Man, Sophia Smith's thing sure looks like an unintentional slip to me. She gets the ball for a teammate, then she isn't looking at the ball and it slips out of her hands, and then right away she goes and gets it. Looks like a mistake and not a deliberate time-wasting thing.

If they haven’t done this before.. putting someone on the team that may not deserve it I’d say yea makes sense and we wouldn’t be talking about it. There’s precedent ie Sue Bird. CC and the deep three and passes are exciting and has brought more eyes. You would use this to bring more eyes to the W. IMO. You need casual fans. The hate toward casual fans is weird. Like we need to be basketball purists to be able to watch and enjoy.

SOPHIA’S BALL INCIDENT WAS AN ACCIDENT. If anyone watches the videos of Sophia, the ball clearly slips from under her hand and rolls backward. There’s just some basic physics that you can see with her body motion, the way her hand comes down in front of the ball after it rolls backward, tells you she wasn’t pushing it back intentionally. For these women to sit here and shame Sophia like this, without having taken an educated look at the videos themselves, is just enraging. I feel so badly for Sophia.

I appreciate the factual take on this Clark issue. It's fake news and casual fans are so annoying. Girl, ain't ready and this isn't a popularity contest. Arike being left off the roster and not even an alternate is wild.
Also, I love the coverage of other types of women's sports. I definitely never think about the climbing community. Thanks for shedding some light on this group.

Agree with you, 100%. This isn't about popularity; it's about winning. The whining and moaning on and on about CC is exhausting. Had one casual tell me they should "modify the rules" so the defense isn't as intense and "more players" (aka only CC) could score. 😟 As if Arike ain't been losin' her mind! Besides many other players' ability to score, I had to remind dude that she is a defensive liability and has 70 TO's. Still he wasn't buying it. (smh)
Whatever... Anyway, glad to finally holla. I watch and can't comment, but trust, I totally get it. Keep up the good work. It's always appreciated. 😎

    Very good show
I was impressed with all the segments... Hopefully you can update us to why the GM to PWHL Minnesota got fired?
The segment about Sophie Smith getting her first red card is making me laugh lol
Talking like Sophie Smith is going to Jail
The last time that a red card was taken this seriously was when David Beckham got a red card in the World Cup..for kicking the opponent's leg. ( England was knocked out and David was getting death threats)
A Card is not that deep. Sophie would have apologised to Coach and team mates
    That should be good enough
But she can drop a message on Instagram or X to the supporters. Most will understand players will get yellow or red cards
It's part of the beautiful game
    Sophie is all good

The women running women’s basketball are saying they were too obtuse to realize they could accomplish two things at once
You can actually walk and chew gum at the same time
They could have won gold and grown women’s basketball at the same time
Sports is actually an entertainment business

Arike comment was misinformed if you have watched her play this year instead of seeing how many points she puts up. She shoots the biggest bricks in the game that make you cringe. Terrible shooting percentage
