The downfall is the camera man i regret upgrading from a54. I deal with photography a lot the a54 always deliver for me. The a55 is downgrade from the a54 when it comes to camera.
Bro first off all the geekbench score isnt right on the a55 is supposed to get 3444 on multi amd 1150 in single score and antutu is supposed to be 744,000 on a55💀
What I find impressive about the Samsung A55 is that they are comparing it with the new generation of Redmi, when the A55 came out its direct competition was the Note 13 pro+ and now the Note 14 Pro+ and it still comes out the winner in many aspects compared to the new Xiaomi generation. On the other hand, although the Redmi cores are more modern, the Samsung cores achieve more GHz, as does the GPU, so the Samsung still has a lot of room for improvement with optimization. I would only choose the Redmi for the battery and its beautiful screen, other than that, I feel that Samsung offers better things.
Huh? Redmi has a faster processor, better battery life, faster charging, better cameras under low light, better GPU, better display, and the base model of each which are priced around the same Redmi gets you 4gb of RAM more and 128GB extra storage. The only real advantages are marginal better performance with video and camera in good light and arguably preferable OS, plus one more update. Which is mitigated by Redmi having more RAM and power, not to mention battery, for longevity. It would make more sense to compare the A55 to the baseline Redmi 14 Pro specs wise. The Plus is clearly the better device,
@@danielsacilotto6235 I think you are not fully analyzing the internal features. And that's fine, indeed the 14 pro+ has many superior features, such as the screen, battery, perhaps the cameras. But there is something that you are not analyzing, it is assumed that n14pro+ is the new generation, and it should have a considerable difference at least in performance, and this is not the case, the 7S gen 3 is effectively using new core technology (A720) which does not suggest a considerable difference in performance, but rather in efficiency, the "core" performance of the 7S gen 3 does not exceed 2.5 GHz, the Exynos 1480 with Their A78 reaches 2.75Ghz. When they start the performance comparison and all this, the Redmi will probably take the lead due to its new, more "optimized" cores, but you will notice that for a new generation, the difference is going to be ridiculous, which causes a lot of disappointment because you realize that the mid-range remains stagnant in terms of performance

I came from Redmi Note 10 Pro. I was happy with it, but I have to upgrade my phone because Xiaomi abandoned its updates too soon! Less than 3 years!!! I also got tired of Miui with random Chinese text here and there. I was also upset that they didn't apply a few nice features on the Global ROM. In todays digital world, security is very important. I made a switch to Samsung even though it's more expensive because of its longer OS support and security updates. So far, I'm happy with my a55. You can do a lot with OneUI while in MIUI, you're very limited. The ads and Chinese text are annoying.
I'm also using the redmi note 10 pro i will buy the a55 in a few days The battery on this phone is almost dead (i have to charge it 3 times a day) many lags especially if it goes down to 10% and it overheats This phone has served me well but it's time to say goodbye to it

Have to be Samsung just cos of its reputation, screen, one ui and os updates longevity. Having said that, Samsung has to look behind its back at every turn cos Redmi, Pixel and some transsion devices are causing loyal base to take a 2nd look with their recent releases. Great comparison bruh 👏🏾

If u want Samsung old flagship make sure it was a new one with package sealed cuz Samsung second hand phone are trash according to my personal experience
It doesn't seem that close honestly. Cameras during good lighting are comparable if the Samsung is still superior, but in low light Redmi takes it by a long margin. Has a faster processor, a better display, better battery life, faster charging, and you get for the base model 4 more gb of RAM and twice the storage, which is very important for longevity, arguably more than one OS update more, particularly considering it also has a faster processor so it is bound to last longer. 128GB of storage is really not very much these days, and without expandable storage the base a55 seems destined to short life... Also, with the cameras, this is literally a new device so it hasn't had any software update optimizations yet. I am a bit surprised to see the 14 Pro Plus priced so closely to the 14 Pro, which seems to be a more suitable competitor to the A55 specs wise. Unless one really doesn't like the Redmi OS or there's local compatibility broadband issues... I don't see why anyone would pick the Samsung. The thing that kills me with these things is why they don't have expandable storage. It's seriously almost like a planned obsolescence scheme.
a55 is a heavy THICK BRICK, that's why I left it in the shop when it arrived there to try in hand and so should you also do because it really is way too thick and too heavy and it has those ugly too wide black bezels on all 4 sides. Easy win therefore to Note 14 Pro+ 👍🏻. Another one to consider is OnePlus Nord 4 which looks ultramodern compared to a55 and has a better main camera and a unique metal back and gets 4 OS upgrades + 6 years of security patches. Nord 4 has a flat superb screen too and it's CPU beats both these hands down and is a performance beast.
Will desire a comparison between the redmi note 14 pro plus and the redmi note 13 pro plus. And if an upgrade is advisable Thank you. I hope my comment get considered this time.
