I was born in 1960. I remember thinking I wish I had magical powers. I could zap myself out of my own house every time my parents were drunk or fighting.🥲
I had a friend whos mom wouldn’t let him watch this show because witches are evil, but I Dream Of Jeanie was ok because Genies are “make believe”. Lol.
@@seanseoltoir If it was part of their culture to remove a child from her parents due to her now being found to be a witch, Samantha would've known about it. She was shocked that they said they'd take Tabitha away. She had no idea they'd do anything like that. If it was part of their witchcraft culture she wouldn't have been so proud that Tabitha was a witch, she'd have been afraid of her being so because it would mean she'd lose her.
There was an episode where Endora told her brother (uncle) Arthur that she was an only child until Arthur was born. I’m sure Aunt Enchantra is older than Endora. Not sure about Aunt Hagatha’s age.
Well... James didn't accept witches and Samantha denied her roots to marry him. They probably wouldn't let their daughter be a witch and raise her to deny her powers and be a normal girl.
I remember seeing this on the air in prime time. I was born in 1960 and I was too young to realize how drop-dead gorgeous Elizabeth Montgomery was.
Bewitched always followed I Dream of Jeannie in syndication when I was little. Barbara Eden’s beauty kind of eclipsed anyone else’s.
Same age but fell in love at first sight.😁
She was a doll

@@lauriepolden6594I get it.i would love to zap out of here when the arguing starts.
Such a proud moment for Samantha and Endora, given Tabitha’s parentage 👏 ❤
Indeed 🪄🧙❤️‼️
Aunt Clara and the cape. 😂😂
Seeing this reminds me of what WandaVision did such a good job with paying homage to this sitcom ✨️
"What else is kinda drippy?" 😂
I Liked it the way they tested Tabitha.
Remember watching when the show came on during prime time
That cute little girl recently announced on Twitter that she has just celebrated her 60th birthday… 😉
Oh but we all know what happened when they tried to take Tabatha away from Sam and Darrin and Maurice heard about it… 🤣🤣😂👍🏻
That was actually Adam
@@TheKingT17it was Tabitha. Season 3, episode 3, the very episode this clip is from.
@@TheKingT17It was Tabitha but there WAS a similar episode involving Adam later on in the series.
Wow I've never seen this one before and I've seen most numerous times over
Me too!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Oh right, this was the "Samantha goes postal" episode
Estelle Winwood was still lovely at 80 years old.
LOOOOVED her in the original film of "The Producers" by Mel Brooks.
Lol I was born in 1967:but if you ask my son I was born when dinosaurs were around
Just saw Tabs in Westy H… she is so sweet❤
I feel like this influenced the 90’s Sabrina teenage Witch. Very similar vibes.
Since "Bewitched" every generation gets its magic show. "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and another cohort had "Wizards of Waverley Place."
Best Darren!❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why does this remind me of the charmed series?😊
Bewitched was decades before Charmed.
No letter from Hogwarts for Tabitha.
She got the mudblood.
LOL 🦉📩
Well said 🤭🫡 .
Humans Emit a Low Grade Frequency. . . .🥴
I like that show they don't show it any more
I think some people on here think this is a reality show and not a sitcom, judging from the comments. 😂😂😂😂😂

Samantha is bada$$.
Is Aunt Agatha one of the Maids un Mary Poppins?
Yes, and she was the cook to Hope Lang on The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, and to Jane Wyman in Pollyanna.
Reta Shaw.
Thanks for the info! Most appreciated!
I hope those old hags weren't planning to take Tabitha away from Samantha and Darrin. They'd have no right.
I think they'd have a heck of a fight on their hands!
And who are you to think that you have any say in how another culture behaves?

Would they have tested Tabitha if her father was a warlock?
Good Question! But I believe yes, they would have because Samantha was sent to Hagatha's school. They tested for strength and level.
@@gidzmobug2323 they did. They returned to test Adam’s powers when he was Tabitha’s age.

I think it adds to the warm fuzzy nostalgia
