Because some of the larger states can't handle all the districts equally so feel like some states should get divided for their own development and benifits
As of now it was there on dividing thing but as our country is growing faster I feel this division of states might be happening after say in next 5 years
We Tulunadu people will always be with Karnataka, although our mother tongue is Tulu we love Kannada, and we don't want to be separated from Karnataka.

I am from Kalaburagi, i am a businessman so I know lot about tax system, I don't want to divide Karnataka but my Suggestion is if Government getting Excess tax from d area then they should use it on development of same area, u guys take tax from us & ignore us that's not a fair thing. Here we have more Cement Industry but they still struggling to develop because of bludy politics, government can provide land for other industries so their will be a new employment creates. Software industry just need a big Building to work so ask them to have a sub branch in North Karnataka, government can provide them basic necessary things, No need to divide states just need to think smart. If they have more money flow then development comes Automatically. Thank you.

It’s not necessarily 50 states, 1st we have to think of de-centralization of power, now both the govt wants to keep max powers and our union govt wins in that. Power has to be de-centralized in each village level. If you consider European countries here each village has individual revenue and budget. And if you consider Holland small country has 2 capital cities, we such a big country has only 1 parliament and one capital and centralized power. Forget about everything if you consider north east states there we can see the sunset at 4pm no one bother to clam for separate time zone but think making 50 country as development. Yes of course Karnataka and kannada is more than emotion and we have many options to develop keeping that emotion.

I'm from Uttara Karnataka don't want to seprate our blood brother kannadigas 💛❤️ and our step brothers tulunadu and kodavanaadu but shameless Karnataka govt is forcing them to do it by killing their culture and that should be stopped. Culture and language is their right and identity as it is ours if Karnataka doesn't understand this then I feel tulunadu and kodavanaadu should get seprate state.

Dividing north Karnataka into seperate state is utmost necessary. Because 80% of the development is happening only in south Karnataka (Bangalore,Mysore, Tumkur,Hassan etc..). Dividing in the sense we just need seperate authorities to work on Development hence it should be officially seperate state. And should not hurt anyone emotions, Ultimately we all remain as kannadigas.

In Karnataka this is not the problem. Caste feelings is the biggest problem as I have seen and compare to other states.

If karnataka divided, as communication language kannada will be only in south karnatataka except Bangalore, but in North karnataka Hindi will replace kannada as communication language as there are more marathi and urdu people. Till now in Gulbarga and bidar some people don't know kannada.

When I was in kalaburgi I went to watch kannada movie in santosh theatre, a woman came to theatre to watch movie but she ran away from theatre. She was speaking in hindi/urdu
In Maharashtra all kannada people from solapur latur sangli they speak and write marathi fluently
