I know that it’s a movie and part of watching it is the suspension of disbelief, but it still needs to be plausible enough for me to do that. If you are a fan of this genre or want more original sci-fi fantasy IP then please at least check this out for yourself🙏 even if it’s not your thing, we need to show the people making these things that there’s a desire for sci-fi fantasy that ISNT just starwars
I've watched the movie, and honestly, it was quite good. While everyone is entitled to their opinions, I believe Zack Snyder delivered a commendable film.
@@elliottpadditey3428 I agree, and I’m even more excited for the supposed R-rated version. Definitely convinced it will be even more entertaining when not restrained by the PG-13 rating
If the corrupt “Hollywood” critics hate it, then it will be another masterpiece.
I don’t listen to critics, make your own judgment and after watching it yourself
You have to man . Take a film class learn how to write screenplay
There is no accounting for taste. One man's food is another man's poison. Critics should get a real job.
We need more directors like Zach. This film is a masterpiece
yes a masterpiece of sh*t
@@iamlinda100like your taste

@@iamlinda100 for sure.
"MASTERPIECE" lmao
It's nothing but bias against Snyder from critics and the fact he's made a better "star wars" movie than anything Disney has made gives them the butt hurt. These are the same critics that called the last jedi a masterpiece
Once the critics hate then I know it's going to be fire!
The Marvels has like 61% from critics and it's a joke.
We all know Rotten Tomatoes 🍅 are by now decomposing...we can't trust them.
Let me guess…you’re 11
@dwinosam let me guess.. you're 45 ..living in your parents Garage.
I am still going to watch it. May not be everyone's cup of tea, but I have seen terrible movie's that I enjoyed. Not saying this movie is or will be.
Also, screw the critics. They hate everything that's good.
Thought it was great. And rotten tomatoes again shows that the critics are clearly out of sync with audiences. Why do this “critics” even receive a paycheck?
Critics will say anything if you pay them, if you dont they will make sure you to pay them next time
and i am glad that we are in area where Critics opinion = trash
Hmm, never heard of these critics ! I’m watching it and make up my own mind. Most people are not like me and like what I like.
My only complaint will be Djimon Honsou not being in it more
Honsou was completely wasted in this movie. He's supposed to be this brilliant ex-general but we never get to see him come up with some genius tactic. If he wasn't in the movie it would have made no difference. Terribly written character, like all of them. Fits right in with what a piece of turd this film is.
@@BlaBla-jj6sh Man had such high hopes for that movie but it was absolutely horrendous with extremely basic dialogue. I don't even remember seeing the genius general Titus on camera fighting a single enemy maybe he did but I don't recall. The only kinda interesting thing about the film imo is the robot race, I'm curious what happens with them.
Why does he always have a directors cut? Just release the version you want to release 😞
The film was truly captivating, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
How? Like how?! Lmao
@@richarddixon1450 You're a bozo!
The problem I have with most film critics (especially when they jump on a genre film) is their total lack of perspective. Most never watch the genre. Hardly the type of person I'm inclined to listen to. I'll see the film and make up my own mind.
If the reviews are bad, the movie must be amazing !!!!
I don't give a sheet about what critics, specially U.S., say since the late 60s when they savaged the Leone Spaghetti trilogy which they considered so lowly that they didn't even bother reviewing them. FOD, FAFDM and TGTBTU were the Sharknados of the day for Amurrican critics...while the world outside was going crazy about them. Manco was the kind of guy most of us teenagers of the world would have wanted to be and Clint Eastwood became an international icon while for these same mediocrities in the US he was no more than "a guy who couldn't act". BTW, did I say that since the 60s I don't give a sheet about what US critics say...?
It’s all about the audience, screw credits
Snyder is the best visual director hands down. Hes not apologetic, because its what we need. The audience has been conditioned to overly critisize art to feel superior instead of enjoying the art.
🧢 Denis Villenueve is better at visuals (and storytelling) by far
@@firstlast9846 I understand why you say that. He's great. Ive been a Dune fan for ages, and he's crushing it.
So what they’re saying is it’s everything I’m going to love
Directors cut should I wait ? So excited
I would definitely support it upon release just to show Netflix that there’s excitement behind it so they don’t get cold feet on future plans. But DEFINITELY the directors cut is the real prize. Who doesn’t want a 3 hr R-rated epic sci-fi fantasy?! That sounds rad
The score is starting to go up since the review bombers got their say in early.
I love your delusional mentality that this man can do no wrong and whenever he's criticized is bc of a coordinated hate campaign conspiracy against him LMAO

Guys at this point, The so called "Critics" hammering a movie almost guarantees it gonna be a pretty good watch. Critics are so out of touch in they may as well be another species.
If critics don't like it, it might be good.
Just like The Marvels 😄 critics didn't like that either.
Who cares about critics; as long as one likes the movies, that’s all that matters.
95 % of the "film Critics" of today are just a bunch of crybabies who want everything to be "fun" and "not take itself too seriously." And apparently, they love to hate everything Zack Snyder, and then whine about "online toxicity. Pathetic.
What's the music you use in the background?
I like it. Video looks pretty cool. It looks a lot like Star Wars. Which is pretty good. I like it. Action, story,it has Rebellion in it Great Star Wars spin-of. Haven't seen

Rotten Tomatoes gave Cuties an 86 percent
yes, but they also gave Godzilla Minus One a 97%. They are right just as often as they are wrong.
@@Quole1234Not really….
@@TheChubbyd07 yes really. Hate to break it to you but most Zach Snyder movies are terrible.
Zack Snyder is just Uwe Boll with Budget, there I said it
critics are bias against Zack.
I'll judge when watched, beside that what I don't get why does this movie needs a Snyder cut when it's written and directected by Snyder?
Because at this point it's like a given that they first release a lamer version so his fans will clamor for his true cut of the film to drum up fake interest in it. It's a gimmick at this point that needs to end, just release whatever ultimate version you wanted to in the first place and save us the nonsense.
I didn't like it, I'm a big sci-fi fan. I thought it had really cheap/bad visuals. Basically reminded me of the first Suicide squad spending ages getting a squad together. Would of been better as a TV series. Whedon is the last good scifi writer/director
Looking forward to Rebel Moon
Terrible acting, terrible choreography, terrible plot. It is as if some guy put a bunch of models to pose as actors, fed an ai with his favorite movies and generated a "movie" script, and then hired a bunch of Hollywood technitians to make it look industry standard. Garbage. Snyder should just stop.
Is this in theaters or something? I don’t understand. What’s with the robot at the end?
Snyder's style isnt perfect for everything, Man of Steel is a good example, but he is sincere with his work and keeps at it... more than some nowadays.
I will watch Rebel Moon, i don't expect a masterpiece, but i do expect to have fun, and if it gives that to me it all i ask.
Man of steel is goated one of the best cbm

man of steel was one of his better movies. Justice league and BvS were horrible.
No one said Supes should be happy, but he defo isn't a depressed moper with no personality.

I'm not picking a fight or trying to be disrespectful but if what critics say don't mean anything then why are so many people here watching a video about what the critics say only to say "it doesn't matter"
Critics will never determine the fate of a movie. But the fact that it’s a Zack Snyder film will 🫠
perfect data science project: compare the same critics opinion on recent Marvel or Disney SW vs this… I would have serious bets on the result…
Yeah, the whole 120lb woman being able to take down 220lb men by herself with no weapon, then do it over and over…why can’t casting directors pick someone who looks like an MMA fighter who could actually do these action sequences? The male actors chosen for fight scenes are all tall and muscular. I know that it’s a movie and part of watching it is the suspension of disbelief, but it still needs to be plausible enough for me to do that. I have seen some lithe women do well in things like martial arts, but it’s super rare. Most of the women in real life who can actually fight against a 220lb bodybuilder are heavily muscled. Sofia Boutella is a very attractive woman, but this “picking pretty women and having them work out until they have muscle definition” is just out of control.
I LOVE THE FACT THESE CRITICS SEE A MOVIE 1 TIME AND SOME HOW SEEM LIKE THERE GOAL IS TO TEAR INTO A MOVIE , WITH OUT REALLY WATCHING IT WITH OUT HAVING TO WORK AND OVER EXAMINE A MOVIE . YOU KNOW JUST SIT AND TAKE OFF YOUR ADULT HEAD AND PUT YOUR KID HAT ON.
From what I can see from the trailer, RM is just a mish-mash of different genres. I'm seeing STAR WARS, HARRY POTTER and just about any MCU movie.
Rebel against the critics!
The critics don’t define you, make your own judgement.
The character in the thumbnail??? Does anyone know who she is because she wasn't in the first film

I watched the film and it excede my expectations
Critics are so busy criticizing, they miss why it was made, “to entertain”
The early critiques were more aimed at Snyder than the actual movie. The critics, after it came out, watched it through Star Wars eyes, which left them having high expectations, especially since they've been complaining about the recent content that Disney's Star Wars has given us. Personally, I liked the recent Star Wars content AND I liked Rebel Moon. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the over-use of slo-mo. I'm fine with the lack of character development, and I'm fine with all the other franchises that I can identify with many scenes within.
