😒
@@Midwest.. same 😔
That is your view, however I love my truck. I think it's better than the other trucks in its class.
タンドラを日本🇯🇵でも売って欲しいです。素晴らしいタンドラ乗りたいですね。
