I love his attitude, because this is really what it’s all about. He should have been on the 100M team and he would have medaled in Paris…I’m sure of this because he’s in amazing shape this season and I like his new execution (which he did not execute in the finals, for some odd reason after all that training to do it the new way)! He’s realistic, as am I. It didn’t work out…we cannot live in the past, and we need to truly focus on the future if we are to be successful. I cannot believe he did as well in the 200M as he did, and that alone shows me his 100M is really on point this season. I’m so frustrated for him, but I know God doesn’t make mistakes, and he is in a great spot to run the rounds of the relay, maybe even anchor it in the rounds, while preparing for the 4x100 finals, where he is well needed on our team.
@@evettecruise5214I like when people know what they’re talking about. Yes, it is mental…he mentally becomes anxious in the end because he’s running the entire race from the front until the very end, and he knows others have better top speed, so he sits and worries about them catching him instead of trying to OWN his lead! Gail Devers, Shelly Anne, TT Terry, etc., have the exact same talent as Christian on the female side, but they are far more confident and trust no one will catch them because they focus on THEIR OWN LANE! Christian doesn’t run in his own lane…he worries about people catching him and he panics instead of holding his form. All he needs to do is look at the finish line, not behind him, and he will beat everyone else to the line because he’s ahead the entire frigging race until the absolute end!
Christian Coleman talking to Letsrun lol

Run for Canada at the Olympics, your times are faster then any Canadian this year
The reason is he is blessed with raw speed but can’t maintain it in the end of his races!!
It’s mental he breaks down and tightens up. You can’t run that well in the 200 and not be able to hold form in the 100
