Thank you for this , recently my 14pros screen went white after a little tumble it took . The screen touch still works I’m able to unlock it if I know where the buttons are but the screen is still white. Some say maybe its connection became undone or something along those lines. You can either replace the adhesive or reuse it but you defiantly want to have adhesive.
Is there any True Tone / Auto brightness fix?
There is not a way yet but I’m sure the Chinese will figure it out in a few years

And why did you place the blue film material inside ( then remove it ) ?
I would have to look up the brand of driver I can't remember what ones they are. The blue film has adhesive on the edges that you stick back down so the screen is waterproofed also won't fall off or cause dust to get into the phone making the camera dirty or blurry.

Thank you, I manage to get it off, how does the Face ID work on the iphone 14? I have the old screen which is no good, but have a genuine apple screen to replace it, do I need to take the senor of the back of the old screen?

Happens to the best of us. It's a pain in the butt to get off just gotta be patient and not force it off I've always learned if I feel rushed I will mess it up.

Yes unless you break proximity sensor taking it off old screen.
So the iphone 14 and iphone 14 plus, you'd have to disconnect the battery from opening the black glass?
You have to open back glass to disconnect battery

How do you disconnect the battery?
You take off the back but just do screen and a force restart at end of connecting it and it should work
@@worthitrepairsbymark yeah, I figured it out 2 seconds after posting the comment. The 14 Pro Max isn't like that. First time I've worked on a regular 14. Super weird.
@@worthitrepairsbymark are you not worried about damaging the motherboard from connecting a new screen without disconnecting the battery first? Or did they build these phones differently?
@@RedMissileGaming It does worry me. I would take off the back honestly and unplug the battery to be safe. I have done it the other way though by mistake turned it on during repair and didn't notice until the screen was connected and not working so I had to do a force restart and it worked.
So you didn’t unplug the battery?
I shut down the phone and actually rebooted phone with force restart and it worked. But if you can't get it to shut off I actually have done it without unplugging battery and did force restart and took my hands off buttons before the screen lit up again and it stayed off and did a force restart and it worked with new screen.
Most the time I unplug battery 1st but from what I learned on ifixit they do not unplug battery on there guide for this phone
When replacing screen of the 13 -13 pro max and 14-14pro max do they lose face id? I'm fixing to start repairing this screens that's why I'm asking and to let customers know.

I got my screen replaced at a repair shop about 5 months ago. My face ID didn't work anymore, my sound was going in and out for weeks, my phone started overheating and moving slow even when not on the charger, I started getting black ink spots in the screen and it now has completely blacked out. It's so stressful!!
If the proxy aka ear piece is broken that’s how u lose Face ID

I did not have to but I felt like I should need to still cause on other phones you do but I haven't work on that many yet to know if you have to for sure or not

@@Yvesvalentino sorry for late reply! Did you try a force restart quick tap volume up then down and then press and hold side button for 15 seconds?
@@Yvesvalentino if that doesn’t fix it take off back and reseat the battery connection. Then if that isn’t working try old screen if it works it for sure is a defective screen but if it is beyond the chance of working I’d still wager in that your part might be defective.
