I've already seen at least a dozen K40 upgrade videos but this series of 6 upgrade videos that you did has definitely been the best. Incredibly well built, well explained and with a totally professional functional quality. My congratulations to you for such an excellent job and thanks to the youtuble algorithm for recommending it. I bought a K40 and in the future I want to upgrade it to 80w with a bigger frame and without a doubt yours will be the model to follow. Thank you very much Philippe and stay healthy.
I finished my build of this laser. I wish I could add a pic to show you. I do have one question. This is a pretty tight build, so the exhaust struggles to draw air from the enclosure. So, I plan on adding a vent to the front of the enclosure. How did you address this issue?
@@PhilippeRommens Thank you ! I really appreciate the video series you did. Watched them already at least 4-5 times. Really inspiring and motivating to build my own. Much love and success man !
i have a 600x400 i designed with 2020 extrusion.....and a free floating motorized table.....watched your build from the beginning.....i know im going to upgrade to linear rails.....and substitute some 2040 in place's....like that your bed is integrated with x/y gantry.....only thing i have to figure out is the 3d printed parts....did you use abs for these or regular pla?......

hy, mega coole Sache! Ich denke, ich baue mir den laser auch selber! Wie viel hat das Projekt gesamt gekostet?
Looking good, thanks for sharing! I finally received all my parts. Going to be working on the electric next week and then start calibrating

Open the door at the front a little bit. Never had problems, because fan is 630l/min

I used RDWorks V8 with RD Controler.
What a good video, a shame not to activate the subtitles. Thank you so much.
Is your lid mounted camera connected directly to the computer or is it connected to the controller?
Direct PC, is software lightburn
