I think we know full well what the game plan will be. Loma has to break distance to land and Haney will rely on the clinch and a friendly referee - guaranteed by the way, as Loma doesn't pay any bills in America - to get a victory. Loma knows this, which is why he's trained like an animal. I hope he pulls it off, but I can't see past a points victory for Haney.

Loma is a master at not accepting a clinch. As soon as someone tries it, he gets that energy like a kid trying to slip their mom's arms in a toy store and gets out. He doesn't break the clinch. He slides down and out. It's a weird but effective technique.
Loma is 35 now and doesn’t seem to have the same unreal endurance he use to have. Haney might use that as a tactic to get him fatigued. He exerts a lot of energy trying to pull his way out of clinches.

@Tru 319 Haney is a boxer, not a huge puncher. I could see Davis potentially KO'ing Loma (or any other lightweight, for that matter), but if Haney wins, it'll probably be by decision. Loma's past his prime, but he's not Kambosos. Haney can't just jab his way to an easy win against a totally inferior opponent.
Yeah and it also makes him loose a lot of energy. This is how you can tell lomachenko still has the mindset of an amateur. He did that against Lopez and he couldn’t get free from the bigger fighter in Lopez and Devin Haney is a big 135 so he gonna have trouble with the reach especially since Haney has great footwork to keep the distance. Plus loma is a slow starter and has to feel comfortable to let his hands go. So if he wants to have success than he better start fast against Haney.
