You come and go like a pop song is probably one of the rawest albums I’ve listened to. Bob Forrest is honest about his feelings, and tries even if his voice is shot from addiction and recent sobriety. It’s a beautiful album that means a lot to me, and just picturing a young Josh and jaded Bob figuring out life and music is just touching. Love this album

Well - I am 35 years late to this spectacular music and story of Bob and Thelonius. A late night gem of a find on Prime Video led me here. So glad Bob found sobriety and a purpose in helping others. His sobriety is an inspiration. A testament to what is possible.

Sounded great, looked great playing together, all these years later, and in the midst of these crazy times. And Culture Club and Oasis at the end. I'm a little blown away...it's almost unbelievable this was free, and remote!!
So glad this record and band is finally getting some of the recognition it deserves. Bob is such a good songwriter, and Josh has done so many good things before being known as the guitarist for RHCP.

Annoying how so many chili peppers fans shit on him just because his solos are not like johns. Absolutely petty reason to bash the guy. Can't we just all get along and let the band do what it needs to??? That's what the chili peppers want. Let them do their thing. Artists are never at their best when the fans control their direction.
He introduced me to sooo many songs with his many covers. Changed my life honestly.
Dude also plays like a dozen instruments and does it well. He's like white prince lol. Dude rocks.
And i just now found out about his work with bob forrest and I'm blown away. The more i listen to these riffs with bobs song writing/singing, the better i feel about life. That's such a powerful feeling. That's called great song writing. Love these two just as much as the chili peppers i think.

Simply legendary. Such a hidden treasure this album is. Here in Brazil we have a giant and beautiful undergound commuinity of independent artists, guess this is one the reasons this album connected to us. Thank you so much for this. I love The Bicycle Thief immensly. Hope you guys keep on playing and recording, It's extremely important for other musicians aswell, keeps my spirit alive.

Wow! Incredible that we got to see this today. It felt like we were sitting on your deck with you. Bob, your son Elvis nailed it with his bag of shells or rocks (couldn't tell). God damn I would've loved to have been one of those 3 people in the audience. So glad to finally be hearing this. One of my favorite performances I've ever heard, and the ending to cereal milk was sick as fuck. It fit the feeling the song gave me perfectly.
