All that to check the gap on the plugs. Just as well those NGK platinum plugs will last a 100,000 miles before they need replacing. I can remember a time when all you needed to change spark plugs or check plug gap was a solitary plug removal tool, now you seem to have to bring a Tool box with you.
Get the 9/16 or 14mm spark plug socket or have the magnet pickup tool that is small to pull the spark plugs out. U can loosen with the deep socket but u need the magnet or the spark plug socket to pull it out. I never knew that opening could be that narrow! I went and bought a magnet and the magnet was too big. Next trip I bought a thinner magnet then decided to just buy the socket in case the magnet couldn't lift the plug. Socket was nearly 10 dollars but the magnet pulled it out. Returning the socket. Ordered a set of 5 on Amazon for 11 dollars. I'll just have extras. Good luck. Wasn't a hard job. Just tedious and excessive for NO reason! Hours of work!
Hello A1 crew first off I love your videos very detailed and step by step directions. However I don't know the names to all the parts. Plz can you tell me what is the name of the hose that is connected to the valve cover, pcv valve. This hose is ripped at the lip and needs to be replaced but I'm having trouble finding the name of the hose?

Dam! You have to remove all of that just to change the plugs and coil. That's why I like my Honda Civic. One of the most easiest car to work on.
thank you for this detailed video. i was able to do this twice as my problem was a bad coil #1
Jeez. All that just to change spark plugs
