Storm, Ice Report, Christmas Time

Meery Christmas guys! Ice report from the south end Lake Champlain in Ticonderoga. Ice is there, but we still have some open water. With the wind and rain in the forecast for tomorrow it will be a bit longer until we get on good ice. But it will be soon!

@@RogersRigs will do fellas ...gonna be sketchy if we get all this rain tonite...itching to get out some where we were out on smaller ponds last year day after Thanksgiving...havent drilled a single hole yet this year 🙏

Any fishable ice on smaller lakes?

@joefishstone8132, heard there is some on the smaller lakes. But nothing over a couple inches. With the rain and some of the ice having snow on it already, I would not say not much if any of it is safely fishable. However, by later on next week there should be by looking at the forecast. Always bring a spud bar to check for yourself and go with someone if you can.
