You know it's kinda weird that orochimaru was looking for the totsuka sword but that was itachis susanoo weapon? Like what? How did he know about its existence if that an ability not an item? Or did itachi like put in on his susanoo like some rpg item?
Each susanoo is unique. Maybe itachi held so much power his susanoo was that much better? There could be such a blade that Orochimaru was hunting but Itachi was so strong his susanoo was just able to manifest the sword and shield.
The Kubikiribouchou regeneration ability isn't for restoring the blade, in case it breaks. It's actually to resharpen and restore blade chips, so that it is ALWAYS sharp. It is powerful, because it's 100% maintenance free and can be used forever. Kabutowari may have hidden ability that we don't know, just like how we didn't know Kubikiribouchou had blood regen ability for like 600 chapters.
I don't think the yata mirror is omni-directional. If that was the case, Itach would just whip it out every fight and be unbeatable. It has to have limits. Even itachi himself said every person has a weakness.
Considering old dude was about blind just from using amaterasu and tsukyomi sparingly(don't know if he ever practiced with his susanoo or how much if he did) I don't think so. He was knocking on deaths door anyways. He really did not have the stamina at all to use his susanoo. Idk if it was omni directional or nor but something you can't use for long won't make you unbeatable.

The way Jigen/Ishikki used the Chakra rods to block sauske's slice at his neck was INSANE - can't believe we didn't see PAIN or Madara use them for defense like that. Also would like to see a breakdown of the Chakra rods versus the truthseeker orbs

I remember that Sasukes kusanagi was just a "sister blade" to the real kusanagi sword, the real ones was in orochimaru possession and does all the cool stuff that it should be and it was even able to cut through lands. The one that Sasuke uses was to extend his shidori skills bc of the good Chakra affinity of the blade. That's why it was only able to cut through the executioner sword cuz of the raiton Chakra that need to be added to the sword to make it "sharper"
Kusinagi was a sword maker. Not all were imbued with the same powers. Maybe the one Sasuke held was made to help with lightning techniques.? Also it is Chidori. 1000 birds.

The two of most famous tales are the tale of the Gallant Jiraiya, and the tale of Susanoo. There’s others involving Takemikazuchi & Ōkuninushi etc.. (personally, I think Sasuke’s might’ve been the one Linked to Takemikazuchi because he’s a thunder God, and God of swords also possibly directly related to Susanoo.)

I'd argue that Kisame's blade (idk how to spell it's name) is the strongest due to its major versatility, assuming the user is fully capable of using its full potential. Not only does it cut its prey, it also shreds them to small pieces due to the sharp spikes. The sword itself is alive which makes the user a tag team duo. The strongest part if the sword is that it can steal chakra and feed some to the user, so assuming you fight a high level enemy with immense chakra, then the sword will steal their chakra and give you some to replenish, letting you cast more jutsu. It also gives you a badass transformation.

Also the transformation may be a thing exclusive to the Hoshigaki clan because it fits with their shark-like look

you underestimate the executioner sword, the most important characteristic of a sword is its edge, regular swords become dull and chip its edge in battles, a sword that repairs itself will never lose its edge
I mean I think the point that he was making in the video is that it's just a blade so it stays sharp and you don't have to maintain it but in the end it's just a blade where some of these other items are literally attacking your soul
It never losing it's edge still makes it inferior to the Kiba blades which also stay sharp, or the Kusanagi which is also super sharp. Hell, I'd argue it's worse than the mechanical path of pain, cause what is a sword gonna do against missiles?
I had a thought completely unrelated to this video. We know that combining the chakras of Indra and Ashura, in a small way, recreates the chakra of Hagoromo, unlocking a rinnegan. Based on that same principle, theoretically combining Hagoromo's and Hamura's chakra would then recreate Kaguya's chakra. So that could possibly unlock a rinne sharingan, right? To give an example. Sasuke gets a Hashirama cell arm, unlocks the rinnegan in his other eye, then replaces one eye with a byakugan. Maybe both eyes would transform, just the rinnegan transforms, or a third eye opens. Again, just a random thought I decided to put out there.

The gunbai is such a perfect weapon for the uchiha since it requires no conscious thought of what elemental nature it would turn the chakra into and since its wind the fire techniques that uchiha use would make it a deadly combination.

ABOUT OROCHIMARU: If soul is bound to DNA, (Edo Tensei needs DNA to ressurect), what would happens to identical twins (if both were dead), which soul would return to The edo tensei If DNA sample is the exact same? Maybe Orochi just implanted parts of his soul in the curse Mark, which already have the DNA too, so he would only need white zetsu playdoh to respawn. And then go after the rest in the shinigami belly. If he splitted his soul (like Voldemort Horcruxes), Itachi only sealed a part of it, and kabuto must've relesead other parts after consuming the sound 4. So orochimarus original soul would be fragmented, but any amount is enough to control a body mildly but he NEEDED his arms. Considering the got them back, the same happened with the parts from the sound 4 and kimimaru, he is only missing a bit from Itachi. Which makes sense that he is weaker, and different in Boruto, because not only he lost forever I big bite of his soul he put in sasuke and got sealed, but he cant achieve the same power from before. But keep in mind, if Mitsuki and Log are his clones (and other mitsuklings), either they are souless, or they have orochimaru's soul (same with Shin Uchiha). Great video. Loved having all the weapons listed and explained. I do believe however that the 3rd kazekage puppet was destroyed in the fight with Chiyo and Sakura, not passed on to Kankuro. I believe it was the Sasori puppet that Sasori entrusted to him.
Puppets as weapons weren't made a thing really until Shamon (2nd Kazekage) developed the technique. Passing the 10 puppets down through "the generations" isn't really possible because Chiyo and Shamon's lifetime aren't too far apart. Or at least I thought so.
The world of Naruto is too young and everyone has lived close together, nothing is passed for generations because everything is recent, the Leaf Village, the first one, only had 4 Kages at the start of the series, and the 3rd one was still alive.
If sword of totsuka can only seal 1 person at a time, wouldn’t that mean Orochimaru’s soul would have been freed since Itachi sealed Nagato with it during the war?
I have done some research and found nowhere in the internet where it says that the realm of drunken dreams can only hold one person, so he either said smth wrong or maybe someone can prove me wrong with a link. Until then, no orochimaro was never released from the realm, he is stuck with nagato...poor nagato.
i think what he meant is that if you were to hit two people at the same time or to close together timewise only the one who was (technically) hit first would be sealed. We see with Orochimaru that when the sword is sealing someone they are pulled down the full length of the blade into the gourd, it is not instantaneous. This part is just my headcanon but would make sense if the sword could only be in the act of sealing one person at a time because it takes time for the seal to complete. By extension this opens up the possibility that if for some reason the level of Itachi's Susanoo that wields the Sword of Totsuka is dispelled before the target has been fully pulled into the gourd they might be freed and Itachi would have to hit the target again to restart the sealing process.
I like Orochimaru's Sword of Kusanagi, reminds me of Gin Ichimaru's Zanpakto Shinsō, having the same cutting, expand & contraction ability as Orochi's, but I like Gin's more for its expand/contraction speed and poison abilities..

I understand what you are saying about orochimaro but if that was the case why was naruto able to speak with Minato when his soul was searching in the reaper death seal? I think it’s because only a portion of their soul was sealed, like Minato put part of his chakra into naruto and there was the curse marks that was pieces of orochimaro
technically any dulling is going to be due to damage assuming the sharpening wasnt considered damage. so really the ability is to stay sharp no matter what its hitting. Iron is actually fairly soft compared to a lot of metals used in weapons and a lot of the strength of the metal is going to be used up just holding itself together through the momentum.

The actual list of people who can use all nature releases naturally are: 1. Naruto 2. Sasuke 3. Hiruzen 4. Hashirama 5. Tobirama 6. and the old guy from Kara Kakashi has them through use of his Sharingan, Sakura only has Water and Earth (out of the main ones, she also has Yin and Yang), and Minato had Fire, Lightning, Wind, Yin, and Yang.
Question about the Yatta mirror. What would happen if someone were to hit it with multiple chakra types at once? Like could you hit it witha fireball and a water bullet at the same time? Could someone fast enough like Naruto or Minato hit it with one nature type, and then hit it with the opposite nature type faster than it can nullify the first to get an attack through the mirror? What about yin yang release, can it copy that? How bout sage infused attacks. I guess the main question I’m asking is if the mirror is limited to nullifying only one nature release at a time and is there a period of time between nullifications that a fast opponent could capitalize on
It does feel like somehow Itachi was able to put real artifacts into his Susano. Both his sword and shield were legendary. Orochimaru was seeking the sword and he was older than Itachi. Orochimaru seemed to think they were real artifacts.
Hammer has said this is older videos that their might be multiple totsuka blades similar to the multiple kusunagi. It’s also entirely possible that Itachi’s jutsu just has the properties of that blade so he and orochimaru gave it the name totsuka because of its similarities to the actual blade

I have a theory that orochimaru's curse mark works a lot like a horcrux in Harry Potter. Basically dark magic/jutsu used in conjunction with a human sacrifice. the 10% that survive this act like the horcrux within harry or nagini. That's why orchimaru is so dissociated by the time he fights hiruzen because he has actually split his soul into pieces. Which is why he's able to seemingly escape the realm of drunken dreams because it was only a piece of him that was sealed away. And the orchimaru we have now is much different in demeaner because he is a better part of himself.

My head canon/guess is that it can be inherited through susanoos so myths arose from it but it was always connected to the uchiha clan

The Executioner's blade main gimmick is useful to keep it sharp, making it the best one of the 7 swords for long combats

The Nubari (needle sword) was highly under utilized in Naruto and Boruto. It could be used to do so much cool creative sh*t.
Imagine a puppet user using it and then making the people they hit with it into puppets that they control with the chakra threads

I had a thought completely unrelated to this video. We know that combining the chakras of Indra and Ashura, in a small way, recreates the chakra of Hagoromo, unlocking a rinnegan. Based on that same principle, theoretically combining Hagoromo's and Hamura's chakra would then recreate Kaguya's chakra. So that could possibly unlock a rinne sharingan, right?
To give an example. Sasuke gets a Hashirama cell arm, unlocks the rinnegan in his other eye, then replaces one eye with a byakugan. Maybe both eyes would transform, just the rinnegan transforms, or a third eye opens.
Again, just a random thought I decided to put out there.

The gunbai is such a perfect weapon for the uchiha since it requires no conscious thought of what elemental nature it would turn the chakra into and since its wind the fire techniques that uchiha use would make it a deadly combination.

Isshiki does not have the Rinnegan. His unnamed Dojutsu also make use of Chakra Rods.

ABOUT OROCHIMARU:
If soul is bound to DNA, (Edo Tensei needs DNA to ressurect), what would happens to identical twins (if both were dead), which soul would return to The edo tensei If DNA sample is the exact same?
Maybe Orochi just implanted parts of his soul in the curse Mark, which already have the DNA too, so he would only need white zetsu playdoh to respawn. And then go after the rest in the shinigami belly. If he splitted his soul (like Voldemort Horcruxes), Itachi only sealed a part of it, and kabuto must've relesead other parts after consuming the sound 4.
So orochimarus original soul would be fragmented, but any amount is enough to control a body mildly but he NEEDED his arms. Considering the got them back, the same happened with the parts from the sound 4 and kimimaru, he is only missing a bit from Itachi. Which makes sense that he is weaker, and different in Boruto, because not only he lost forever I big bite of his soul he put in sasuke and got sealed, but he cant achieve the same power from before.
But keep in mind, if Mitsuki and Log are his clones (and other mitsuklings), either they are souless, or they have orochimaru's soul (same with Shin Uchiha).

Great video. Loved having all the weapons listed and explained. I do believe however that the 3rd kazekage puppet was destroyed in the fight with Chiyo and Sakura, not passed on to Kankuro. I believe it was the Sasori puppet that Sasori entrusted to him.

Puppets as weapons weren't made a thing really until Shamon (2nd Kazekage) developed the technique. Passing the 10 puppets down through "the generations" isn't really possible because Chiyo and Shamon's lifetime aren't too far apart. Or at least I thought so.
The world of Naruto is too young and everyone has lived close together, nothing is passed for generations because everything is recent, the Leaf Village, the first one, only had 4 Kages at the start of the series, and the 3rd one was still alive.

I have done some research and found nowhere in the internet where it says that the realm of drunken dreams can only hold one person, so he either said smth wrong or maybe someone can prove me wrong with a link.
Until then, no orochimaro was never released from the realm, he is stuck with nagato...poor nagato.

i think what he meant is that if you were to hit two people at the same time or to close together timewise only the one who was (technically) hit first would be sealed. We see with Orochimaru that when the sword is sealing someone they are pulled down the full length of the blade into the gourd, it is not instantaneous. This part is just my headcanon but would make sense if the sword could only be in the act of sealing one person at a time because it takes time for the seal to complete. By extension this opens up the possibility that if for some reason the level of Itachi's Susanoo that wields the Sword of Totsuka is dispelled before the target has been fully pulled into the gourd they might be freed and Itachi would have to hit the target again to restart the sealing process.
Orochimaru wasn't sealed, actually. He managed to turn into a small snake and escape but burned to death from amaterasu

I like Orochimaru's Sword of Kusanagi, reminds me of Gin Ichimaru's Zanpakto Shinsō, having the same cutting, expand & contraction ability as Orochi's, but I like Gin's more for its expand/contraction speed and poison abilities..

technically any dulling is going to be due to damage assuming the sharpening wasnt considered damage. so really the ability is to stay sharp no matter what its hitting. Iron is actually fairly soft compared to a lot of metals used in weapons and a lot of the strength of the metal is going to be used up just holding itself together through the momentum.

The world of drunken dreams is literally my own personal hell. Eternal nausea is worse than even the most horrific drawn out and immensely gruesome death.
I think the bits of orochimaru that remained inside of sasuke after itachi sealed him were molded by sasukes calming Chakra.
The actual list of people who can use all nature releases naturally are:
1. Naruto
2. Sasuke
3. Hiruzen
4. Hashirama
5. Tobirama
6. and the old guy from Kara
Kakashi has them through use of his Sharingan, Sakura only has Water and Earth (out of the main ones, she also has Yin and Yang), and Minato had Fire, Lightning, Wind, Yin, and Yang.
Question about the Yatta mirror. What would happen if someone were to hit it with multiple chakra types at once? Like could you hit it witha fireball and a water bullet at the same time? Could someone fast enough like Naruto or Minato hit it with one nature type, and then hit it with the opposite nature type faster than it can nullify the first to get an attack through the mirror? What about yin yang release, can it copy that? How bout sage infused attacks.
I guess the main question I’m asking is if the mirror is limited to nullifying only one nature release at a time and is there a period of time between nullifications that a fast opponent could capitalize on

It does feel like somehow Itachi was able to put real artifacts into his Susano. Both his sword and shield were legendary. Orochimaru was seeking the sword and he was older than Itachi. Orochimaru seemed to think they were real artifacts.
naruto isn't always consistent.
Hammer has said this is older videos that their might be multiple totsuka blades similar to the multiple kusunagi. It’s also entirely possible that Itachi’s jutsu just has the properties of that blade so he and orochimaru gave it the name totsuka because of its similarities to the actual blade
Orochimaru is pretty good at researching. It would be interesting if there is a way to give real objects to Susano.

I don't think anyone is gonna benefit more from the Seth The Progroomer fallout than NC. Dudes already a pretty cool guy (seemingly) and now I think he's the biggest Naruto UA-camr who wasn't involved in all the drama. I think NC and Swagkage are the best in the Naruto community imo
I have a theory that orochimaru's curse mark works a lot like a horcrux in Harry Potter. Basically dark magic/jutsu used in conjunction with a human sacrifice. the 10% that survive this act like the horcrux within harry or nagini. That's why orchimaru is so dissociated by the time he fights hiruzen because he has actually split his soul into pieces. Which is why he's able to seemingly escape the realm of drunken dreams because it was only a piece of him that was sealed away. And the orchimaru we have now is much different in demeaner because he is a better part of himself.
