Thanks for this! Looking forward to trying this out. While I generally have no problem dealing with open world mobs using a power build, I keep dying to champions even in core tyria. Thought of switching to a condi build because I want to be able to walk away a little bit (to breathe lol) while still dealing damage
Did you end up trying the build? If so how'd you like it?
in case of gear and if they don't wanna WvW, people can also get the blade gear from verdant brink. Armor only though, but a full set and can choose stats.

I'm leveling with it (so only core ranger) but loving it. Sure, warhorn may be meta, but two daggers means all the CDs are hit by the recharge trait and all skills are worth pressing off cooldown. #3 is chef's kiss for bursting open world mobs but also to dismount, #3, then drop both traps while Quickness is still up makes me able to burst down big DE groups, like, 6-7 mobs with veterans thrown in.
Speaking of I'm happily soloing champions which is usually a laughable matter except I suck at it >_> Now all I need is 80 and Soulbeast.
Isn't the Weaponsmastery lock behind level 80 ?
@@Meiney100 No. At the time we could simply equip the wepaon, then some Anet intern decided to make it level 80. Even so we can enter the PvP lobby and equip the weapon.
At least it was so a few weeks ago when I was still playing GW2.
I was going to make a ranger to complete my set, so I built this (with a couple tweaks like warhorn & all celestial). Praise Melandru, it is strong! Those HoT HPs ain't got nothing!

for some reason celestials tend to be the cheapest sets in TP, sub 1g per item for most of them, with the exeptions of jewelry

Soulbeast and Reaper is my go to lazy farm specs
this is the build that i run ussually, if you don't mind pls do make some build for lazy mechanist lol i somehow love pet class
I'm waiting for the balance patch coming out in a week or so, and then I'm taking another look at ranger and mechanist, because it sounds like they will have a few more viable options!

I wonder if that can be used with the bow mainly first instead of the daggers as main. I am looking for a good bow build as I want to use a bow class
my guess would be to focus on the bleed duration when selecting sigils, and change the lifesteal on poison for something else?
i run full trailblazers on my ranger. massive condi damage that lasts a long time and very tanky

I've been looking into Mesmer for a little while. I have several builds that are close, but none that are close enough, yet. There are a few options that are really close, like Staff Mirage, but I'm doing some testing with dagger!

Warhorn is a way better option than off hand dagger. Arguably, one of the most important things to keep up in solo play is might, and warhorn does that, also fury up time. Only issue i really see with this so far.
Warhorn is great option for sure! The vulnerability on warhorn 4 is nice to have as well. It's harder to theme a dagger + warhorn as a blender though ;)
@PrettyBadAtGames nah not hard to theme, it's an og ranger weapon. Aragon and his horn of gondor if you will. Only dagger skills that matter are 2 and 3, quickness etc. We heal as one to share boons and duplicate them etc etc.
