I think that this is the best thing about farm/ranch life, these kids that grow up on these places learn a lot at a really young age. Their work ethic, their ability to learn quickly, take instructions, and working with others...this life teaches them so many many good things. My uncle has a small farm in southern Georgia and I wish that growing up we did more than just have Saturday fish fries, and riding the go kart during the summer. Great job to the little guy, and kudos to dad for raising such fine children who has a respect for what he does. If they didn't respect their dad, they wouldn't wanna do those things and learn about what he does as an excellent ranch hand. Much thanks goes out to Mr. Welch also for having the wherewithal to aid in training the next generation. I really appreciate content like this.

My great-grandfather, David Nathan Arnett, was the first (I think!) manager of the Renderbrook Spade Ranch....according to all I know about him, he was not only a GREAT cowboy, he was a GREAT cowman!!!! Horses & cattle have been in my blood from waaaay back!!! Proud of my heritage!!
