Thanks for your comments. I find that there are a number of classic novels available through KU that come with the audiobook as a bonus. Since I like to read while listening (it increases my reading speed and helps me keep focused on the page), this is a big plus for the service.
Some libraries will also let you borrow books that you can read through the Kindle service. Once you borrow from the library, their link will take you directly to your Amazon Kindle account.
I’ve used kindle unlimited for some time now. I work in my van during the day so I either can have Alexa read my book or my iPhone can read it also. I can go through several books in a month this way so it’s worth it to me. I also use hoopla and Libby for the books that may not be available yet for kindle unlimited. I believe that if you borrow a book and it leaves K/U, you still have that in your library to read. I always keep my full 20 checked out and just keep returning and borrowing. I have found several new authors and series through K/U
I'm going back and forth on the cost. I use my library a lot of ebooks but do love the fact you can get so many ebooks on kindle unlimited and some even come with the audiobook as well. I said I'd drop it after the new year but still not sure if I actually will. I need to do the price comparison you did to truly make up my mind I think. Thanks for the video.
The price comparison is definitely fun & helpful! Using the library to save is also key and I love when they have the free audiobook through KU too. I thought I would just try it for a few months too and found myself keeping my subscription so sounds like we’re in the same boat haha. Thanks for watching!
I am a 45 year white guy that reads mostly horror + suspense + nonfiction. It seems that unlimited is not really intended for those genres, as most are romance and dark fantasy geared towards women. Also, you can simply get titles from an actual library.
The thing is that kindle unlimited have mostly romance and dark romance books, that's nice. But I mostly read thrillers/horror books, and many japanese and korean authors. Many of the books on my tbr are not on KU, so it's not worth it in my case
Hiii! Love the video!! Unrelated to reading, but do you like your Oura ring? I'm thinking of getting one and wanted to hear others' opinions on it before purchasing! 🪱💜
This is soo helpful since I’m getting one for Christmas!

Love my kindle and kindle unlimited. I use my audible earned credit for new releases.
Me too! Love that! 🫶🫶

I don’t subscribe to kindle KU because I use Libby so my thoughts I can just borrow on Libby at no cost
