This is my favorite basement gym because of the exceptional use of a small space and the premium feel of it all. I’ve seen countless home gyms and have one of my own so I love watching these. The way you set things up is top notch
You really have everything up off the floor and nicely organized. That’s a good lesson for me as my basement floods occasionally. Optimal organization and utilization of equipment. Very nice indeed!
Great home gym, Marcus! If the fat pad came with the ML bench press then they account that for. From Rogue website: Please Note: No matter which pad option you choose, it will measure a standard 17.5” off the ground. Units ordered with a fat pad are shipped with a shorter front foot and back crossmember to maintain this consistent pad height.
Great tour and use of the space! I like how you sold your Rogue Echo Bike in favor of the Peleton. I just did the opposite. But at the end of the day, people should do the exercises they like! Looking forward to the review of the Freak Athlete.
Thanks a bunch Carter! I love what you've done with your gym lately and all of the updates/changes have been awesome to see. It's like they grow with us.
I watched your old PR 4000 video again just the other day; that is the rack I have in part due to your video. Nice updates and additions to the gym. And another great video. Thanks Marcus
Thanks. Not VERY tall, but tall enough for the 83" uprights (barely). When I do pull-ups, the lack of sheetrock on the floor joists above allow me to stick my head between two of them! 😂
I really need to do a video. I have also sold stuff on Facebook Marketplace to make space for something else. After three rearrangements, I have it functional and exactly perfect for my workouts.
Great video! Awesome gym too! I have QuickDraws also. You have no issues with Bowflex stand? I think rep is coming out with a stand for the reppin and QuickDraw, supposedly for both, and I was thinking of getting something that works in case they don’t come out with a multi functioning stand.
Tough one to choose...The flats are great, but there's a lot of surface for the bar to roll forward and backwards. The rounds solve that problem by having just a channel for the bar, but the front lip is a bit tall. They each have their merits and faults.
Hey! You have quite the set-up and have given me some ideas about how I'd like to change my own. I do have a question: how do you use the Rogue brackets that are attached to your back cross-member?
Thank you. I usually hang chains, or rope attachments and that kind of thing from them. They are overkill, but I like to keep things neat and within reach. A carabiner from them can hold lots of items.
Thanks for watching. At my height and with the 83" uprights, I sometimes hit the anchor with plates when walking out squats. The dock is tucked nicely at the back, instead, but both are great.
Awesome setup. Extremely efficient. I’m interested in those specialty bars. In your opinion is the rackable curl bar worth it? Same goes for the Swiss bar (even though you haven’t used it in a while)
Thanks! The curl bar yes. The Swiss bar is also great, but if you’re competing, I think it’s best to stick with a Powerbar for bench. Hence my limited use these days
Yeah, you might be thinking about the other way around. it fits snugly because Rogue uprights are slightly bigger than reps. Rogue jcups are loose on Reps uprights
Yeah, knowledge is king and I probably would’ve gone with what I wanted from the start, rather than “testing” cheaper stuff. Buy once cry once! I haven’t done the math in quite some time, but I’d estimate between 20-30K.
Clean space!
Appreciate ya Brandon!

Really appreciate the kind words Benjamin!
That is an amazing set up. I don’t think you could have designed it any better. Fully functional and tons of capability. Impressive!
Thanks 🙏

Thanks Andy! Yes, for basements, it’s a good idea but it also eliminates trip hazards and the organization makes it efficient to use.
Nice, digging that Ghost Strong barbell jack, jelly!
Yeah, it’s unfortunate they don’t make/sell them anymore
Awesome space, Marcus! So much functionality packed into that space!!!
Thanks Phil - not unlike your space!
Love the color schemes. Everything comes together so well!
Thank you!
That's a solid setup for a gym!
Thanks!
Looks really, really good, bro! Nice equipment choices and great aesthetics. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Thanks Brandon
Very nice place!!
Thanks!
Nice evolution of your gym Marcus, so clean!
Thanks Joe - appreciate you!

Thanks Jose. Yeah, that’s what I was supposed to get, and was assured it would be the right height, but it wasn’t.
Looks awesome, TB! Congrats on the new NH too!
Thanks man! Looking forward to putting it through the paces

thank you! Yes, it's funny you mention the Peloton because the guy who bought my Rogue Echo says he was selling his Peleton!
Thanks for the update! Keep it coming!!!
You bet!
Awesome gym that's well organized 💪
Thank you
You've made great use of your space Marcus! I love the overall look and the equipment you've chosen. One of the top home gyms out there 👌
Thanks a bunch Carter! I love what you've done with your gym lately and all of the updates/changes have been awesome to see. It's like they grow with us.
@@twistedbarbell3950 Thanks brother! It never ends 🥴😆
Awesome. Very aesthetically pleasing.
Thank you kindly!
Very Nice 👌🏼!
Thanks
Amazing well kept space. Looks very inviting to train Marcus!
Thank you Hugh!

Thanks for watching Mark and I’m glad I could help with some of your decisions
Yes! Love it! 🫡
Thanks
Nice gym!
Thanks!
Great gym👌
Thanks!
Very nice and clean gym.
Thanks Daniel
What’s Good? The Big Marcus Basement Gym!
What’s good Coach!
Favorite monster flavor!!!??? I miss my heavy bag but just never used it enough
Oddly enough, I stumbled on a pineapple flavor that I like! 😂
@@twistedbarbell3950 so just monster pineapple? I am intrigued
@@NoFate247 the plain white can Zero is my main go to, but I also like the green (apple?) flavor.
Life goals for me man!
Thanks Nick and best of luck achieving all of your life goals man!
Dang brother…been a minute. Glad you ok!
lol, yeah, all good and thanks man!
Very nice
Thanks
Holy your basement ceiling looks tall, very lucky!
Thanks. Not VERY tall, but tall enough for the 83" uprights (barely). When I do pull-ups, the lack of sheetrock on the floor joists above allow me to stick my head between two of them! 😂
Nice 🏋♂️
Thanks ✌

You should Mark! It takes some time and versions to feel satisfied with your results.
Great video! Awesome gym too!

Thanks Jason and yes, no issues with the Bowflex stand
Sweet setup! Do you prefer the Rep round sandwich J cups or the flat sandwich J cups?
Tough one to choose...The flats are great, but there's a lot of surface for the bar to roll forward and backwards. The rounds solve that problem by having just a channel for the bar, but the front lip is a bit tall. They each have their merits and faults.

@@Drumz_of_Liberation my pleasure and good luck!
Thanks for the video.
What's the reason why you've switched your Darko Lifting Barbell Anchor to The Dock?
Thanks for watching. At my height and with the 83" uprights, I sometimes hit the anchor with plates when walking out squats. The dock is tucked nicely at the back, instead, but both are great.

Do you still have your x-mark barbell? I’ve had mine for a few years now and I love it!
I do not actually. Guy who bought my Rogue echo bike asked if he could buy some bars off me and I sold him the pair of XMarks (Olympic and ez curl).
Shocked to hear that rep 5/8 accessories working snugly on rogue monster uprights. Hmmmmm
Yeah, you might be thinking about the other way around. it fits snugly because Rogue uprights are slightly bigger than reps. Rogue jcups are loose on Reps uprights
For sure! Thanks!
Is there a price range you can say for how much all of this costed? is there anything you would have done different from the start to save some costs
Yeah, knowledge is king and I probably would’ve gone with what I wanted from the start, rather than “testing” cheaper stuff. Buy once cry once! I haven’t done the math in quite some time, but I’d estimate between 20-30K.
