I'm willing to argue that Sasuke didn't just lose against Killer Bee, all of Team Taka got completely stomped. Killer Bee treated that fight like a training session, used it as an excuse to take a vacation, and had zero problems. He could have continued and won that fight, but saw no reason to, as just causing a distraction and leaving had the same result.
Well if he had killed them A would've scoured the land for him but since Bee made it look like the Akatsuki nabbed him A was all focused on getting revenge against the Akatsuki which allowed Bee to roam freely for a while (until Obito let it slip they didn't actually get him...to which A immediately realized what Bee was doing)
I know he could've won but that wasn't a fair fight. Why would Kishimoto pit a new born ms Sasuke against THE LITERAL 8 TAILS+A HIGH KAGE LVL NINJA?! All the fights of Sasuke are called plot armour because Kishimoto pits him against people stronger. I don't get it. Why would he do that?

The entire point of Gaara vs Deidara was that Gaara was way stronger. Deidara won because he out smarted Gaara. The C3 bomb was mostly irrelevant to Gaaras Defeat. Gaara lost because he used his special sand to attack. Deidara figured that out and sacrificed his arm to it almost intentionally in order to secretly mix in C1 clay into it. The C3 bomb was purely a distraction to launch a 2nd C1 attack that was also purely meant to force Gaara to pull his special sand back into his defense, thus trapping him inside the sand sphere with the C1 chakra bombs he had mixed in. Gaara didn't sacrifice his defense at all, Deidara turned Gaaras defense into his own attack.
absolutely 10000 percent correct.. deidara was a genius which is why he hated the uchiha because he felt insecure about the genius of itachi who was actually a polymath, like sasuke
I don't think I'd count a Kage protecting their village from annihilation as outsmarting him really... a Kages while job is to protect the village 0utting Gaara in an obvious situation he has no other option in isn't outsmarting him its manipulating the situation in the easiest brain dead way to pull off a win. Tbh that shouldn't even have been enough for Gaara to lose.
@lucario2able Read the comment again. The outsmarting isn't in threatening the village, it's in mixing in explosive clay in Gaara's sand and then forcing him to use that sand for protection. It's one of the smartest (and most logical) tactics you actually get to see in Naruto.
What? Gaara fought in the most advantageous terrain (fuckload of sand) and deidara turned his homefield against him (c3). The only time gaara tagged him, deidara used it to infuse his clay and counter attack. Not to mention there was explicit exposition in the beginning where sasori said he didn't think deidara was bringing enough clay. I know you stan gaara from season 1, but even with the home field advantage and the help of the entire sand village, deidara still came out on top

Sasuke surviving against the 5 Kage was plot Armour too. Zetsu being able to restore his Chakra so he could fight longer was the first part, then ofc Obito saving him from the Particle style

I don't think many view Sasuke as the winner against either Itachi or Killer Bee. Itachi wanted to lose, and did exactly as he planned, so he won. Killer Bee didn't run out of fear, but rather figured that Sasuke had pulled enough shenanigans to pretend he lost. That's it. So yeah, he didn't deserve to win them... and he didn't.

But yeah most people I know understand that Sasuke lost that fight against Killer Bee as most people I know understand Naruto lost to Pain before Kurama bailed him out for round 2 against an uber fatiged Pain. Regardless, both of them were about 16 years old going up against some of the shows most powerful characters. Them winning isn't too realistic since they weren't ultra god mode characters like Itachi or Minato, Madara, Hashirama etc and still had to work very hard to gain their power. Plot closed the gap and eventually by the end of the show they were touted as the reincarnations god mode characters so eventually got to that level all before adulthood.

Nah, I feel like Deidara definitely outsmarted Gaara and made him think it would be beneath him to use such underhanded tricks. Plus, he had it coming when Deidara launched an attack, in Gaara's home field. Deidara didn't move the fight away from the village, and made sure he could attack Sunagakure, if he ever needed to divert Gaara's defense. It was a very viable strategy on his part, considering his opponent had one of the stronger defenses in all of Naruto. At surface level, sure you could call it a bad trope. But if you stack up things like a character's pride, their skill set, and their morals, it's not that bad of a trope in certain situations. It just needs to be handled well. And no, he could not have had backup if you consider him saying he wanted to do the deed alone.
NCH: Deidara used underhanded tactics and exploited a sentimental weakness to beat Gaara and thats lazy writing >:( Also NCH: Sasori just gave up for some inexplicable sentimental reason and Sakura is best girl 10/10 fight LMAO, no plot armor here.
I dont get it why he calls it bad writing, its in my opinion on the contrary. Deidara planned the fight to have an advantage of hostages, it is battle IQ move.
I'm like 99% sure that the reason the Sasuke/Deidara fight ended the way it did is because Kishimoto wanted to kill off Manda and that was just the method he settled on. If Sasuke had still had access to Manda summoning once he got Susano'o, Kishimoto would have had to come up with some kind of B.S. about why Sasuke couldn't make Turbo Mecha Snake 9000 with it the way he and Naruto do with Kurama and it would've been even more of a plot hole.
Didn't Manda just get replaced with Aoda anyway as part of the New 3 Way Deadlock? Manda wasn't exactly a reasonable summoning, demanding human sacrifices for usage in fights, which was probably why he needed to die so that Kabuto could use a better version of him right before the war. Although I admit it would have been funny if Manda was a reanimation instead of a clone when he was attacking the island turtle.
manda isn't a tailed beast, you can't do turbo mecha snake 9000 with him. i mean, you could slap on the susanoo armor, but he wouldn't be powerful enough to deal any real damage. finally, manda was far more likely to join with madara than to fight against him, remember, this is the same bastard that wants human sacrifices.
Neji if anything proves the hard work mentality pays off as well. Dude mastered many of his clans techniques on his own. He had no mentor since his father died and guy, though being a good sensei, clearly had a favorite Shukaku would have come out in the fight with kimimaru if needed
Garaa was never able to control shikaku and couldn't release him on command. His mental instability was necessary for the shikaku to slip out of the sealing he was under while garaa was unconscious.
Here’s one I expected to be on the list: Konan vs. Obito. This woman with a little prep time actually kinda spat on the most powerful Akatsuki member. She found a way to fully circumvent Kamui. She had every right to come out victorious and Kishimoto just kinda said “uhhhhhh nah sis lmao” and I’m still malding over it.
It would be actually cool that Obito was actually real Madara and defeated by Konan at that moment. We wouldn't be forced to see 4th Shinobi War, Kaguya etc. and see earlier and better finale.
Tbh I always felt that naruto was really weak even after his training with Jiraiya. I believe this was done purely so that so that naruto does not get too strong against Sasuke when we meets him for the first time in Shippuden. I mean naruto didn't even know his primary chakra nature until shippuden and the only thing I believe naruto learned in those two years is to make his rasengan bigger and that too exhausted him to the point that they had to take a break. Just sharing my thoughts.
Naruto still lacked the basics so Jiraiya had to bring him up to par in that, I do agree with you about Naruto should've learned that he had wind release while with Jiraiya
Naruto was so bad as a Ninja mostly everything Jiraiya taught to him was just the basics of what he needed to know. Naruto by all accounts was just a bad ninja carried by his birth and Kurama. We can't even say he got better at using his chakra because they gave up on trying to make him a better jinjuriki halfway through. He should have at least learned he HAD wind release before he returned to the village but imo I just think Jiraiya is an awful teacher in general.
Jiraiya wasn't focus on teaching Naruto techniques, but chakra control. This was done because he planned to teach Naruto to control Kurama's chakra by purposely unsealing it. But after he almost killed him, Jiraiya scrap that and focus on teaching him how to develop his fighting style more effectively.
Yeah naruto at that point was this goofy hyperactive kid that no one in the village took seriously, but if you pay close attention hes been a beast and was stronger than neji when they fought. He just never had flashy ninjutsu like other characters, but hes an uzamaki and a jinchuriki and just been knocking fools out
I've always felt like Naruto didn't use summons against Sasuke because it was personal for him and he was arrogant. He thought he had to bring Sasuke back alone which creates an irony that I love because he does that as he preaches about gaining power from your friends. That's just head canon though
I always saw it as naruto being hell bent on bringing sasuke back. Naruto wasn’t thinking clearly and thought bring him back at all cost. You’re explaining made a lot more sense.
Sakura + gran v Sasori is one of my favorite in all of Shippuden and the fact that people think that fight shouldn't have ended the way it did is a shame, that fight is what I wish other fights in the show were more like. I would make an argument that Kimimaru using that giant bone forest technique was incredibly chakra taxing and using while weakened from illness caused him to die from fatigue, he just wasn’t used to fighting limited. Sasori was fighting against two insanely powerful fighters and it would have been a tough fight no mater what but, he could have won. But he did NOT win from plot armor. Here is how I see it. Early on we are introduced to Sasori and Deidara debating their philosophies about art. Sasori sees art as something that lasts, it's one of the reasons he made is own body into a puppet. I think the love for his parents was the same and never really ended. Lady Chiyo even said he could have dodge her last attack but he didn't. I think, in the end, he wanted to be immortalized along side his parents in a sad but beautiful piece of art. The stage for this final piece of art? A battlefield, the same place his parent died. The only other performer who could pull it off? His dear Granny. I see the whole fight as a final performance, as beautiful and sick as it is, to immortalize the love he had for his parents.
How you see it? Homie everyone knew sasori was holding back is feats overwhelms grandma and sakura combined...would it have been easy no but it would be not difficult either
This is a sad sad fight, and emotion is both strength and weakness. I see no plot armor here, but a beautifully crafted story about loss, grief & family.
To be fair, a direct punch to the chin has been known knock out an opponent which *could* *be* what Kishimoto was going for. I think the real plot armour is that the judge should've declared Neji the winner far sooner instead of giving Naruto time to dig a tunnel.
To be fair, he even gave time for Naruto to give that speech about how he was bad with the Clone Jutsu while Neji was down lol So if Neji got up during that time he could've had the fight continue lol

You obviously didn’t watch the Gaara vs Deidara fight, Gaara was still protected by his sand, when Deidaras arm was ripped off by the sand he let small bombs into that sand which was part of the shield. The big bomb was a distraction to get a bomb close enough to him for the sand with the bombs to come back and shield him meaning it he blows it up inside with him. He definitely was out smarted by deidara
Deidara DOES kind of outsmart Gaara, he got him with a double diversion. He had little mite sized bombs in his hand when Gaara took his arm and so he hit two birds with one stone with the C-3 bomb in the village by A, making Gaara use a huge amount of Chakra making a sand barrier for the village and that being the diversion for his fast bird. That which then made him divert his own sand back into his defense which he then made moot with his sand mites getting inside it and detonating inside his sand sphere. It was actually very clever and he came up with the plan on the fly when Gaara attached his sand to his arm. So, gotta politely agree to disagree on that one.
That's not outsmarting gaara. That's using circumstances to his advantage. It's not that he outsmarted gaara, he just did something that he knew would force gaara to react. Gaara didn't make a mistake because he didn't have any real choice in the situation. Whereas, if they weren't in the village, deidara couldn't have resorted to the same tactic. So what he said in the video is still spot on.
@@shorewall This is absolutely by definition a case of plot armor but my comments actual main point had nothing to do with plot armor. My whole point was that Deidara doesn't defeat Gaara in a straight up one v one where both are just aiming to kill eachother. Yes, deidara found a way to beat gaara in the circumstances given but that doesn't mean that deidara is the stronger character or even that he somehow outsmarted gaara himself. I think for a lot of people, they more loosely refer to plot armor as anytime a more powerful character loses to a less powerful character in order to move the plot forward. And honestly, I don't necessarily think that's an incorrect view of things but thats more an oversimplified answer to the question of "what is plot armor" than an answer for the "why is something considered plot armor" which I think is more important. If the plot needs for one person to beat the other then that is by definition plot armor. The plot needed Deidara to beat Gaara somehow to establish the Akatsuki's mission and their strength/ability to accomplish said mission. Thus, the fight took place in conditions that allowed for Deidara to accomplish this. I do think this is a rather cheesy thing to do though, the whole story is the plot and the events that happened are just what happened. It's like reading a biography of a president and claiming plot armor is the only reason he won an election. I think plot armor only matters when discussing the strength of individual characters and their feats because in those debates the plot/circumstances absolutely matter. People who whine about plot armor just because their favorite character died or lost is lame. Sasori demonstrated an impressive level of ability to be able to get Deidara into the sand village and Deidara showed a level of cunning to find a way to defeat and capture a more powerful opponent, that's all that happened here.
@@DeadSezSo No, plot armor is exclusively referring to the case of a character who by all rights should have lost, wins because either one or many things just happen to help them without any prior foreshadowing or with seemingly little to no cause. The term plot armor is used to describe an extra set of defenses that a character literally does not actually have, but occur anyway to shoehorn in a plot relevant event. Deidara beating Gaara was not plot armor. It was established that Akatsuki are willing to directly enter villages for the Jinchuuriki. It was established that they are composed of rogue s-class ninja and that Deidara especially is considered a terrorist. The fight happened in a set of events that flowed and made sense, and Deidara prepared backup strats before the fight, and forced Gaara onto the backfoot, needing to react to Deidara's actions. No asspulls, no external influences appearing in the nick of time to assist one side, nothing like that. It was plot, but there was no armor to be found. Gaara is the stronger combatant, but the terrain and initiative put the ball in Deidara's court. It was one of the few PERFECT examples of a well written fight in Naruto.
Gotta disagree, it doesn't take much brain power to use the village of the village protector as a chip in combat while fighting directly over said village. It takes literally no brain power to think of that. The mini bombs yes otherwise no.
At 11:40. I think the reason Naruto didn't summon one of the toads is because their contract is one of respect. Naruto fighting Sasuke at the time was more of a personal desire than a necessity. The toads always give the summoner at least a little bit of crap for summoning them but always hold up their end of the deal. I think the only thing they want in return for their power is respect for themselves and their sacred teachings.
NCHammer needs to stop making videos that revolve around fights. Educational videos are more his thing. He’s terrible at scaling like by far the worst I’ve seen. Kimimaro was not stronger than Gaara during that entire fight Gaara took zero damage. Whereas Gaara managed to defend against all of Kimimaro’s attacks, and damage him significantly prior to him regenerating similarly to Itachi it was communicated Kimimaro had an illness, and it was commented on by Orochimaru/Kabuto that he shouldn’t even have been capable of moving. Naruto did not scale anywhere near Sasuke in their first Final Valley fight. After going through the ritual Sasuke gained greater control over the Curse Mark, and got a massive boost to his strength a boost so large in fact his base was stronger than his Curse Mark One state in the Chunin Exams. The anime version of the Final Valley fight made it seem way closer than it was in the manga. In the manga version Sasuke was dogging Naruto in base, and after entered KM0 (the red eyes transformation before he gets a chakra cloak) he was dogging him with his three Tomoe Sharingan. Naruto couldn’t summon Gamabunta at will. At that point the only time Naruto could summon Gamabunta was in strenuous circumstances like when he was thrown off that cliff, or when he was mentally amped during the Gaara fight.
Something else he forgot is that Naruto used or couldve used(im not sure if he did but im positive) Shadow clones to accellerate his learning progress for the sage jutsu. You can imagine how quickly he was able to catch up to Jiraya...

Hashirama was also a goofball, he probably thought "Shit, this guy's almost as tough as me 😂 I'll let him have this one. I get what he's doing but he can't win." Because it wasn't the village Kakuzu was after, it was Hashirama himself.
Neji was out of chakra and had deactivated his Byakugan because he was so low on chakra, so his low chakra explains both why he wasn't able to see Naruto underground and why it took one punch to knock him out.

I don't think Deidara threatening the village is a bad trope, it highlights the duty Gaara has as Kazekage and is why in most of Boruto Naruto and Sasuke aren't going all out especially at their level of power
You know what’s funny? The way you say that Naruto’s fight with Neji should have turned out? It already happened in his fight with Hinata. Hinata Vs. Neji was literally the fight you were describing. She put up a greater fight against Neji and as a result Neji was kinda shaken by the fact that Hinata not only persevered but continued to defy “Fate”. I honestly don’t mind that Naruto won, I think it would have made more sense if Naruto landed more hits beforehand + ended it when he had the Kurama chakra. Him one-shoting Neji with Nine Tails Chakra is much more believable than doing it in base form.
Well Neji was exhausted after fighting against Naruto with Kurama chakra and he had his Byakugan deactivated so he didn't know Naruto was underground plus the hits you don't see coming hurt the most
I don’t have a problem with the knockout punch - any boxer can tell you that the most powerful knockout punch is a complete blindside, which is exactly what hit Neji. But it’s quite the stretch that Naruto wasn’t totally paralyzed by Neji before that happened
My theory on why Naruto didn't summon Gamabunta is that he was totally focused on Sasuke and regarded their fight as being strictly between the two of them. As a result, the thought of summoning Gamabunta - or any other toad for that matter - never occurred to him. In addition, Kurama was taking the opportunity to lend Naruto his power for his own reasons and may well have interfered with any idea of a summoning to make Naruto even more relient on him.
That and the fact that Gamabunta at the time doesnt actually listen to Naruto. He would have told Naruo hes not going to fight sasuke for him. Only reason he fought Garaa was because Gamakichi and the other toad were there and would have gotten killed by Shukaku

Honestly with Naruto not summoning Gamabunta i think it was a matter of pride, his whole life through school he was working to best sasuke, and while Naruto’s feats bested Sasukes throughout the show I strongly think Naruto was letting his emotions get the better of him, and thought he had to win on his own, he had to best Sasuke by himself. I could be wrong but that was my take
I think gama would be ineffective against a small fast target like Sasuke, and Naruto doesn't want to kill Sasuke but Sasuke would be more than happy to injure a giant frog, and the giant frog probably wouldn't want to hold back either. And would kurama be able to replenish the chakra in time for Naruto to use his full strength like he presumably did with the cloak
@@pumkin610 lol, no. Gamabunta who can jump like hundred of meters and shoot house size water cannon is not effective against small size target? 😂 especially a pre shippuuden Sasuke? Sasuke didn’t even have his three tomoes back at the start of the fight. He literally pull out two surprise power ups on top of Naruto not going full power right off the bat already proved his plot armor is mountain size in that fight. Orochimaru should have been there or Kabuto should have been there to save his ass. But I guess having a rival show off and the final clash were kinda cool. But in term of logic and plot, Sasuke straight up winning with plot armor in that fight.
It was actually Minato who appeared to fix Naruto's seal when Kurama was about to get out with the 8 tails formed. Minato designed the seal to have his chakra in it when it was about to break, but for Kushina to appear when Naruto opened it willingly so she could assist him with getting Kurama's chakra.
Fr, tho. Sasuke absolutely had the most intense plot armor. I'm thinking back to the five kage submit rn, and sasuke got fucking bodied by all the kage in a nice neat line, and hot saved by Obito nearly every time. Even against danzo LOL 💀
Sasuke and Naruto had about the same amount of plot armor in shippuden. A lot of people misunderstand moments to claim that Sasuke has more plot armor than he actually has. Like the deidara fight as well as Karin and jugo (his teammates lol) healing him. Nick is one of these people lol
@@yourbifriendaspen3629 LMAO Sasuke did get washed like the dishes after a light meal (extremely easy/fast) but he completed his task. He lost the fight to win the war😂🤣 he made it to danzo and won
The people of the hidden leaf knew about Naruto and Nagato / rinne rebirth because of the piece of lady Katsuyu that was with Naruto. She tells us that she was relaying all of what was happening back to the villagers. There were hundreds of Katsuyu pieces and pretty much every key player in the hidden leaf was with/near one so it makes plenty of sense how everyone knew by the time Naruto got back
Madara's plot armour is so strong that after he bullshit his way through 5 kages/Senju/8th gate Guy/Minato/Tsunade/Sasuke and Naruto/2000 random ninjas he still manages to stay out of a list like this, dodge even out of the anime losses that he should have.

I'm more curious how Naruto dug that hole with just his hands. Also, Minato sealed his own chakra to fix the seal on Naruto. He sealed Kushina's chakra for when Naruto tried to gain control of Kurama's chakra.
7:59, imagine if Kimimaro had sensed Sasuke being in danger and used this moment to sub out for a skeleton clone, and all that was left in the Sand Coffin/Sand Burial was a skeleton, that disintegrates and Kimimaro heads off to help Sasuke. Then we could have Kakashi pull up and fight him, but Sasuke and Kimimaro get away, with Orochimaru having a new body
Wasn't the whole argument in the Sasori fight the fact that he literally had a technique that only Chiyo could block sacrificing one arm, and instead of doing that two more times he decides to start attacking the in a way that's ever so conveniently perfect for Sakura to block? Because I don't remember that they said anywhere that he couldn't have done the machine gun thing more than once
Exactly. Sasori should have 100% won the fight. And I don't really understand how Deidara using dirty methods ist lazy writing but saying sasori was a depressive boi and wanted to die isn't.
One should not forget that just after that confrontation they used their "final" blow on each other with neji spinning which uses an immense amount of chakra to fend off naruto's kyubi chakra blow he was exhausted and just managed to stand up disoriented and without the byakugan as he didn't have enough chakra to whistand it. Naruto just hit him when he was completely depleted. You glossed over this whole part of the fight ... The punch might have been a bit light, but not as bad as you portrayed it

I'm pretty sure it's implied that Neji was tapped out of chakra in the chunin fight. It wasn't that he missed seeing Naruto, his Byakugan deactivated with no chakra left, and it's also the reason he was completely paralyzed. It had nothing to do with Naruto uppercutting him on his Mike Tyson ish
That's still plot armor cause Naruto was given infinite chakra. It would be like fighting a zombie and having every weapon that would destroy its brains removed from u.
It has something to do with uppercut punch! I mean his *off guard,* right? I agree neji's byakugan was deactivate~ the guy in the vid probably didn't know that, plus being punch uppercut off guard can make you paralyze temporary😊
@@arcguardian what are you talking about? he literally used kurama to refill his chakra. obviously if kurama links his chakra to naruto he has infinite chakra. has nothing to do with plot armor since we knew about that infinite chakra lose control thingy since episode 1.
I think the attempted nuking of Suna to get Gaara off his guard makes perfect sense from a tactical perspective. Where I think the plot armor comes into play is with the ploy that leads into. The C3 nuke was supposedly intended to force Gaara to move all of the desert sand he was controlling into a position too far to use in a snap defense, to force him to use his personal sand that he'd previously crushed Deidara's arm with, and that Deidara had seeded with his clay. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with this. However, Deidara's hand was caught by the sand in the middle of evasive action. He wasn't in an offensive mindset at the time, so there's no reason to believe he had his hand shoved in his clay pouch during the far-off shot of the chase. His hand certainly isn't anywhere near his pouch in the brief moment of the close-up shot before his arm is seized, so where'd the clay come from? If he could make the clay in his hand-mouths there'd be no reason to carry it externally, and certainly no reason to keep complaining about running low. Are we supposed to believe that any kind of earthen element turns into that paste-white explosive clay when he eats it with one of his hand-mouths and infuses it with his chakra? Was that ever established?
It's head cannony but it could be as simple as he can keep a small portion in his hand mouths for short periods of time during fights, but that just like with real clay you don't want to over soften it and ruin the final product. Also, you wouldn't want to go all the time with the taste of clay in your mouth.
To explain further: Deidara has a Kekkai Genkai, his Chakra has explosive properties. (This is mentioned in a video from this guy that ranks all Kekkai Genkai.) He then stole a Kinjutsu, which let's him make clay out of his chakra from the Mouths on his body. I think that clay has all the properties that Deidara's clay has except the explosive nature of it. With the clay made from the explosive chakra instead of normal chakra or standard elemental chakra it makes his Clay Explosive.
Deidara has to keep clay in his hand-mouths (hate saying that lol, ew) for a while to chew before he can spit something out of them that has shape, at least at that point. It’s safe to assume there was clay in his hands pretty much every second he wasn’t spitting something out of them. So it’s really not a stretch that he had clay in his hand when it got taken off, we’ve seen before in other battles that he always seems to have at least a small explosive ready to toss and it wouldn’t take a ton of clay to make those spider explosives that did in Gaara.
I'd say the Sakura v Sasori fight is only unjustified in the sense that if both groups were going 100% most feel like Sasori wins, but he was kind of intentionally sandbagging because mental nerf so he intended to lose (he created the plot armor). Same reason as Itachi v Sasuke.
IF Sasori had used the iron sand properly as needles coated in poison repeatedly. Chiyo and Sakura would have been put on a t-shirt. He kept using giant cubes like an idiot. Solely so that Sakura could touch the sand without being poisoned.
Though I can see why Sakura won, it definitely left quite a sour taste in my mouth the first time i saw it. Sasori falling for Sakura being on the ground after not receiving any noticeable damage outside of being poisoned is stupid. She could've been stabbed 30 timed from a safe distance. Also it did felt kid of stupid for Sasori to have a technique that is simply a bunch of the most basic puppets when he could've put all that time and effort into making 15 super jacked puppets that could've gotten all of his attention instead of being divided into 100 of them.
In Sasukes battle with Daidara, the main issue is Sasukes chakra consumption expenditure. He's almost always got the sharingan activated, uses the curse mark released state, most if not all of his attacks are using a change in chakra nature, he uses several chidori, and by the end of the fight, summons Manda, reactivates his sharingan and places him under genjutsu.
Well the truth is deidara never stood a chance agasint sasuke in the first place. Sasuke was severely holding back the entire fight while diedara was using his most deadly abilities trying to kill Sasuke. That's why no one believes in the plot armor excuse except people that hate sasuke. If Sasuke wanted to no diff diedara he simply one shots with kirin and goes about his day lol.
The Uchiha have large reserves of chalkra compared to most and Sasuke is really good at Chalkra control. The curse mark also boosts the amount chalkra he has. It's an inferior version of sage mode.
@@justthefacts6902 He literally uses more chakra in this fight than he does later in his fight with itachi and is bone dry by the end of it. Based on his own feats and motivations there's no reason for him to be more motivated against daidara than itachi. The whole point of kirin was that he could use very little chakra once he was out to control and shape a lot of naturally occurring lightning. He used everything he had at the time to beat itachi. And that's somehow less than what he ended up using against daidara if you stay consistent with how much chakra each jutsu should use. Sasuke should be better at casting fire style jutsu over his lighting as it's actually what he's better with, and he uses more lightning style against daidera.
@@ezramiller8936 sasuke really doesn't use much chakra in his fight with diedara. It's never stated much chakra sasukes different chidori variations take from him. Nor is it ever even stated by sasuke that he's low on chakra in the entire fight. However the lighting style that Sasuke used on diedara was extremely weak, and was only used to paralyze diedara. Sasuke never once used his lightning style in an attempt to end deidaras life. Which brings me to what really matters about this fight. Diedara literally never stood a chance against sasuke since sasuke had already analyzed deidara's jutsu at the start of the fight. When diedara comes to this realization after sasuke explains it to him, it literally causes deidara to rage quit life. On top of the fact that he knew sasuke was still holding back jutsu. This win was by no means a "plot armor victory" sasuke claps diedara any, and every possible way. If he wants diedara dead than the fight is a straight up no diff. If your upset about sasuke surviving deidara's suicide attempt that's fine, but that wasn't by any means plot armor either. Sasuke literally explains how he escaped deidaras suicide bomb. This is further explained in the manga. Sasuke and manda initially took the force of the explosion, BUT reverse summoned to another location afterwards. Nchammer makes it seem like manda just sat there and tanked the entirety of the explosion. Which I'm sure he knows is false, but since he hates sasuke so much, he withheld the manga version of that fight to push his "plot armor" narrative. Some people will argue sasuke isn't fast enough to do this. However i assure you that HE IS. Sasuke's speed has been being extremely exaggerated since the start of Shippuden. Team 7 note that he's extremely fast. And the entire fight with diedara was only a game of cat and mouse because diedara and tobi state that Sasuke is way too fast to fight close combat. Even as Sasuke is dodging diedara's bombs diedara is amazed by how fast sasuke is. In his fight with itachi sasuke is seen literally out running amaterasu. Moral of the story sasuke was by far the fastest character in the series before the raikage's introduction. He was definitely fast enough to escape deidaras explosion. And lastly the "out of chakra" argument is the weakest argument of all since the only statements we get about sasukes chakra from deidara. DEIDARA stated that Sasuke has to be low on chakra in an attempt to comfort himself. He tries to say the last of sasukes chakra must be in his chidori lol. Sasuke never once states that he's low on chakra. Your trying to measure sasukes chakra reserves with some headcannon formula from his battles in the series. But the fact is we don't have any clue how much chakra sasuke had at the end of his fight with diedara. You have to understand the differnce between wanting a character to die, and plot armor lol. 100% of fans know full well Sasuke easily claps diedara. Everyone is just pissed that Sasuke didn't die. Probably because diedara shat on Kakashi and naruto. Then sasuke proceeds to solo deidara with another akatski member assisting him low diff.
For the Gaara and Lee fight I'm pretty sure Lee was still very much recovering and shouldn't have been out of the hospital but Gaara doesn't really have much of an excuse. The only thing would be that his bloodlust is gone but idk if that's worse or better at that time. K was just a beast tho.
In all fairness, the whiskered form of Naruto had crazy physical strength for that era, so if he got Neji with a clean headshot using the strength that punched Haku through his own ice mirrors and held back one of Orochimaru's giant snakes, I wouldn't be surprised if it OHKO'd him.
And one should not forget that just after that confrontation they used their "final" blow on each other with neji spinning which uses an immense amount of chakra to fend off naruto's kyubi chakra blow he was exhausted and just managed to stand up disoriented and without the byakugan as he didn't have enough chakra to whistand it. Naruto just hit him when he was completely depleted.

In Narutopedia it says “Sasuke summoned Manda and used his Sharingan to cast a genjutsu on the great serpent so he can jump to Ryūchi Cave inside of Manda.” I’m not sure if Narutopedia is a viable source but maybe that can explain how Sasuke was able to survive Deidra’s C-Zero.

Man, lately YT was recommending me some other Naruto lore channels and I've got to say the quality gap between you and them was enormous. Even if I don't agree with your takes, you argument them properly, and I can always see where you are coming from, and then there are dudes who unironically doubt kisame might be kage level and in the same sentence say that TenTen of all poeple is though, or that deidara wipes the floor with Jiraya no discussion.... In other words, good job and keep it up, your videos are always interesting and well researched. No pointless tiers and clickbaits.
I really didn’t like this video people he kind of just- repeated word for word what happens during the fight INCLUDING an entire explanation on how and why the results weren’t plot armor but then proceeded to say it was plot armor Like someone using the exact correct formula on a test and but still getting the wrong answer
Another thing you conveniently missed was that Katsuyu protected the villagers from Shinra Tensei so they all actually witnessed the fight between Pain and Naruto. The Rene rebirth brought back the few people that were killed during the battle
Naruto summoning Gamabunta would essentially be Naruto admitting he’s weaker than Sasuke and calling his dad in to break up the fight. And Gamabunta might act like a real life dad and say “fight your own battles”
Listen… I agree the Naruto/Neji fight has some holes in it but it was obvious Nejis byakugan wasn’t activated at the end of the fight because of exhaustion so he couldn’t have detected naruto underground. Also it was Naruto’s destiny to continue the cycle of Indra/Ashura that had been going on but he ended that so technically he DID defy destiny. Aside from that I agree that once Neji hit the chakra points it should’ve probably been game over for our little blonde ninja.
But there is no way neji chakra pool was that small. His fight against Kidomaru show us neji in all his glory as he expended far more chakra here than against naruto.
He may have defied the cycle of hatred, but still Neji was right. Not just anyone becomes hokage. Only special people. And Naruto proved to be more than special. Son of the 4th hokage, god re incarnation, child of prophecy, the nine tails jinjuriki. He was anything but the underdog who became strong with hard work. Don't get me wrong, I don't say he didn't need practice, but still he had all the criteria for success compare to Rock Lee for example --the real underdog-- who had literally nothing and never even achieved his goal to beat Neji..
Great vid! I think for Naruto not calling Gama is probably his pride that he wanted to be the one to stop Sasuke and not relying on a summon or anyone else to help him. It was about him reaching out to Sasuke and proving it by himself. Also yeah the Gaara trope is common, but I guess it does show that Gaara has grown so much and learned to love the village instead of resenting it and it was huge for his growth.
Kakazu fight with Naruto is one that I would put in the same list as Sasori, both feel like the result should be the other way, but actually on those fights there is enough build up and backstory to justify the upset, specific to Kakazu he had been fighting against Kakashi and the rest of the team for a while and as you mention he was not well rested from the start, so I would say that this one has even less plot armor than Sasori against Sakura and his grandma
Sakura won with no plot armor she had the antidote and lady cheou and she won with extreme high difficulty not to mention that sasori killed him self no plot armor was there
@@skarlet0735 as I said, enough build up and backstory to justify what would be in other case an upset, I'm pointing that the battle of Kakazu is in the same category, not saying that the other one was plot armor
Look I dont like sasuke either and it’s insane that he managed to get manda there in time, but I can believe manda protecting him from the explosion because: Remember that Itachi needed to use amaterasu to escape from gamabounta stomach, can’t we assume that manda’s snakeskin scales are at least comparable in strength and could shield Sasuke even if the shockwave kills manda?
I mostly agree with you, but I will say that based on what Deidara did to Isobu and the island turtle (which the stronger Manda 2 needed help with) I still think that if Saskue tried to use Manda to knock Deidara out of the sky Manda would've been killed by C2 missiles quite easily.
THANK YOU for defending the Sakura and Chiyo fight. Out of all the fights in Naruto it still boggles my mind how that fight gets mentioned so much. It's like people underestimate Chiyo and Sakura
The fight with Neiji and Naruto was definently one of the biggest plot armor battles. But the fight with Sasori is also a plot armor battle. Sasori LITERALLY stopped using Iron sand bullets for Sakura to keep hitting big blocks for 10 min. straight to make her look cool. That all it needs to be said.
Just confirmed it. Neji exhausted all of his chakra after that last attack counter with naruto. The rotation takes up a lot of chakra, so after he did that he was so weak his eyes were deactivated and that’s why he couldn’t see naruto. He let his guard down assuming he won as he saw naruto laying down and got knocked out with Naruto’s last attack. Naruto’s stamina even surpasses sauskes at the second valley of the end fight. He had been fighting for like two days straight already with training prior to coming in the war and was using shadow Kcm 1 clones in the war after fight kaguya and all and still beat sauske. His normal chakra pool from his uzamaki side is greater than sauskes. That’s why Madara lost to hashirama on there last battle. Very similar way. Madara was just one step ahead when he activated it on the last moments of the fight. He knew hashirama was still stronger than him
For the Neji fight, I assume that Neji was so focused on the unconscious Naruto right in front of him, waiting to see if he somehow managed to get up again, that he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. As for why Naruto won the fight, I think it was more that Neji let him have the victory while he mulled over what they had discussed...
yeah his Byakugan was off. We saw the veins disappear from his face, which means the Byakugan was off. The fight was harder than expected and Neji, who isn't used to long fights, was kinda tired at this point. Also he got careless, because he could not fathom a stupid loser like Naruto pulling a last strategy on him.

About Kakuzu VS Naruto: as a maritial artist myself, I can confirm that surprising someone with an attack even once can totally be enough to swing the fight. Shenanigans of that sort will each only work once at most and are not as worthwhile as genuine training which yields consistent results. I find it refreshing to have a show where a tricky element to it is welcome rathar than it all boiling down to power, and Naruto is a great character to embody a more playful approach to combat. I don't think its out of character, or plot armor for him to win this way, its sort of his whole thing. His enemies are warned he'll use clones to distract them and hit them with a big attack, and it works anyway. He even tried a Reverse Harem Jutsu on Kaguya and it sort of worked! So yeah, he's good at surprises and unpredictability, its just his thing
still doesn't make sense. He should be one shot by Hashirama then? Rasenshuriken wouldn't put a scratch on Hashirama who fought Madara and kyuubi. He literally took out kyuubi who looked like a baby doll in the first minute of the fight. Then they fought for what? Days maybe.
@@justinwatson7778so this Kakuzu fought a sage mode, wood style Hashirama that beat rinnegan wood style maybe even Juubidara (can't remember) and somehow let Kakuzu go? Why. That argument might work for MADARA BUT NOT KAKUZU!
How do you sneak up on a guy with a blaring propeller in your hand? On an open feild. He's a veteran ninja. Fighting clones and tricks is standard. Naruto is the weird 1 for just rushing everyone with numbers. He was extremely nerfed
19:03 while it is true that its weird that manda would respond to Sasuke’s call that quickly, and this fight is a deux ex machina, i think I can explain it. If you look at Manda’s eye when suigetsu summons him, he has the tomoe of the sharingan. This means what probably happened was Sasuke summoned him, and Manda thinking that he was Orochimaru (since Sasuke had absorbed him), rushed to come save him. Afterwards Sasuke probably put Manda under genjutsu to force Manda to help him. While this is not the best explanation, I thought I should mention it since I thought it was kinda cool. 😊
I'm surprised you didn't mention Conan in the Naruto vs Pain fight. I find it hard to believe she wouldn't interfere at any point. If you wana say she's so defensive of nagato she wouldn't leave the tree to go help the paths that's fine, but when Naruto showed up why did she not jump him? Just stood there like a good brain dead pet and do nothing
My dude she was about to and Nagato told her not to. And when Naruto fought the pains she didn’t show up cuz after the Almighty push she told Nagato thru the deva path that she was going to the tree to safe guard him
2 things that I noticed….I believe Neji deactivated his byakugan because he believed the fight was over (if I recall the anime correctly), and 2. Naruto thought it was unfair that Kiba brought Akamaru into a fight against him, so maybe he didn’t want to do the same against Sasuke. He didn’t want any “outside” help.
Having some martial arts experience, I can tell you that there's a HUGE difference in being hit by a punch you are aware of, and one you're not. You see it it combat sports all the time. The attack that knocks you out is the one you don't see coming.
True, but it's an anime where a kid magically sprung out of the ground after having access to infinite chakra. If Naruto missed he'd just repeat till Neji passed out. Either way it's plot armor.
My take on this 1. The neji v naruto is alright. Naruto is an uzumaki and has kurama so even with the damage he received it still allows him to be able to move around after neji's 8 triagram. His byakugan also uses a lot of charka and puts tension on his body quite a lot that's why after their final collision, he can actually barely stand which is why he got 1 hit ko. 2. Kimmimaro's disease is already at it's final stages and using his abilities shortens his life span drastically and after surviving gaara's strongest move and putting all his chakra in his final attack will surely kill him. For me he actually got the plot armor by surviving that attack since his body is already withering with the disease. 3. Deidara actually won by outsmarting gaara. See even if u feel that's wrong, he definetly used his advantage on gaara by using his village to let his guard down and infused his sand that he used to break off his arm with c1 so that when gaara used that to cover and block his attack, he will get caught by it. 4. Juubito actually used wood style and he used it by creating 4 tailed bombs and the divine tree. 5. Naruto at that point was stronger than sasuke, and it was evident throughout the fight until he absorbed all the power of 9 tailed beast, then he whooped naruto all over the place, that's when naruto gathered an enormous amount of nature energy to manifest his strongest avatar at that point to match sasuke's susanoo so it's completely even and there's no plot armor as they used everything in their arsenal.
I agree with your Kimimaro take, people always say Lee and Gaara survived off of plot but like you said Kimimaro should've died sooner due to already being sick and over using his Kekkei Genkai
Gotta disagree with 1. Neji was a much more skilled ninja than Naruto by that point in the story. Naruto simply tanking his chakra system getting targeted like that already felt forced to me. But sure, he being able to tap into Kurama's strenght is fine (the Uzumaki chakra reserve definitely wasn't a thing this early tho). But above all else, Neji getting oneshot when he spent most of the fight managing to counter Naruto moves with ease felt sooo forced. Even if the Byakugan drains the user, he should still have energy left from being able to evade a lot of physical damage. It genuinely felt Naruto didn't win the fight out of hardwork or strategy. He won because the plot just needed him to win. And the true is that even if he lost, the message wouldn't change.
I don't think the tactic Deidara used against Gaara should have worked tbh. The little clay animals being able to get through his ultimate defense is so weird because Gaaras ultimate defense isn't dependant on his perception, his momma is not letting anything through that shield. It's weird to me that she let the bombs through Unless those clay things have more piercing power than the raikages guillotine drop kick Still Deidara would have won by using those Air particle bombs, don't see Gaara countering that
Just a few things in defence of the Naruto-Neji fight. The clash between 0-cloak Naruto and Neji caused heavy damage in both the Genin, something Naruto was able to tank better because of his body and because he was still somewhat protected by Chakra. Meaning, Neji was already on his power reserves and one punch was enough to take him down. And also, it explains why Neji was not able to see Naruto underground. While the Byakugan can see through material, it can only do so when activated. We see that, whenever a Hyuuga tries to see through anything, they have to intentionally activate their eyes. But because Neji was already out of chakra and was sure that Naruto was defeated, he had his eyes deactivated, which also shows Neji's cocky nature.
Everyone likes to mention how Sasuke had plot armor because his squad was by his side to assist him, but that’s quite literally what a squad is for, to have your back. Sasuke was intelligent enough to have Karin (a healer) Jugo (offense) and Suigetsu (Both offense and defense. Keep in mind that he also held back a tailed beast, but not just any, the eight tails.) I don’t really understand how that’s plot armor if they were established far before the Sasuke and Bee fight took place. Now if they suddenly came out of nowhere to save him at the very last second with no prior mentioning THAT would be a plot armor asspull.
More to the point Sasuke and his crew straight up lost that fight entirely. Killa knew how to use his tailed beast charaka cloak to just sloth off amateratsu he literally faked his defeat just he'd have cover to go on vacation.
Great video as always. I wanted to ask if I may; would you do a video covering how Hiruzen defeated not just ED Tobirama but Hashirama as well? Was making Hashirama the "God of Shinobi" a retcon?
Honestly the Sasuke vs Deidara is probably one of my favorite fights up until C-0 / Manda plot armor. C4 was absolutely nuts and it should've been Deidara's ultimate. Sasuke finding a way to beat that was amazing and it should've been the end with Sasuke finishing him off with his sword or chidori doesn't matter.
True. While C-0 was cool in concept (someone who can perfectly control bombs, turning into a bomb as a desperation move just… makes sense, and we already know that Deidara likes to play dirty from his fight with Gaara), the way Sasuke survived that attack was just… no. We already established that Sasuke‘s electricity can deactivate Deidara‘s bombs, so why not do something with that? Could’ve even made for a surprise return of Kirin (though I doubt that Sasuke would’ve been able to perform it in time). Even then, anything would’ve been better than: - them standing around for a solid 30 seconds, talking - Sasuke staring at Deidara as he explains how he‘s about to blow up - Sasuke still doing absolutely nothing until… - actual milliseconds before the explosion, somehow performing an extremely time and chakra expensive technique in time for Manda (a notoriously finicky summon) to coil around him and perfectly shield him from an, that erased an entire countryside I feel like Kishimoto just remembered one day that Sasuke still had Manda, so he shoehorned a way in for Manda to die.
@Rudolf Hillers everything about/around Deidara seems… weird for some reason. Like… - he is the only character who was able to *make himself immune to genjutsu* without needing a sharingan/byakugan - although he received an infinitely regenerating body through Edo Tensei, Kabuto didn’t even think about having Deidara just spam the C-0 to single-handedly win the war - C-0 being an incredibly chakra-intensive move… which just so happens to be his „desperation move“ - C-0 not being able to kill Manda/Sasuke despite it erasing an entire countryside - just… the general way Sasuke survived C-0 It feels like Kishimoto accidentally made Deidara too strong for his liking, so he scrambled to find some way to get rid off him (along with Manda). Same can be said about a surprising amount of Akatsuki members. Nagato got talk-no-jutsu‘ed into sacrificing himself. Konan got completely bs‘ed out of a victory against the single most a**pull-ey character in Naruto history. Itachi was one of the only characters in Naruto history to suffer/die from chakra disease. Sasori and Kisame committed [**CENSORED**]. White Zetsu was made into fodder. Black Zetsu got written out of the story by turning him into the „secret, true 100% final boss!!!“. And Obito technically got talk-no-jutsu‘ed as well. (Also, dude? What IS that username+pfp combo?!)
@Rudolf Hillers I actually really like Naruto as a story. It‘s themes and characters can be quite captivating at times (although there certainly are times where it does stumble like with how it treats it‘s side characters + Sakura, or how the entirety of Konoha + Kakashi got revived after the Pain fight). It‘s just that the world-building got… a bit off the rails once Shippuden came around. With most battles turning into giant mecha/kaiju fights, Sasuke‘s unimaginable plot armor (look at his fights against Danzo/the Five Kage, Deidara or Killer Bee for example), and Naruto not only being the child of two of the strongest people in history, but also having the second strongest tailed beast sealed inside of him while being a literal descendant of *GOD* (and he also literally became Ninja Jesus, bringing Guy back from the brink of death). Not to mention how every other character just spams these so-called „forbidden jutsu“ as if their life depended on it… even the Hokages, the characters who DECIDE what should and shouldn’t be a forbidden jutsu (examples: Naruto uses Shadow Clones and the Rasenshuriken; Tobirama created Edo Tensei and the Mutually Multiplying Exploding Tags; Minato and Hiruzen use the Reaper Death Seal; Tsunade uses the Hundred Healings/Seals). And then there’s also the fact that the supposed „strongest clan in Konoha“ got completely sidelined right after Neji‘s fight with the spider dude in OG Naruto ended. I could mention a lot more things, but that would just be a waste of time. In general, I‘m able to ignore issues when it comes to world-building if it is done for the sake of the story
@@KeDe1606 we've actually seen a moment where Sasuke didn't need prep. There's 1 condition one) if there's no storm make a storm using fire style. And if there's a storm he can instantly make it. It’s not like Sasuke‘s a total stranger to awful decisions…
That's.... Literally what Deidara did. The reason Gaara lost wasn't because he used too much chakra, but when he crushed Deidara's arm with his sand, Deidara used his clay to explode on Gaara once the sand returned. Deidara allowed his hand to be crushed so he could trick Gaara into a false security.
One you've forgotten to mention: Sasuke vs Danzō Shimura. Bro held back because he thought he was fighting 'Madara' after, Kotoamatsukami was recharging after using it during the Summit, and bro even used his plot armor to escape a paralysis seal. Still, Sasuke was barely alive at the end while Obito and Karin had to save his life multiple times throughout the fight. He got SUPER lucky.
Neji vs. Kidomaro was pretty stupid too ngl... They gave Neji such an op move that he doesn't even need to touch you to gentle fist all of your points somehow while at the same time, Kidomaro uses NATURE ENERGY which wouldn't get blocked by the gentle fist and wouldn't let him die!
What the ? Jyuken or gentle fist allow the user to hit your internal organ. The thing that keep you alive. There is no counter play against that. A hit on the heart/brain/lungs is all it take to finish someone. Did you even watched the neji vs hinata fight ?
@@notforyou2893 But in the Neji vs Naruto fight, since the Nine tails chakra came from an alternative source, it basically allowed Naruto to more or less negate the effects of his blocked chakra points. When Kidomaro uses the curse mark, he draws nature energy from the surroundings and thus it should act similarly to what Naruto could do with his Nine tails chakra
Killer Bee vs the Edgy Teens is one of my favorite anime fights excepting how it ended: a bunch of self-important, arrogant teenagers pull up on a grown man and get bodied. I am definitely biased, though, since I ADORE when there are powerful "randos" in a story. It makes the world seem so much more alive when side characters are allowed to be just as extraordinary as the main cast. Obviously the story is about the main cast, but letting the side characters shine adds so much more than them standing around watching the MC do things
the reason manda protected sasuke was because sasuke used genjutsu on him to trick him into it weather he had enough time or chakra to be able to do that (he didn’t) is another story
Killer Bee is a giga-chad for doing that. Made them look like chumps hilariously. Made everyone look like chumps.

@lucario2able
Read the comment again. The outsmarting isn't in threatening the village, it's in mixing in explosive clay in Gaara's sand and then forcing him to use that sand for protection. It's one of the smartest (and most logical) tactics you actually get to see in Naruto.
Indeed, Deidara was weaker than Gaara but still won because of his smart tactics. That’s the best and most satisfying kind of fights.

NCH: Deidara used underhanded tactics and exploited a sentimental weakness to beat Gaara and thats lazy writing >:(
Also NCH: Sasori just gave up for some inexplicable sentimental reason and Sakura is best girl 10/10 fight LMAO, no plot armor here.
He does that, even though Madara did have a turbo Mecha tailed beast
Manda isn’t that strong tho…
He’s not even 1 tails level ☠️ so no- Kishimoto didn’t need a reason to get rid of him
Didn't Manda just get replaced with Aoda anyway as part of the New 3 Way Deadlock? Manda wasn't exactly a reasonable summoning, demanding human sacrifices for usage in fights, which was probably why he needed to die so that Kabuto could use a better version of him right before the war. Although I admit it would have been funny if Manda was a reanimation instead of a clone when he was attacking the island turtle.
But Sasuke gets a hawk summoning later on and another summoning in Aoda
manda isn't a tailed beast, you can't do turbo mecha snake 9000 with him. i mean, you could slap on the susanoo armor, but he wouldn't be powerful enough to deal any real damage. finally, manda was far more likely to join with madara than to fight against him, remember, this is the same bastard that wants human sacrifices.

Just sharing my thoughts.
he is not so strong because he had bad fundamentals due to kurama interfering with his chacra if not he would have been way stronger
I like that . That’s probably true because later during the war arc. Itachi had to tell him to stop trying to do everything on his own .

That's fucked up, but it's also so fucking funny. "Hey, this would be a funny place to die. Let's throw the fight."

To be fair, he even gave time for Naruto to give that speech about how he was bad with the Clone Jutsu while Neji was down lol

@@DeadSezSo But that's not plot armor. Saying that if things were different, the fight would go differently is redundant. Gaara lost fair and square.
Is Naruto even in right state of to even summon the toads I interpret that naruto with cloak was raging out and not thinking straight
I also think that Naruto completely forgot about Summoning. He was in a high stress scenario.

He did hit Neji with nine tails and Neji barely got up from that
Well Neji was exhausted after fighting against Naruto with Kurama chakra and he had his Byakugan deactivated so he didn't know Naruto was underground plus the hits you don't see coming hurt the most
Neji got blasted by a rotation backlash explosion and was damaged. I would still argue he went down a lil easy.
my thoughts exactly, every word. but great video none the less.
NC also forgets that though he was able to summon Gamabunta it is very hard for him to.
That and the fact that Gamabunta at the time doesnt actually listen to Naruto. He would have told Naruo hes not going to fight sasuke for him. Only reason he fought Garaa was because Gamakichi and the other toad were there and would have gotten killed by Shukaku
Next to plot armor keeping Sasuke alive fighting Killer Bee, I was waiting to see him attacking the Kages at the Summit. That never sat right with me that their little group could go there and cause such an uproar and make it out like they did. They should've been severely injured if not killed.
Think about it tho. Sasuke came into the fight completely clueless when his own bf is a jinchuriki. Why would he use genjutsu against Bee? Why turn his back against him? Why fight 1 sword with an 8 sword user? Why not go serious from the getgo and have your team jump him instead of just having a sword clash? Why didn't he train his ms he just learnt about ms genjutsu that's how new born he was with ms. Why use lightning against a lightning user? No ametarasu, no kagetsuchi he was SOOOO unprepared he was made to lose here. In fact he's always thrown into fights he can't win and made to win thru methods that make sense yet people are mad. Like yes he fought against Bee but imagine a Sasuke from the kage summit or ems Sasuke then what? It's good that Sasuke got his fade run. It's good that he USED HIS TEAM like let them have a purpopse LET THEM BE USEFUL FOR ONCE!? Idk why people are MAD he lost HE LOST yes I get it Bee wasn't going all out and he escaped anyway and Sasuke nearly died like 3-4 times so why are people talking about this. Look at Pain's fight in comparison.
Kage summit it was supposed to be hidden but White Zetsu outed Sasuke and his team. Maybe Obito wanted to push Sasuke's limits so he could awaken his susanoo stages. Also Obito was there how would they kill him. Remember he was also watching Sasuke fight Danzo too.
I could be wrong but that was my take
If you relook at the fight there are moments were Naruto could seriously injure saskue (like when he grabs his headband instead of just punching him)
I think gama would be ineffective against a small fast target like Sasuke, and Naruto doesn't want to kill Sasuke but Sasuke would be more than happy to injure a giant frog, and the giant frog probably wouldn't want to hold back either. And would kurama be able to replenish the chakra in time for Naruto to use his full strength like he presumably did with the cloak

To explain further:
Deidara has a Kekkai Genkai, his Chakra has explosive properties. (This is mentioned in a video from this guy that ranks all Kekkai Genkai.)
He then stole a Kinjutsu, which let's him make clay out of his chakra from the Mouths on his body.
I absolutely hated the reincarnation concept. Literally ruined naruto being special by his own means.
Well Sakura At that Time was Also Holding back Cause She wax Fighting with 30% Of her Chakra Rest She was Storing For her Byakugo Seal
most likely? nah he wins 10/10 times

Ooh, yeah Gaara definitely should have taken Deidara easily lol.

Not to mention to this point, has Neji actually taken physical damage in a fight before? A Perfect defense means you don’t get hit. If you don’t get hit you have a low pain tolerance. Naruto knocked him out bc he’s got a glass jaw

Haku had Naruto and Saskue in the crystal ice mirrors. ( I don’t need to get in details we’ve all seen the fight.)
If Haku was bloodthirsty, in the crystal ice mirrors, Naruto franchise would’ve been over right there.
Sasuke never would’ve got his revenge and Sakura would never get as much hate as she does, because she would have been deleted as well.
Team seven/7 would have been deleted.
I usually read Narutopedia but I didn't know it said Sasuke went to the Ryuchi Cave inside Manda

Naruto summoning Gamabunta would essentially be Naruto admitting he’s weaker than Sasuke and calling his dad in to break up the fight. And Gamabunta might act like a real life dad and say “fight your own battles”
It would be incredible if that happened
"Naruto/Neji fight has some holes in" yeah, a big hole that Naruto dug.

Konohamaru beating more than 1 Pain by himself as a little kid made no sense to me 😅
Kakazu fight with Naruto is one that I would put in the same list as Sasori, both feel like the result should be the other way, but actually on those fights there is enough build up and backstory to justify the upset, specific to Kakazu he had been fighting against Kakashi and the rest of the team for a while and as you mention he was not well rested from the start, so I would say that this one has even less plot armor than Sasori against Sakura and his grandma

It was the stone toad not gamabounta
I mostly agree with you, but I will say that based on what Deidara did to Isobu and the island turtle (which the stronger Manda 2 needed help with) I still think that if Saskue tried to use Manda to knock Deidara out of the sky Manda would've been killed by C2 missiles quite easily.
Yeah that was the only point I had a problem with.
Manda is not comparable to the Stone Toad’s stomach in durability 😂
But ur missing the point that the fight shouldn't have even come to that. Neji sealed Naruto's chakra, and then Naruto got infinite plot chakra...

amaterasu and everything related to the 9 tails is just plot convenience. It's OP whenever it needs to be in any way it's needed to be.

2 things that I noticed….I believe Neji deactivated his byakugan because he believed the fight was over (if I recall the anime correctly), and 2.
@@arcguardianIf that Byakugan was on that is.
My take on this
Kimimaro was on plot armor the second he got off the machine keeping him alive. “I’m moving using the power of my mind” he told Tayuya, okay buddy
Juubito didn't use Wood Release. That was him manifesting the Ten-Tails and having it transform into the Shinju.
I don't think the tactic Deidara used against Gaara should have worked tbh. The little clay animals being able to get through his ultimate defense is so weird because Gaaras ultimate defense isn't dependant on his perception, his momma is not letting anything through that shield. It's weird to me that she let the bombs through
Unless those clay things have more piercing power than the raikages guillotine drop kick
Still Deidara would have won by using those Air particle bombs, don't see Gaara countering that
Just a few things in defence of the Naruto-Neji fight.
Naruto had infinite chakra, it was plot armor neji couldn't win despite the fact he magically shoved Naruto in the ground.
Their bizarre loyalty to him* is the plot armor.

Even then, anything would’ve been better than:
- them standing around for a solid 30 seconds, talking
- Sasuke staring at Deidara as he explains how he‘s about to blow up
- Sasuke still doing absolutely nothing until…
- actual milliseconds before the explosion, somehow performing an extremely time and chakra expensive technique in time for Manda (a notoriously finicky summon) to coil around him and perfectly shield him from an, that erased an entire countryside
I feel like Kishimoto just remembered one day that Sasuke still had Manda, so he shoehorned a way in for Manda to die.
@Rudolf Hillers everything about/around Deidara seems… weird for some reason. Like…
- he is the only character who was able to *make himself immune to genjutsu* without needing a sharingan/byakugan
- although he received an infinitely regenerating body through Edo Tensei, Kabuto didn’t even think about having Deidara just spam the C-0 to single-handedly win the war
- C-0 being an incredibly chakra-intensive move… which just so happens to be his „desperation move“
- C-0 not being able to kill Manda/Sasuke despite it erasing an entire countryside
- just… the general way Sasuke survived C-0
It feels like Kishimoto accidentally made Deidara too strong for his liking, so he scrambled to find some way to get rid off him (along with Manda).

@@HassanAhmed-rf9xr I do believe that having a storm is necessary for Kirin to be used, but I also believe that Sasuke might be able to „summon“ a storm if need be, at the cost of more chakra. Like, I don’t believe that during his confrontation with Team 7, that he‘d be stupid enough not to notice that there is no storm nearby. But who knows.
Also, bad writing?? Yet you'd sacrifice the development and growth of Gaara for the fight to be more interesting.
I love the Killer Bee fight. It honestly doesn’t get talked about enough. And it’s the only fight that we see Bee using that 🔥 sword technique
Plot Armour was Sasuke's signature technique.
RDCWORLD1 said it best. Everything Sasuke does is with plot armor
19:20 yeeeah, when I watched that and saw Sasuke survive, I called bùĺlshit!
@@yanntal954 cursed mark isn't an alternate chakra pool.
The cursed mark eat the user chakra for increased performance.
Also It was almost a draw in the end rather than a win, Kidomaru died but Neji also collapsed and would have died if he wasnt healed
Also the Obito's nerfs contradict each other.
He doesn't have enough chakra to use the rennigan but has too much chakra to warp around with Kamui.
Neji has a glass jaw. Neji is such a genius he blocks diverts all attacks he has never been hit before
