Maybe it this was all the game ever was it would be fine…but it used to be so much more which makes this so sad to see, effort clearly was made in the art but the whole package is just so impacted
It's painful considering how awesome this could have been. The ideas for Ambessa and Warwick are really cool and could have been a genuinely good basis for a small package each. This really hurts
Instead of killing the game, why not just make a seasonal pack where after 6 months the game will start your collection again. But instead of 3 copies, the card you already have only need one copies. Introduce a gacha system, monetize it properly. I would rather have a game than a dead one
Honestly lor used to be one of my favourite games, I used to literally rant to my friends on how much I loved this game, I understand there is budget cuts and I feel for the Devs but this is just sad to see how far it's fallen. Literally what like 4/5 cards in a new expansion
I understand that there is little budget, I can understand that maybe they wanted to speed up the process to upload new content, but this game can never lack love or personality, those of us who really play this game know how to be patient and that has led the game to very great achievements, if we were told that an update must be delayed to NOT present things like screenshots for illustrations or most importantly the lack of animation of new champions then there would be no problem, but this is disappointing and disrespectful to us players and the identity of the game.🤕
im gonna be real, its understandable cause of the budge cuts, but if you cant work out the flavor a champion, dont bring a new one, there's so many already in game Champs still not in the poc, better than making a new one only for poc and not even giving it level up animations or voice lines at all
I stopped playing LoR after they went with PvE road but still wanted to see new champs bcs of the Arcane S2 hype... I am sorry but this is just sad to look at😢
im not understanding why they are cutting back so hard, when supposedly they are making the most money they have ever made, they put more effort into the cards before when they said they were losing way more money, if they were gonna go forward with this kind of garbage effort, i would have just rather them shut the game all together than release cards they clearly dont care about, no voice lines, no card lore, no unique level up animations, all the the things that make these game beautiful and feel alive, are all now gone
Reminder that Fiddle to our knowledge was the last champion to release that was actively being worked on before the budget and employee cuts about a year ago. It's not a sudden drop in quality it's that we're only just now catching up to that. Also making more money =/= better budget or more employees. Especially when the game has been in the red this whole time. You guys legit believed the game wasnt dead?
It's not that we thought it wasn't dead, it's that we'd like them to stop parading its lifeless body like a big puppet
@@xhantTheFirstwhat a completely dramatic statement about a game which for all intents and purposes is a failed business venture for Riot. It's a miracle they've funded it for so long.
@@miclash013 Miracles don't exist in this industry. So far, it seems the game is useful for collecting player's data.
Is it just me or even the splash arts look way less developed and detailed? Isn't that supposed to be one of Riot's strongest fields? Man i feel so bad for this game. Seriously I am a digital artist myself and tbf that doesnt look anything like Riot's art, especially her follower's. I used to love the voice lines and the amazing level ups this game offered. Amazing lore as well. I hope it will heal itself.
I know, that level up card looked like something posted on the custom card reddit and that just makes me depressed
@@randomperson4915 It truly is a shame...I hope they gather some budget in the future and actually hire talented artists and animators
@@francescocalabrese6489 exactly, especially since LoR is what got me hooked on the lore and flavor of the League of Legends mythos. The dev team back in the day was so lively and lighthearted- cracking jokes in the patch logs, regularly chatting with players and being genuinely passionate about their game. I miss that kind of passion from devs...
The game had so much potential
Why does she have Nasus's axe? 0:34
They are reusing assets instead of making new VFX
Riot is a small indie studio😢
Its sifon attack card effect
At this point is just depressing, they focused more on PvE sacrificing PvP, but this it's not worth it, i'd rather see the game just come to an official end before watching it get so low quality
No voice lines or level up animation... What have they done to my beloved game?
I can feel it when every games is on final phase
i have no mouth and i must scream
Legends of Runeterra used to be a hotspot for lore. I enjoyed the pvp side of things never truely cared for PVE shame honestly... otherwise id still be playing Legends of runeterra 😢
I think that, for the moment, we shouldn't complain about how they are misconfiguring WW and Ambessa that don't even have animation when leveling up, because currently Riot Games is working on the Arcane series, with making Ambessa Medarda in League Of Legends, the Arcane events and many things. LoR workers publish these characters in order not to leave the game so forgotten. But, if this continues like this, characters without animation or dedication or anything, then we should raise the red flags.
I hope people realise these are the consequences of giving up on PvP
You’d think Riot would give them more of a budget for the arcane tie in champs😭
Well , i keep the shards for the next two champions i guess, was hoping only ww would be boring but seems like both of em will .. bummer
This feels like Shovelware.
Hearts of the Huntress is my favorite expansion and I will carry those memory to my grave ❤ (R.I.P Legend of Runeterra)
PLEASE dislike the video
- For a bad release
- For a bad music for a Noxian Warrior
- For a bad animation
- For really bad decitions they are taking with LOR
These are not "decisions" they literally have no money, they can't do anything about it
Then you mean we have to review bomb?
It's not the devs fault, blame Riot
They aren't making bad decisions, slow people like you just whine and think you know everything. The game makes no profit, you lucky riot doesn't just axe the game, but they still letting it go, but budget has been pulled back.
@@ledgendweaver Isnt riot the dev team ?? Riot Force ? The one that isnt existant now ?

Depressing
Ah yes the 'each round the first time I kill an enemy, Rally" with no kit to let her do that out of combat, nor ways to protect herself while challenging or anything...
I have hopes that animations and voice lines will be added later on, but I'm sad knowing that Ambessa and Warwick revieved no new support card except rictus
This is not the same lor I used to play
And love
Looks like her public execution spell has the animation of Nasus' siphoning strike, it is so rough out here boys
what a creative design ☠️
How can you pick the worst song for Ambessa... HOW
wait which song was this
@@qetaciled Dirty Little Animals by Bones UK, it's from the Arcane soundtrack
Remember Pantheon's reveal, guys?
im happy it all happened. still sad for whats gone.
No voice lines or level up animation is bad, having a few new cards in her package is okay, and the character feels kinda Vaynee...
Gotta love the absolute dip in quality within just 1 year
Mordekaiser was right, he really is the death bringer
OMG the bearded body guard is a playable card!! I love himmm 😍😍😍✨
Maybe it this was all the game ever was it would be fine…but it used to be so much more which makes this so sad to see, effort clearly was made in the art but the whole package is just so impacted
Wow. How disappointing. Terrible music, no flavour, recycled animations. What a sad reflection of the direction this game is taking.
It's painful considering how awesome this could have been. The ideas for Ambessa and Warwick are really cool and could have been a genuinely good basis for a small package each. This really hurts
Same feeling as Heroes of the Storm downfall
Instead of killing the game, why not just make a seasonal pack where after 6 months the game will start your collection again. But instead of 3 copies, the card you already have only need one copies.
Introduce a gacha system, monetize it properly.
I would rather have a game than a dead one
At least they could make her use League's voice lines.
Don't mind the haters, I appreciate you folks at Riot continuing to improve and expand the game, inch by inch. Keep up the good work.
Honestly lor used to be one of my favourite games, I used to literally rant to my friends on how much I loved this game, I understand there is budget cuts and I feel for the Devs but this is just sad to see how far it's fallen. Literally what like 4/5 cards in a new expansion
The absolute state of the game now
nah this is NOT what I downloaded this game for
Is yo gi oh making more money than lor ? Im confused
I understand that there is little budget, I can understand that maybe they wanted to speed up the process to upload new content, but this game can never lack love or personality, those of us who really play this game know how to be patient and that has led the game to very great achievements, if we were told that an update must be delayed to NOT present things like screenshots for illustrations or most importantly the lack of animation of new champions then there would be no problem, but this is disappointing and disrespectful to us players and the identity of the game.🤕
wellp, it's unfortunate, but this is the last straw, goodbye LoR
Wow! thanks daddy Rito, just what the whole community wanted!
im gonna be real, its understandable cause of the budge cuts, but if you cant work out the flavor a champion, dont bring a new one, there's so many already in game Champs still not in the poc, better than making a new one only for poc and not even giving it level up animations or voice lines at all
is this like braindead version of vayne with even simpler rushdown?
"Most money they have ever made" doesn't necessarily mean a good amount, just more than before.
For the same reason even if they are making more money and get more support we probably wont see the effects of it until halfway through next year.
@@void2258 the point is they were able to do more with signifcantly less before, so them cutting back this much reallu doesnt make any sense
@@douglaswalker7707 This is the first content made since the budget cuts. We have been getting the last of the pre-cuts content up to now.
@@douglaswalker7707I swear riot has the dumbest community. They talked about budget cuts a year ago, you are now seeing that. The game does not make enough profit for riot to keep funding it to the extent they were before.
Riot please Mel medarda , Silco Lor New champions heroes please
We've stooped so low. This is beyond depressing
