That toggle button! My nemesis! Really enjoyed that! I think after having my two hour fumbling about session, I'll be much more productive in the next one! I still don't understand the research tree though!
The remove and place item button literally show you the up arrow is away from a container and the down arrow towards one. So that seems logical to me, but I can understand i might not be to everyone. A better option would maybe be for the icon just to say "in" and "out..... What do you think?
Yeah it's not really about not understanding what each button does, it just seems backwards to me. Don't think I've ever seen it that way around but you get used to it pretty quickly. In and Out would definitely work but would it take away from the machine like look? I dunno, a lot of this episode was me fumbling around being dumb 🤣
The items in yellow are items that are crafted automatically, before the main thing you want to craft can be built.... If you don't have enough material, they would be red. You can see in the crafting window bottom left, that it crafts the yellow items in a smaller window inside the bigger crafting display and then it crafts the main item in the bigger display....
I've got the hang of it now. It's an expandable and collapsing tree so it allows you to follow the lineage downwards from the specific item set you're looking at. Very cool, but not obvious!

research is confusing, It should tell you what to research in order to reach the item you want to research......
