I get laughing pretty hard every time I watch this. One horse sets off the other. Reminds me of a time I brought a colt to a big gathering and he got a little broncky and and it set off three or four other horses. Hats, gear and good times got spread all around that morning. Lots of laughs too, just like this clip.
I did about 3 to 4 months of cowboying on the gang back 9year ago. Worked with Wasey was a pleasure I worked under Dustin he was Cowboss then these boys are the real deal I loved every minute of it!! Free money😜 they called me Kiwi. I named a horse Kiwi I wonder if it still there. Larry was manager back then as well Very good manager/cowboy
Brings back memories...cowboyed at the Gang for a year the same year that Larry (the fellow at the end of the video) and his charming wife Bev came to manage the ranch...best people ever.
The cowboy riding him appreciated the roan’s good qualities enough to hang with him and work him through it. That’s one sign of a great cowboy. Anyone else might have let him go to auction where he might have ended up going to slaughter because the average person or cowboy may not have the patience or experience to work with a horse like that so my hat’s off to that cowboy!
I've watched this about 4 times now and laugh my butt off each time. Now, at 60 years old, I lung my horses a little just to take the edge off of them before climbing on. LOL Good Video

I like horses with pretty heads and attractive confirmation. I'll take the bucking roan or appaloosa if that's what he is. Then I'll take the sleek bay with the long legs - the hind left has a sock. Thank you, I'm kidding but those are lovely horses

@@robertcurtis-chapman5598 Horses are awake about 22 hours per 24 hour period. So if they are in a closed stall they are unable to do what horses do...........graze, interact with herd members, exercise, etc. It is not good physically. It is not good for the horse's mental well being. Standing in horse poop and pee is not good for the health of the hooves. I have my horses be horses. Close stalling a horse does not allow a horse to be a horse.
What about western pleasure horses.and barrel horses. Some of the stay inside all the time and never go in the field. Also most people clean there stall 2 or 3 times a day. So the horse is not spending that much time standing in poop and pee
@@robertcurtis-chapman5598 Again...........hours in a closed stall is bad for a horse mentally and physically. It is not in their best interests to do so. Remember a horse is a grazer. One takes that choice away from them if close stalled. Horses are herd animals. One takes that choice away from them if closed stalled. One takes away what it means to be a horse by taking such actions.
Yes you are right they are grazers and are herd animals. But I have a barrel horse that doesn't like to go in the field ever and I have three Western Pleasure horses that don't ever go and field either. And three stallions. And a lot of other horses that prefer to stay inside 24/7. And some horses just stay in at night.
Someone needs to show them how to saddle a horse, the flank cinch is there for a reason! it shouldn´t be flapping in the breeze too where a hoof or boot can get caught in it!! The bucking can be due to a sore back.
What is with the ride them in a circle bit what idiot came up with that? I see it lots and it DOES NOT work more ground work and miles alone to work on any issues you have is the only thing that works.
Ese caballo lo puede quebrar a él,deverian venderlo a la empacadora un día va a dejar parapléjico al cowboy y el patrón lo va a dejar morir como un perro.
These horses didn't buck because of the spurs. They bucked because they got away with it. A firm hand and consistent riding will cure it. After all, horses are just like kids and need a firm, but fair, consistent hand.
These horses bucked because the cowboys knew what they were doing. It is a spoof video. If you watch every movement these guys are making, they are purposely causing the horses movements. Not a thing wrong with the horse(s)... Watch them closely and you can see what they do to get the movement.
"Spoof video" what does that even mean? Looks like a typical morning on a big ranch with a lot horses. It's easy to watch, and say how much better you could do with that horse. Bottom line the average horseman couldn't lead that horse to water.

I just love this video. I've watched it numerous times. Reminds me of my younger days when I looked forward to frosty mornings & humpy horses.
I got to laughing so hard when the second horse fired up that I had to restart the dang video! Lol
I know, that was pretty funny! I saw the chain reaction, laughed because I've been involved in the same situation.
No one will understand until they been there. At least no one had to take the walk of shame home!
