Welcome Back mate. I hope you had a alright break. After watching all your videos I started to fix and sell lawnmowers. Mainly flat head Briggs and Stratton ones. I can’t wait to see more videos
Nice to see you mate, it's been a while. That utility certainly got a good wake up after being sat idle for so many years, it did the job very well considering...
As an American, I've always wondered why Austrailian lawn mowers have pivoting blades mounted on a center wheel as opposed to the flat iron, bar-shaped blade like mowers here have. I wonder what the performance difference is between the two designs. I'll be honest that tiny little two stroke mower performed better in that tall grass then my modern Lawn Boy mower did in the same type of grass. I'd love to see a competition between one of these old Victas and an old 2 stroke Lawn Boy. The old ones with the offset front wheel.
I’m not sure that I have a spare that is “known good” but I’d be trying points and or condenser before replacing the coil… you can also convert them to use a power torque ignition module.
Ha junkyard , have done points and condenser but not getting continuous spark . How do you convert them to use a power torque ignition module buddy .@@junkyarddog87
Every single one of those two stroke mowers should be saved. The 4 stroke ones usually lack the torque for the thick australian grass which is very annoying. Some wer good though, like the Kirby Tecumsehs or the 1980s Briggs on the Rover mowers, but other than that it´s victa two strokes all the way!
theres nothing like hearing an old victa roar into life for the first time i have had that pleasure a few times
The old girl ran well once you got it running, and it handled that long grass nicely, and she would appreciate a new set of blades 😉 👍
great to see you back Joe mate i hope your not affected by the floods in Wagga Wagga New South Wales.
Good to see you back mate,,Saving those great old Victas.
My Mum bought one in 1978, only the base rusted away about 10 years ago, never gave any trouble.
Good to see an upload from you mate!

Good to see you back, rate an old victa 👍
Neat old Victa, very satisfying to watch!

Welcome back mate! Missed you're post's!!
Cheers
These old 2 stroke victas make a way more pleasant sound than the new 4 stroke mowers. Even sounds quieter
probably healthier too
I agree!!!
Would like to see it with new blades
It done a great job mate
cleaning one of these up at the moment , then I will do the same to my earlier 125cc one
I'd like to see a how a flathead Briggs handles the same length grass.
How many hours have I spent behind one of those?
Nice mower - they don't make them like that any more.
Go the old Victa! Don't see you being able to do that with a fantastic plastic battery mower.
That thing just powers through that long grass
All good, well done 👍
Ha junkyarddog87 , Wayne here . Would you happen to have a coil for one of these machines . I have a edger with no spark . Thanks buddy Wayne .

my filming of the mowing is actually so slay
A great mower
How is possible that it's ripping through tall wet grass so easily. Did you sharpen the blades prior?

Great to see you back, you certainly put that old victa through its paces and it did well. How are you getting on with the mini moke ? Good video 🙂👍
One moke turned into 6 😂 currently have a mk1 English moke in the shed and a relatively rust free later model big wheel shell to put together.
@@junkyarddog87 Send me one over to the UK I’d love one 😂
Got the Australian issue safety shoes on his feet haah
Of course it will it’s a victa
