    I just realized that the "oops the wind" line in the compensation construction job sketch had to be him referencing when he said it this pilot sketch. Never noticed before.

    i've watched this sketch a thousand times and i've just realized how hilarious Dave is here. Bruce and Scott are amazing, but when you pay attention to Dave, it's just amazing. "where was my head???"

    When I was a kid, no one could say "cancer" above a whisper on TV or in public or anywhere. Like it was a swear word. Isn't that crazy?

      Rensie Niltiac Who said the series went downhill from the first season? You can have a favorite sketch from any season. Are you just trying to be rude for no reason?

    My God, this entire skit is crammed with quotable lines. Dave was good in a bit part, but this was the first skit of the Thompson/McCulloch pairing: the McCartney/Lennon of KitH. They did so much good stuff together (Kathy/Cathy, anyone?).
    Scott has his own perfect style, but Bruce was my secret KitH flame: muscles, boy next door looks and a heart/brain of pure surrealism...

    Its not the fact that its canadian that makes it awesome.
    Remember that Canada gave us the Royal Canadian Air Farce and they suck.
    Truly brilliant humor can pop up anywhere at anytime.
    You cant predict it and you cant manufacture it, it just happens.

    • @nebulousisgod
      @nebulousisgod 6 років тому

      If it “just happens” then how is it brilliant? No, I believe it takes some manufacturing most of the time, in a feasibly normal reality. You need the theme, the delivery, punchline, good timing, etc. BUT I could agree that at least comedic inspiration can pop up anywhere at anytime.

    • @keithklassen5320
      @keithklassen5320 3 роки тому +2

      Yeah but Jim Carrey, John Candy, Martin Short, Eugene Levy, all were Canadian.

    • @JonathanRodd
      @JonathanRodd 3 роки тому

      @@keithklassen5320 true. But those people you named popped up over a span of 30-40 years or more. Also, I'm sure if you ask any comedy fan from any other country they could probably name a decent list of comedians from their country as well :P
