Honestly, this is the best Naruto iceberg I've seen so far. Most icebergs I've searched are either too basic or just straight up memes. This is the first iceberg that actually includes some legit Naruto theories/unanswered questions. Although there's a room to grow, would've been cool to see a part 2 or something like that.
It's strange that up to this date no one ever tried to make a definitive Naruto iceberg despite all the popularity. We have a giant Dragon Ball iceberg, I believe Naruto universe also have huge iceberg potential
Idk about that tbh it's not really a mystery it's just a plot point that kishimoto forgot/simply didn't explain which as the series progressed and power system and mechanics changed turned into plot holes.... I'm a one piece fan myself so if I'm quite reliable with this shit, oda sensei does this thing too and a lot more than any other mangaka I've seen, he tries solving one mystery and gives rise to multiple other but then he revisits the things in the latest chapters or atleast the community doesn't let him forget and constantly keeps brings up past things at instances like sbs which eventually get answered or are drawn by oda in the main story. The one thing kishimoto did wrong was that he abandoned a character one his role in the series was over and this is like 90% of the characters in series can't even remember if the akatsuki members were ever revisited after being decimated, those guys were literally the main antagonist for almost 70 percent of the series. Infact as i mentioned, we never even heard of hidan after he was trapped in the hole Edit- As i mentioned earlier oda never forgets his characters oda has started playing his pieces, first vivi, then wapol who was the most unexpected and now we have Dory and brogy returning to the series and in the latest chapter 1109 we finally get to know the name of icebergs personal secretary she's just a random fkin character but we have still been following her story since 2016 or something, she has appeared at very few instances up until now prolly like 3-4 times, infact 99% of the community is unaware of her but oda still cared of bringing her back and even giving her a name now.
@omkar0455 Oda is built different. He is writing a ASOIAF (the Game of Thrones adapted) novels on a week by week basis. Bleach and Naruto are also good for being just long running though. It’s also interesting like the improv mangaka do, like Dressrosa- 7 Warlords of the Sea + 11 members of Worst generation (a huge feat since that was last minute)- and it became imo the best arc at the time of its release.
About the girl Itachi put under genjutsu to distract Jiraiya. Seeing as Jiraiya manages Konoha’s global information network as a kind of one man CIA, and as it’s his job to research information on Akatsuki, it’s likely that Jiraiya knows that Itachi is a double agent, and that Itachi is his main source of information on Akatsuki. If anyone other than Hiruzen or Danzo would know, it’d be Jiraiya. So Jiraiya is only pretending to hit on the girl in front of Naruto, whereas in actuality, Itachi is controlling her in order to report to Jiraiya about Akatsuki’s plans. Having her tell him something like “right now Kisame and I are en route to your hotel room to capture Naruto. Kisame thinks I put this girl under genjutsu to lure you away and leave Naruto unguarded.” This explains why Jiraiya brings the unconscious girl with him, so that he could pretend that Itachi successfully distracted him with his genjutsu as to not blow Itachi’s cover.
Orochimaru's outfit - I think the only explanation is that in-universe Orochimaru is a fashion icon. The Kusa-nin showed up to the exams imitating a look he pioneered several years prior. This is further supported by how the sound five + Sasuke copy his look. This is clearly voluntary, as team dosu, Kabuto, and the konoha crush background-nin do not do so, and it is clearly exceptional, as we don't see similar imitation in other villages. The fourth raikage has an equally distinctive belt, and nobody in his village copies it, presumably because most of them don't think he's cool (as shown on page by team Samui's complaints). People see Orochimaru looking cool with his giant purple rope belt, and they think, "I want a piece of that" in a way they just don't with any other character.
The real reason for Orochimaru to make the sound village, was to was to settle a place to brand his snake fashion. Sasuke was recruited as his new idol. If an Uchiha wear your collection, you can start printing money.
@@fellowkrieger457 like a fashion designer finding models 😂. In universe itachi was seen as true art by even diedera, and girls love sasuke. Orochimaru saw that in them.
4:06 i don't want to be a science nerd, but yes basically cells lose some DNA every time they divide, so they have useless genes called telomeres at the end of each chromosome; once those run out/are all lost (after about 50 divisions I think) the cell can't divide anymore because it doesn't have all its DNA and it'll die. thank you for coming to my tedtalk
@@AK-MS27 ovas are also filler. Theyre episodes that usually have nothing to do with the main story. Anything that doesnt move the story forward or isnt in the manga is filler.
@@djspit8929 Fillers are those episodes which are non-canon in the 720 episodes of Naruto. An OVA isn't made to " fill " something, it's just done for fun and everyone knows it isn't serious.
I always thought it was the same mysterious sickness that was killing Itachi, Kimimaro, Hayate, Sai's brother Shin, Ameyuri Ringo and a few others that suffered from it and figured it might be a rare regional sickness seeing as they are either leaf or mist ninja
For Madera breaking out of Edo Tensei: There's a theory that prodigious chakra vision is Madara's Mangekyou sharingan ability. We've seen him identify jutsu before they're even used by looking at people molding their chakra, identify shadow clones, and stuff like that. That could tell us how he was able to analyze Edo Tensei well enough to counter it.
Tobirama also spammed the jutsu during the Uchiha and senju war just watch the bastard do it boom know how to counter it anyone with the knowledge and Sharingan should be able to do that I personally like the time manipulations like a weaker Urashiki eye as Mangekyou are just weaker in some way Rinnegan Justus to fodder fire shit as Rinnegan focuses on time space and the manipulations of it that is how limbo is formed and Kamui already shows proof of ms having same style of abilities just weaker in ways like actually having counters or having limits so a theoretical ms ability that allows you to reverse a second and has a few second cool down timer would be op Madara would get two of these and explain how he survived a full day against a sage Hashirama that just violated his Sussanoo clad nine tails like it was a stuffed animal
I'm pretty sure that Tobirama didn't die to Kinkaku and Ginkaku 1. When the brothers get revived, they suspect that Tobirama revived the two. This wouldn't make sense if they killed him. 2. Tobirama died to the "Kinkaku force," a branch of the cloud military; however, the Raikage says that Kinkaku and Ginkaku are criminals. This means that the Kinkaku force likely is a force made to kill Kinkaku rather than one lead by him.
I am pretty sure the brothers mentioned themselves that they killed him. The only ninja they know able to perform this technique is Tobirama, so they mention him. Probably the kinkaku force used to be an official group by the time they were official ninjas of the cloud. But it got dismantled afterwars. There is no reason for the cloud to keep a name like that for a unit if they were already shameful criminals for the Cloud. And if they were still alive and not criminal already, then they were in this unit (because that's just completely logic). There are only 2 possibilities either they were alive and in it, or they were cast out/dead and the group got dismantled.
I wouldn’t be surprised after the second Raikage death the Cloud Nation fell into “civil war” with each faction fighting for power which is how the brothers died. I would also consider if the Leaf funded a mercenary group to go after the brothers too.
I have seen the second argument many times and I don't think It makes much sense, why would you name an unit made to hunt down a criminal after that very same criminal? If anything, it would be named by the lines of "Kinkaku hunting force". Not to mention, why would a force made to hunt down the brothers be attacking Tobirama and his squad? Shouldn't they be focusing on killing the two shinobi that wield the Sage of Six Paths tools, fragments of Kurama's chakra and that tried to kill the raikage not long ago?
I don’t know why people don’t talk about this more. It completely explains the girl Itachi put under genjutsu to distract Jiraiya. Seeing as Jiraiya manages Konoha’s global information network as a kind of one man CIA, and as it’s his job to research information on Akatsuki, it’s likely that Jiraiya knows that Itachi is a double agent, and that Itachi is his main source of information on Akatsuki. @@virgo6890 In Boruto, during the time-travel section- Jiraiya just casually sussed out Sasuke’s identity- and just played it off as a joke the whole time - and at the end, Jiraiya straight up asks Sasuske to wipe their memories, because he knows he could do that. When Sasuke clicks on his Sharingan, Jiraiya just smugly grins at him as he gets wiped. Jiraiya honestly had a fantastic poker game. It makes you wonder if a lot more of his bumbling silliness was literally just an act. It also seems Kakashi probably learned most of that from him, because Adult Kakashi is a watered-down Jiraiya in almost every way - including the “fake” goofiness when he’s actually completely in the zone underneath it. It would explain how Kakashi goes from Brooding Sad Boy Anbu to goofball but actually serious super ninja between prequel era and part 1. MF had his own Jiraiya training… read some books… kept reading some books….. books…. books
I think for a few things yeah but most of whats fun is the powerscaling. I would LOOVE to see more canon content fleshing out the things we dont know about yet
Can’t a father be proud of his daughter? Why is it weird that Jiraiya takes pride in raising what are essentially his kids? He gives them advice on how to be better and successful adults. Stop crying. Be strong. Blossom into adulthood. He doesn’t want to sleep with her. When he sees her in the Rain village he remarks that she’s no longer the same person she was before. She’s no longer that kind and caring girl he trained years ago. She’s lost that humanity that he admired so much from her. He’s disappointed that the two of them have changed and not for the better.
this, I found very weird and creepy that this ''theory'' was brought up in the video, Jiraya doesnt want to sleep with his adopted child, saying that she will grow up to be a beautiful woman its his way of saying that she will grow up to be a great person, its just part of jiraya's character to talk like this (something that I don't really like in the character to be honest, I find it a bit creepy, the whole spying and stalking women thing) but he would never mean to flirt with a CHILD
Jiraiya also said that kid Naruto had a tight body when he stripped down to his underwear when he was first learning to walk on water. Jiraiya has no limits 🤢🤢🤢
Lee was able to pass because he could open at least one chakra gate which is a VERY powerful jutsu. Thus he technically has aptitude in jutsu and would also explain how he was allowed to pass
True😂 Although a theory I heard about that(and one that I quite like), is that Hidan was just born with 'immortality' as a type of Kekkei Genkai, and his broken psyche just made up Jashinism as a coping mechanism for all the deaths he's caused and all the times he's survived death
the reaper death seal has gotta be the strongest sealing technique, it probably literally is death itself, or the source of all sealing techniques. Ironic that the uzumaki, who are full of vitality and chakra like the senju developed the reaper death seal jutsu which obviously calls upon the shinigami
In the last movie there is a mention of gods of order and chaos in the background. It's highly likely kami do have a secret involvement in the world. Raijin shrines wouldn't exist for no reason.
I can actually debunk the Jiraiya team theories about Ramen Guy and Mikoto. Minato was 24 when he died, Mikoto was 35 when she died, but Mikoto died 7 years after Minato meaning she was a fair bit older, about 3-4 years older. It's not entirely unheard of for Genin to be different ages on the same squad (Gaara was literally with his 14 year old brother and 16 year old sister at the age of 12), but it's a discrepancy worth noting. Ramen Guy definitely wasn't the male member though, he's 43 in part 1 meaning he was 31 when Minato died at 24. He'd already been a late teen or early adult when Minato was a kid so that one 100% is a bad theory, but the Mikoto one does have a couple things going for it. Itachi has aids is just a meme thing to say, his illness is clinically more similar to tuberculosis or something similar to covid or any other respiratory illness. Also, the retcon for Hashirama's strength when reanimated in part 1 isn't actually that much of a retcon, since it was explained that Orochimaru's understanding of the Reanimation Jutsu was very rudimentary and this was expanded on in fillers where he tried to fight Sasori with a reanimation of the Third Kazekage but his control was so weak that his own reanimation turned on him. Orochimaru struggled to master this jutsu without a perfect vessel, Kabuto's mastery of it was basically perfect, he could bring them back at basically 99% of their prime, or even above their prime in the case of Madara enhanced with Hashirama cells on his chest or Itachi without his illness or stamina issues and infinite chakra. Kabuto's Reanimation Jutsu is genuinely scary and he literally only lost the war because of Itachi prepping Koto within Naruto, kind of a crazy thing to think about. On the topic of Kaguya’s descendants, I believe a lot of the other clans actually split off Asura’s bloodline, such as the Kaguya clan and Kinkaku/Ginkaku. Asura inherited the strong physical energy and chakra of Hagoromo so it would make sense that this could manifest as a derivative of Kaguya’s kekkei genkai as a mutation. We also know in Boruto that the Fuma clan branched off of the Uchiha and lost their Sharingan because their bloodline diluted.
It becomes even funnier, since Itachi Koto prep was initially made for Sasuke and he didn't quite expected it working the way it worked. Kabuto lost the war almost by a sheer coincidence
I’m definitely on big autism & ADHD hours and I’m pretty familiar with symptoms of them and I’ve always seen Naruto as ADHD and Rock Lee as Autism, it’s basically confirmed to me lol
I believe hashirama was able to use wood style sage mode as he can instantly enter sage mode. His wood release would allow him to be connected to nature energy and keep his sage mode active much longer.
@@rapidhehx8298 Not at all hashirama uses a very high level of wood release that is made of life force he is connected to his Jutsu on a different level. Trees possess nature energy. He is in contact with his wood golem and enters sage mode with a clap of his hands. Explain how he can do that. The only different thing about the first hokage is hi swood release.
Is it even possible for hundreds of senju to breed out in 70 years?… Sounds to me like all senju would have to have taken other clan names as well as all marrying outside their clan
yeah, all the theories sound unbelievable. the senju likely weren't meant to be a big part of the story at the time naruto started. same with hashirama having an important part only later in the story.
@@CRO-Palacinke-D.C Totally agree. This video should have said there was a different in-verse reason for it. Breeding out in such a short time isn’t likely at all
@@mattys6106for real an entire generation of Senju would have to be girls who married into other clans and abandoned the name. You'd think there would be a at least a few boys to keep the lineage alive. Even if it dwindled over time you'd think by part 1 the Senju would be at least as large as the Nara clan. Three Senju families at the very least
The knocked out woman with jiraiya, non ninja people could possibly be from their chakra being disturbed, then after the genjutsu is dispelled by a ninja they faint until their chakra settles. As for not knowing who killed or how a strong ninja died, everyone keeps forgetting poisoning and legit stabbed in their sleep as a viable option
My favorite theory as to why the Senju no longer exist is that when Tobirama became leader, after the death of Hashirama, he decreed that all men should either select new last names going forward or that if they marry outside of the family that they should adopt their wives' surnames. This makes sense because Tobirama wanted a forced peace between the Uchiha and Senju. That's why he made the Uchiha the police force, that way they couldn't claim the legal system discriminated agaibst them. Hashirama and Tobirama also put the village before the clan, and that's what the will of fire is all about (getting better every generation by remembering the past, but being reborn constantly aswell to adapt to the present). By disbanding the Senju Tobirama could have sought to eliminate the enemy of the Uchiha and thus prevent civil war in the future. The Senju had no kekei genkai nor signature jutsu that wr know of, and with them now permanently based in the village with their leaders already being de facto leaders of the village having a formal clan became a bigger liability than benefit. I think it's likely that all men became expected to change their last name when they married, and if already married they would be forced to choose a rabdom name (or maybe a lottery system) and then their family would adopt their name. Single women would simply be expected to adopt the name of their new husbands in the future. Tsunade never married and it's why she never adopted a new name.
The only loophole here is Konohamaru who may have been allowed to keep Senju as his name because he was a direct descendant of Hashirama's family. Since most of the Senju don't seem to be closely related, it seems likely that a large section weren't blood relatives at all. If this is the case, then that's why also Tsunade got to keep the name .
RockLee knew shuriken jutsu, and hashirama gained sage chakra all on his own. The series specifically states Hashirama didn't need an animal to enter sage mode
No one ever talks about Kimimaro totally underrated. I think his disease had to do more of a bone marrow disease. A red blood cell disorder would fit more of his symptoms. Being fatigue due damaged red blood cell structure like sickle cells could lead to lack of oxygen in the body. Abnormal red blood cells structures could cause blood clots which could explained coughing up blood. A lack of oxygen in the body could explain why he couldn’t move unless he used his kekkei genkai. With a lack of oxygen in the body organs slowly start to shut down due to the build of lactic acid in the body. Without a bone marrow transplant there was no way of saving Kimimaro 😢
I agree how little The Gold an Silver brothers are talked about in the lore with such legendary status attached to them you wouldve thought there wouldve been some filler solely for them
Maybe Jiraiya told Konan she will become beautiful because he knows that even in a shinobi world, girls still value a father who can give them confidence. He was definitely a pervert, but he wasnt a pedophile. When Naruto was learning rasenshuriken and Kakashi said something that could be interpreted as him liking Naruto in a sexual way he freaked out and that was after 2-3 years of training with Jiraiya which implies that during that time Jiraiya wasnt a weirdo to him or he would get used to those type of comments.
In defense of the Infinite Tsukuyomi theory- in regards to the events of Boruto not being what Naruto's dream world would be. We can assume that Madara was unaware/misinformed about the other effects/true purpose of the IT because we know that eventually the people trapped inside of it turn into white zetsu. That means eventually their dream would come to an end once their body is completely transformed. So what if instead of it being an immediate end to their dream, it was a gradual change that eventually devolves into a nightmare before that person "dies" and only the white zetsu body is left. That would explain why the events immediately after they defeat Madara/Kaguya were so positive. Naruto defeats Sasuke and "brings him home", peace between nations is maintained, he starts a family with Hinata, etc etc. But as the events of Boruto progress the story is getting darker and darker, signifying that more and more of his body has been converted to white zetsu and his dream is now a nightmare up until the point he "dies" in his dream (Boruto) and also "dies" in the real world wrapped up in a cocoon.
That directly contradicts the theory tho since the main premise is that the whole Kaguya and Otsutsuki plot never happened in the first place and was all just a dream.
31:57 Hanzo lost to his rival Mifune, who never stopped training even after that great ninja war that named the Sanin. If Hanzo could beat the Sanin which are all stronger than the average Kage then Mifune is at least as strong as the 5 kage or better. It's debatable on when you think each Sanin became the strongest/when they got sage mode or the seal for Tsunade/Jiraya, but Mifune ain't no punk and should've been used in the war more.
It's most likely that when Hanzo fought the sannin, they didn't have their ace trump card yet. - Hiruzen was surprised when he saw Orochimaru perform the Edo Tensei against him during the Konoha crush. Also Tsunade didn't made the connection between Orochimaru's offer and the Edo Tensei when he told her to bring 2 human sacrifices. So she didn't know about the Edo Tensei. - Also Orochimaru didn't know Tsunade 100 heal seal technique when they fought in the three way dreadlock. He especially said that he was thus not the only one to work on new justus. - As for Jiraya, I don't know. He was shown much younger, as a teenager, already hanging out in the Myoboku mountain. But when he died he still wasn't a perfect Sage. So who can tell. Maybe as a teenager he didn't know much about sage mode, or he was bad at it. So Hanzo fought versions of the sennin that where much weaker than the one in part 1 Naruto. If we take even Tsunade for example, take out her seal from her, and it is beginning of Shippuden Sakura basically (aside from Katsuyu summoning). So this is a much weaker ninja.
@@fellowkrieger457 yeah but it's weird because they all get nerfed later in the series. Tsunade not really training. Orochimaru never having a suitable host body. Jiraya being plain older and not being able to resist aging like his teammates. Also, I would say Orochimaru's 8 branches is his ultimate technique/peak, even though you're right about edo tensei. And Jiraya isn't even a perfect sage at all, he has a shitty version of it. Even Mianto is a better sage. Overall I agree though
@@Sweetlesishere yeah sorry I didn't said it as I thought as said. I meant young Jiraya was at baby tier sage mode probably and really for from the last stages. And we only know he was imperfect mode at 52 years old. For sure, they stated in a databook that Hydra is Oro's best technique and equivalent of sage mode. Idk, it didn't appeal that much to me compared to Edo Tensei. Tbf, being auto GG Tostuka is not a good setup to have a proper showcase. But Edo Tensei is sooo broken. Like in the war, you give Oro a Zetsu body, he pulls out 4 almost at top power. Like Sage Hashirama level... it's so freaking broken 😅. Hashirama could break out, and Tobirama could resist. Still Minato and Hiruzen broken af.
Small thing: THANK YOU for reading the title of the theorie out loud before explaining it. So many iceberg videos they don't read out loud wtf they talkint about and I enjoy iceberg videos while I try to sleep. Really, thank you
Maybe Itachi found the original user of Yata Mirror and Totsuka Blade, and this person gave him these tools. I think it may be related to how the 3rd Raikage gave Darui the black lightning.
If I can add to this with some of my own headcanon: 1. Sakumo Hatake is the best Kenjutsu(Swordsman) Practitioner in the history of Naruto. This is because we know 2 things about him...... he was known as the White Fang thanks to his skills with a white chakra-infused blade, and..... he was stronger than all 3 Legendary Sannin combined. 2. Hashirama's Sage Mode wasn't any animal type sage mode but rather a _'natural'_ Sage Mode specific to Hashirama himself. This is because Sage Mode draws in Nature Chakra and Hashirama's special healing factor constantly drew in Nature Chakra from the surrounding areas. Hence him activating Sage Mode was as easy as breathing for him. (This is supported by the canon fact that Hashirama's Wood Style is the only style that gives rise to living matter since trees continue to grow after being made..... meaning he and he alone has a special connection with Nature) 3. Kaguya (and Adult Sasuke) could possibly travel to Itachi's Realm of Drunken Dreams as well as Kamui dimension and even the dimension of irrelevant space that FTG users travel to *(this is more of me asking a question rather than having a theory)*
Wouldn't someone like Sasuke, Killer B, Mangetsu or Blue B be the best kenjutsu practitioner in the series. I like sakumo, although he was stated to be stronger than the young sannin combined at that time, he has no feats unfortunately.
31:57 Sai used an attack he pulled out of his ass and never once used before, or after, some fake ass ultimate technique, and he was likely mentally amped too. The attack just bounced them off the bird into the Kankuro puppets with no damage to their edo bodies. Sasori also had no puppets he had in death to use, and was probably weaker than in life like some edo were. Deidara is the real weird one because earlier he was fighting Ohnoki, giving orders to Kabuto (lmao), blew up the island turtle etc. Given his history of clone substitutions, being off guarded by Sai is wild and has insane implications for Sai vs Hebi Saskue
For once think of this logically rather than from a powerscalers perspective, because we all know the writers didnt think about anything you just wrote, nor would they likely give a shit if they read it either. Mental amps is a fan concept, in the actual story outside of powerscaling this has no place to be discussed. The real reason why all of this happened is because Kishi wanted to give some side chats the limelight and the villains' powerlevels got sandbagged to make up for it.
really liked this iceberg idea, I haven’t caught up with Naruto in the last few years. But some of these mysteries where things I picked up but I assumed where explained already or would be explained in the future. Would like to see a part 2. Awesome vid 🔥🔥
actually, Nick, NCHammer21, - i think it was him - made the speculation that Jashin is the name of the God of Death. the Reaper summoned when the Reaper Death Seal is performed. so, somehow Hidan managed to summon him, learned his first name, worships him, and brings him sacrifices. in exchange, he does not take his life. thus making Hidan immortal. 24:33 speculation on my part here. i think Hidans rituals precluded the necessity for nutrition. so long as he maintained the rituals, he would be immortal. and thus not need nutrition. however, after being decapitated and buried alive, he could no longer perform the rituals. so after a while, his immortality would run out. and to keep itself alive his body would start consuming itself. because it required nutrition. however, he was buried under rubble. and decapitated. so, he died from malnutrition.
Itachi was Jiraiya's spy: ua-cam.com/video/rVZUxBu05NU/v-deo.html Why Edo Madara was young: ua-cam.com/video/1Vpc5-nUV-c/v-deo.html The "Ramen Guy Was Minato's Teammate" theory along with the Mikoto side theory has been debunked with the new Minato manga. It was fun while it lasted.
As for the Senju clan, since we know that Hashirama married into the Uzumaki clan, there is possibility that most of the Senju family thereafter lived with or close to the Uzumaki clan, and died during the Second Great Ninja War.
45:03 It’s actually more likely that Itachi got the powerful weapons because of how much trauma he was going through at the time, including killing his parents, future partner, His best friend and most of his clan
my explanation for jashin has always been the “multiple kami” thing. before the series went all alien, it seemed like there was a kami for literally everything. jashin could be the kami of sacrifice, give up the lives of others and in turn you gain immortality
11:59 are there any what ifs that people have written? that premise seems awesome to me. once the series is over, it could be an awesome alternate reality one shot. everyone hit by the infinite tsukuyomi, _except_ sasuke. sasuke as we speak is battling it out with madara. maybe he defeats him, maybe you wanna keep zestu in the storyline, maybe sasukes contacted by So6P when he realizes his other son is basically dead
While I agree that Itachi likely had an autoimmune disease, I doubt It would have been AIDS specifically. Though If it was, then Sasuke would potentially have HIV (the disease that results in AIDS when left untreated) due to Itachi's eyes, which would mean Sakura would have it through sexual transmission, Sarada would have it from birth, Naruto would potentially have it from Sasuke's blood potentially getting into his system in the last VOtE fight, Hinata would have gotten it from sexual transmission, and Boruto and Himiwari would have it through birth. Well provided either Tsunade and/or Sakura wouldn't have just found a cure ( if so, we need one of them IRL) at some point.
May be the missing armour piece is like a form of paying respect to Madara who was his last real opponent so after his death there is no need to rebuild his armour anymore and he kept it that way as a reminder of his last real fight and his lost best friend
Choza has brown hair, he wears a red wig over it Also they covered a bunch a of Jashin cults in Boruto, where Kakashi, Guy and Asuma’s daughter go looking for them
My guy, this shit stoked me! Def earned a sub. Choke full of new theory that's tickled my Naruto itch in a way that hasn't been tickled since back in the day with speculation on who Tobi was. Great content
A widely more popular theory for Kimimaru's disease is that shikatsumyaku is an ability derived from the bones Kaguya used to impale and kill Obito. Those bones would destroy anything they touch, so you would need the sage's body to whistand the side effects, but members of the Kaguya clan don't have such a strong body, so that's why they die.
I had an interesting theory that I haven't really seen before, but considering what we know about Sasuke and Itachi being more well rounded and have far more potential than the others in the Uchiha clan, probably coming from their father's side..do you think one of their grandparents were a Senju? It's an interesting thought I had because Senju have high potential as a clan and are generally good with Kenjutsu, Ninjutsu, and Bukijutsu (sealing) while the Uchiha were more known for their Sharingan, Fire style, and overall they weren't known for much else other than being strong and having a powerful Kekkei Genkai, but when you look at Mikoto's two sons they actually stand out, Itachi became an Anbu captain at eleven years old, Sasuke at the age of thirteen was comparable to characters like Neji, Rock Lee, and Gaara who were about fifteen at the time and all prodigies in their own right but then given just two and a half years or so of training with Orochimaru, he was so far ahead of everyone else in his generation that they thought he was using drugs to enhance his abilities, and people often try to say Sasuke's Taijutsu isn't as good as Naruto's but quite literally Sasuke is always depicted as being on par or superior with Taijutsu and generally the allrounder type of character, another thing I noticed is that Itachi's talent for Genjutsu is often attributed to the Uchiha but the only thing that's ever stated is they good with their "Visual Genjutsu", Itachi's shown to be able to use other kinds of Genjutsu that we've never seen before, the Senju were known for their ability to adapt and be good with everything overall, the majority of the most broken forbidden jutsu ever used in the series were created by Tobirama, I do believe Itachi, Mikoto, and Sasuke probably do have at least some Senju blood..and I find it interesting her name is inspired by "The Shinto God of Storms", considering Fugaku possibly has a Mangekyou Sharingan considering his nickname "Wicked-Eye", wouldn't be surprised if Mikoto also has one..I also find it funny Sasuke is more of a Lighting style user than anyone else in the series, every fight after he learns Chidori he uses it, and after the timeskip he uses mostly variations of Chidori and I think it's intentional...
Very awesome video! I’ve always been into Naruto since I was little, but this is one of the first videos I’ve seen about a bunch of theories. They’re very interesting. Also, it made me very happy to hear a HOME track for your outro lol
What about cursed mark being shortcut for shinobi to enter sage mode? Think about this, Jugo's body absorbs nature energy around him uncontrollably due to his unique physiology. When it overcharges his body transforms and his personality changes. It is his body response to overwhelming amount of nature energy that he needs to take off himself. We know that in order to learn sage mode you need to undergo hard training where you get skills to absorb nature energy, balance it out in your body due to danger of turning into stone statue, and use it in combat with your usual chakra. Only best users of sage mode could minimize amount of body transformations that occured as result of absorbing nature energy. Jiraya needed 2 frog sages to help them with that, still endep up with body transformation. Also we know that not everyone who got the curse mark was able to survive it, and achieving higher levels of transformations was exclusive to only specially strong shinobi. My theory is: while experimenting with Jugo, Orochimaru found a way to give people shortcut to enter variation of sage mode that Jugo himself and members of his clan were using. It still required user to be somewhat good at controling chakra, that's why not everyone survived application of curse. Also this would explain why release of curse mark doesn't work like usual temporary boost, but rather as dangerous push of your own limits. It is because curse absorbs nature energy around constantly. If you let curse mark consume you while you have not enough chakra to balance it out, it will result poorly, just like with sage mode.
This definitely took a lot time to make and these are genuienly great topics to talk about, some mysteries i heard for the first time for ex. that rock lee is autistic😭 but it actually makes sense !! Great video, keep up the good work 🙌❤
You could make a video about how the show or the manga would be if we read it in chronology order, for example, reading first shippuden flashback and after that the original story without reading those flashbacks again. I love your videos and thanks to them I'm interested in Naruto again 😺
Easily best Naruto Iceberg I've seen, some of them lowkey blew my mind. But isn't Hashirama confirmed to use monkey sage mode (regarding the slug one?)
An interesting battle/ what if you could tackle could be , what if Sakura didn’t put Lee, Kiba, and Sai to sleep before confronting Sasuke. Instead devise a plan to face him all at once. The win con being to tag him with the poison kunai. Would love to see your thoughts on whether or not they have a chance of winning.
Sasuke would just kill them all lee might be different cause of war feats but sasuke was ready to kill all the leaf and no one else had a chance as it heavily implied the only man who could stop sssuke in MS was sage naruto so they would’ve gotten stomped before kakashi showed up
@@Steven-rk3ky Sasuke was really exhausted after his fight with Danzo. He didn't use MS at all against Sakura. And as soon as he pulled out Susanoo against Kakashi, he overextended his MS and was almost blind. The Susanoo stayed for a couple of seconds only. He would have been overwhelmed by the Konoha squad. Some are not that much of a threat, but even Lee with gates is no joke. Tobi would have just swooped in earlier and call for retreat. Just like he did in the manga.
@@Steven-rk3ky Have to also factor in that they don’t have to beat him down to win. As long as they tag him with kunai, he will quickly be incapable of fighting back combined with Ms exhaustion. Lee has the speed to land the blow or is strong enough to hold Sasuke down for Sakura to do him in herself. Kiba and Sai would merely be support to aid in the plan. However Sasuke even while exhausted was still able to class with Naruto. So he probably has some juice to last a bit.
I really like the idea of the slug sage mode. I never paid too much attention to these special woods Kabuto and Orochimaru were speaking about. And in all, it makes sense for Hashirama to have this particular one. Also we can notice that no other users of sage mode were outside of the Leaf village. Through all the legendary ninja brought back to life with Edo Tensei, no other users were found. While senjutsu propel any ninja into a different tier of fighter. So if there were, it should have been quite noticeable. So probably, the only places to learn sage mode through creatures were the toads, the snake, and the slug places. (and maybe in other places creatures can manipulate nature energy but are not able to teach it to people). There were also the people of the clan of Juugo, who had pseudo Sage chakra, but it was dued to the reaction of their chakra to the riushi cave of the snake sages.
@@quentinjones6877 well they made it work like other kekkei genkai. Like it is super rare to master, for some reason. It could be possible. Wood style has some weird chakra reaction properties, such as yeah chakra suppression, reacting to tailed beast chakra (like when the zetsu turn into trees when KCM Naruto battle them). I get what you say, it has a link with chakra overall. And it is a life force. It is the only elemental chakra release that creates life forms. If one day they say that wood style can also make coffee, I wouldn't be surprised. It is just like, as New Horizons notices. They mentioned these woods, in the same regards as Snake cave and Frog mountain. Saying it resonates with chakra as well, they imply it is a similar place. Plus Orochimaru mentions it while speaking about places where you learn sage mode. Then, Tsunade is a Senju. It connects multiple dots. Hashirama could have mastered his healing techniques there. If you bump into Katsuyu in these woods. There is a good chance she can teach a lot about healing.
Maybe the Slug Sage Mode were the dots on the ones under Katsuyu, like Tsunade and Sakura, that enables them to 100 Healings Jutsu, and Hashirama being a natural, he can merge Sage Art with Wood Style.
45:48 u literally show the panel where its said that the Totsuka Blade is a Spirit Weapon so it has no physical form thats why it can't be found, it is likely inherited and Orochimaru maybe thought it was a physical blade or that he could get it by getting the sharingan eyes that can summon it.
For Danzo’s use of shisuis eye, the eye he had was not the 10 year one, that’s the one itachi possessed. The two ideas have different abilities like every other eye
Here's another theory the reason why Sakura was so mean to Naruto it's because their mothers were Rivals and Sakura's mom told her not to hang around him because of this
Not to mention both wanted minato to themselves and if you think about it if minato married both of them Naruto and sakura would have been siblings making Naruto's childhood alot less lonely. Plus it would be an interesting scenario to happen.
Infact as i mentioned, we never even heard of hidan after he was trapped in the hole
Edit-
As i mentioned earlier oda never forgets his characters oda has started playing his pieces, first vivi, then wapol who was the most unexpected and now we have Dory and brogy returning to the series and in the latest chapter 1109 we finally get to know the name of icebergs personal secretary she's just a random fkin character but we have still been following her story since 2016 or something, she has appeared at very few instances up until now prolly like 3-4 times, infact 99% of the community is unaware of her but oda still cared of bringing her back and even giving her a name now.
@omkar0455 man mysteries are onr of the best aspects of a story andd oda is js solving them all for you??? Boringgg

Kisame thinks I put this girl under genjutsu to lure you away and leave Naruto unguarded.”
This explains why Jiraiya brings the unconscious girl with him, so that he could pretend that Itachi successfully distracted him with his genjutsu as to not blow Itachi’s cover.
Orochimaru the God of Drip.
Why do you think he was the first Sannin introduced?
The real reason for Orochimaru to make the sound village, was to was to settle a place to brand his snake fashion.

For Madera breaking out of Edo Tensei:
There's a theory that prodigious chakra vision is Madara's Mangekyou sharingan ability.
I'm pretty sure that Tobirama didn't die to Kinkaku and Ginkaku
Madara said tobiramas m.o to strike an enemy if they are convinced of victory
I have seen the second argument many times and I don't think It makes much sense, why would you name an unit made to hunt down a criminal after that very same criminal? If anything, it would be named by the lines of "Kinkaku hunting force".
Not to mention, why would a force made to hunt down the brothers be attacking Tobirama and his squad? Shouldn't they be focusing on killing the two shinobi that wield the Sage of Six Paths tools, fragments of Kurama's chakra and that tried to kill the raikage not long ago?
Kinkaku Force were those Cloud ninja who were followers of the Gold and Silver Brothers.
You missed the “was Itachi actually Jiraiyas contact in the Akatsuki?”

Stop crying. Be strong. Blossom into adulthood. He doesn’t want to sleep with her. When he sees her in the Rain village he remarks that she’s no longer the same person she was before.

The thing is Hashirama has a healing factor, so poisons or stabbing in his sleep arguably wouldn't work.
“My only regret… is that I had… boneitis.”

Even taijutsu masters had to use chakra, like Might Guy using it to summon his turtles, and to use shuriken and kunai jutsu.
I agree how little The Gold an Silver brothers are talked about in the lore with such legendary status attached to them you wouldve thought there wouldve been some filler solely for them
Yup, they were only mentioned in killing Tobirama in the manga and anime when they were alive, and them eating Kurama.
Very interesting 🤔
That directly contradicts the theory tho since the main premise is that the whole Kaguya and Otsutsuki plot never happened in the first place and was all just a dream.
I've wished someone would make a Naruto Iceberg video like this and you made one! Thanks!
Small thing:
THANK YOU for reading the title of the theorie out loud before explaining it.
Props for the nice editing on something that most channels treat like a podcast episode
babe wake up, new New Horizons video (and it's a nearly hour long ICEBERG??)
If I can add to this with some of my own headcanon:
(This is supported by the canon fact that Hashirama's Wood Style is the only style that gives rise to living matter since trees continue to grow after being made..... meaning he and he alone has a special connection with Nature)
3. Kaguya (and Adult Sasuke) could possibly travel to Itachi's Realm of Drunken Dreams as well as Kamui dimension and even the dimension of irrelevant space that FTG users travel to *(this is more of me asking a question rather than having a theory)*
Moron
To debunk the aids theory: sasuke implants itachis eyes without catching it.
i’m sure it was cleaned, plus you have to keep in mind that the human eye is just a membrane with its own immune system and all
@@itsprinceshakurwith as many cuts as sasuke had, itachi’s blood is probably getting into his system.
really liked this iceberg idea, I haven’t caught up with Naruto in the last few years. But some of these mysteries where things I picked up but I assumed where explained already or would be explained in the future. Would like to see a part 2. Awesome vid 🔥🔥
this is why boruto is so hated. there is about 5 generations of mysteries/plot pieces left unanswered and we got bros son
The Last Airbender cartoon was loved, but not Legend of Korra.
Both Naruto and Boruto were like that pairing.
Best Naruto Iceberg, would love to see a part 2
As for the Orochimaru clothes thing. I like to think he's like a cult leader. Cults are known to dress in equal fashion.
16:30 lee passed by using afterimage basically moved so fast he create multiple images of himself so they gave him that pass. It’s part of his spinoff
actually, Nick, NCHammer21, - i think it was him - made the speculation that Jashin is the name of the God of Death. the Reaper summoned when the Reaper Death Seal is performed. so, somehow Hidan managed to summon him, learned his first name, worships him, and brings him sacrifices. in exchange, he does not take his life. thus making Hidan immortal.
24:33 speculation on my part here. i think Hidans rituals precluded the necessity for nutrition. so long as he maintained the rituals, he would be immortal. and thus not need nutrition. however, after being decapitated and buried alive, he could no longer perform the rituals. so after a while, his immortality would run out. and to keep itself alive his body would start consuming itself. because it required nutrition. however, he was buried under rubble. and decapitated. so, he died from malnutrition.
that hashirama was a slug sage seems so obvious but I never thought about it.

The "Ramen Guy Was Minato's Teammate" theory along with the Mikoto side theory has been debunked with the new Minato manga. It was fun while it lasted.
😔
Yup😊
I heard Zetzu represents protecting one’s clan and family since well. He just wants to restore Kageya
As for the Senju clan, since we know that Hashirama married into the Uzumaki clan, there is possibility that most of the Senju family thereafter lived with or close to the Uzumaki clan, and died during the Second Great Ninja War.
This why you my favorite Naruto channel
45:03 It’s actually more likely that Itachi got the powerful weapons because of how much trauma he was going through at the time, including killing his parents, future partner, His best friend and most of his clan
This is the best Naruto iceberg .
Naruto worldbuilding is just so interesting. I can't stop nerding out about it and there are so many mysteries.
Same. Wish they made arcs for certain characters.
Same.
Ice berg question nobody talks about - Why did Kishimoto radically change the Ten Tail’s design from it’s introduction as a silhouette.
Thank you for this video! Icebergs are goated
I have never seen a single episode of Naruto...
But this was certainly a trip, great video!
my explanation for jashin has always been the “multiple kami” thing. before the series went all alien, it seemed like there was a kami for literally everything. jashin could be the kami of sacrifice, give up the lives of others and in turn you gain immortality
Well provided either Tsunade and/or Sakura wouldn't have just found a cure ( if so, we need one of them IRL) at some point.
naruto and sasuke are kinda weak in boruto….
ngl it’s just plot bruh i doubt sasuke got sick from itachi.
Bruh I was working on a Naruto Iceberg Video myself. Anyways Great Video!
This straight delivery on Itachi got aids killed me 😂
The biggest mystery to me, is how is it possible for an anime to have so godly soundtracks.
I was listening to this while trying to sleep. The “Itachi had AIDS” has had me laughing for the last hour. No sleep for me now, thanks 😅
May be the missing armour piece is like a form of paying respect to Madara who was his last real opponent so after his death there is no need to rebuild his armour anymore and he kept it that way as a reminder of his last real fight and his lost best friend
Choza has brown hair, he wears a red wig over it
Also they covered a bunch a of Jashin cults in Boruto, where Kakashi, Guy and Asuma’s daughter go looking for them
The new minato one shot shows who minato teammates are funny enough.
yep that's debunked now.
@@New_Horizons at least you covered. Amazing video btw man.
The "its all a dream" theory could be possible since new naruto episode are about to drop.
My guy, this shit stoked me! Def earned a sub. Choke full of new theory that's tickled my Naruto itch in a way that hasn't been tickled since back in the day with speculation on who Tobi was.
Great content
0:35 ngl when I saw “itachi had aids” I burst out laughing 😂😂
We finally figure out Team Jiraiya in the Minato One-Shot.
The deadpan delivery of “Rock lee has autism” made me spit out my water
Very awesome video! I’ve always been into Naruto since I was little, but this is one of the first videos I’ve seen about a bunch of theories. They’re very interesting. Also, it made me very happy to hear a HOME track for your outro lol
Oh i love that theory about Ramen Guy being Minato's teammate. Thats adorable and is canon as far as im concerned now
What about cursed mark being shortcut for shinobi to enter sage mode?
Yup curse mark uses nature energy I think
I think this is canon. Like mentioned in the show.
Orochimaru couldn't master sage mode so he invented the curse mark.
I like to think that Kimimaro gave himself leukemia by overusing his kekkei genkai.
Similar to how overusing mangekyo sharingan makes you blind.
This was great. I love his delivery
This definitely took a lot time to make and these are genuienly great topics to talk about, some mysteries i heard for the first time for ex. that rock lee is autistic😭 but it actually makes sense !! Great video, keep up the good work 🙌❤
Ramen guy is not that genin. It was shown in Minato's light novel that some guy named Dekai is Minato's teammate.
The reason why they didn’t do more with Hidan was to focus on Sasuke more :p
lee passed the graduation exam because he side stepped so fast his after images made a clone
rock lee is not acoustic
You could make a video about how the show or the manga would be if we read it in chronology order, for example, reading first shippuden flashback and after that the original story without reading those flashbacks again.
I love your videos and thanks to them I'm interested in Naruto again 😺
0:50 rock lee does not have autism
He does its canon
Ramen guy being minatos teamate is the best freaking theory
@@Steven-rk3ky gated lee would be a problem for sasuke
@@Steven-rk3ky Have to also factor in that they don’t have to beat him down to win. As long as they tag him with kunai, he will quickly be incapable of fighting back combined with Ms exhaustion. Lee has the speed to land the blow or is strong enough to hold Sasuke down for Sakura to do him in herself. Kiba and Sai would merely be support to aid in the plan. However Sasuke even while exhausted was still able to class with Naruto. So he probably has some juice to last a bit.
this was a great video. a part 2 would be really cool
It is said Kurenai's plan B after casting genjutsu on Itachi was to drown Kisame.
I like to think Hashirama's Sage Mode was connected to his wood release instead of it being from an animal
@@fellowkrieger457 maybe
Maybe the Slug Sage Mode were the dots on the ones under Katsuyu, like Tsunade and Sakura, that enables them to 100 Healings Jutsu, and Hashirama being a natural, he can merge Sage Art with Wood Style.
Gaaras father use sage mode or not ?
New here, this is actually really interesting and well constructed
Rock Lee passed the exam by moving back and forth super fast, Barry Allen style, to make an after image that looked like a clone
I shed a tear when this came up on my feed
45:48 u literally show the panel where its said that the Totsuka Blade is a Spirit Weapon so it has no physical form thats why it can't be found, it is likely inherited and Orochimaru maybe thought it was a physical blade or that he could get it by getting the sharingan eyes that can summon it.
The random person chilling in the backround watching the kaguya fight is so cool to me
For Danzo’s use of shisuis eye, the eye he had was not the 10 year one, that’s the one itachi possessed. The two ideas have different abilities like every other eye
Itachi has aids, Rock lee has autism this shit is too funny man keep it up
if Orochimaru lived in the hidden sound said to be in the grass land or whateveer than maybe thats what people from there would wear
Ouuu I like that idea
I always liked the idea that Hashirma was a self-taught nature sage. He didn't need an animal contract because he was just THAT guy.
I choose to believe Hashirama purposefully never fixed his arm armor to commemorate his final battle with Madara.
