Doomguy vs 40K Space Marine - Majorkill Debunked
One of the biggest topics within the DOOM community, is wether or not Doomguy could defeat a Space Marine/Astartes from Warhammer 40K. Well, Majorkill did a video about that topic almost three years ago, just a couple of weeks after DOOM Eternal had released, and well, let's just say that video has some kind of bad reputation in regards of DOOM powerscaling.

Ofc I’m a power scaler and I know the lore, the Doomslayer is Universal to Multiversal levels to put simply compared to Space Marines who are usually just building level on average but there are stronger ones ofc, some who can fight city destroying entities, some who can fight Country level to planetary level Daemons in the material world, like Living Saints and other top tiers but nothing is a threat to the slayer till we get to the Warp.
It would make sense Doom Guy meet the gray knight. Because the gray knight are literal rip off of doomguy they kill and huny demons. Imagine the gray knight meet him? They will worship him the demon slayer!
When it comes to the avg standarder SM that Empire made and not new ones ,without their armor, are not as physically strong as u described. Also 3M even with their power armor is not a SM height , that is a Primark hight. SM are max on avg 2.2m - 2.4m. Older version of SM are max on avg 2.2 so between 2m and 2.2m tall with the armor. Their power armor adds significant many times more strength than their own bodies and max out muscler fiber output. Having more breathing power increases physical profomuse.
So the old acutal SM without powerarmor can deadlift max 2T and run 50km/h for long period of time like a horse does and 80-100k for a fast dash. Reaction time on avg 0.1 - 0.01 sec. Basically even with armor they are not even 1% close to Spiderman.
However, the crazy stuff is done by expansional units and individuals ,as well Psyichers. A Psyich SM is basically ,especially like Thousands Sons A+ level Psyichers, mixing Shazam with Superman and more on avg.
So the avg SM even new type are 30% as strong as protrude them.
Doom guy is more to be compared to the likes of Signouance not the standard solder SM or Custodian or Gray knights.
Even if u want to go by stupid way , u should be comparing Gray Knights to the Doom guy - not SM standard Astarties.

@@AryAgni-AryA Cough Cough the 1000 marines thing is BS it's been a long standing thing in 40k, one marine has take over a planet in the lore, but not all worlds are made equal, so though he was deliberately nerfing marines (feats of str, the tactics bit to name some) a few time in this video, our big mean Demon killing machine still wins.

All of the 4 chaos gods can't even take over a single galaxy, heck even Khorne which supposedly being the most serious of all 4 chaos gods in Warhammer 40K's current timeline, failed to takeover Earth/Terra TWICE
Meanwhile The Dark Lord feats (which Doomslayer killed), has already conquering multiple universes already
And you need very specific, pointless and fucked up rituals to do or draw chaos gods powers, unlike Argent Energy in newer Doom games' lore
There a lot of non-Warhammer 40K medias that would obliterate chaos gods by lore standards, beyond the limitations of gameplay, even emotions that leeched by chaos gods can either be denied, manipulated or be redirected to different warp gods, all while chaos gods are known for infighting, even Slaanesh in Warhammer Age of Sigmar setting can be imprisoned indefinitely by weaker forces than the "1 million worlds" Imperium (with some cracks here and there, but Slaanesh is still put into major weaknesses and proven how chaos gods are still tangible and vulnerable, only that they're hard to kill by Warhammer franchises' mortal characters' limitations)

We need to go get that guy who did Astartes from whatever dungeon games workshop has him in.
The idea is excellent, but only if there was invented a new Hollywood. Nowhere in the history of cinema, a movie based on a video game was at least mediocre. Look what they did to Halo and DOOM already from the 90's 'til recently.
I thought this was a great idea at the time. But with how the movie/TV show industry ruined Doomguy and Master Chief already, my expectations are quite low. I do have some hope that we might get a decent show with Warhammer 40k, since Henry Cavill is leading the project.
Majorkill was scaling the Doom Slayer based on gameplay mechanics it seems, rather than lore.

Genetically engineered super soldiers designed to go up to xenos, or physical entities that are bound to real world physics, utilizing large weaponry and a large platoon
Doom guy: Had to fight demons from another universe that runs off entirely differing rules, and fought a one man army against them in their own world for millennia, killing some that were supposed to be unkillable, and only uses guns because they like them

@weybye91 The Warp in Its enterity is a 2-B to 2-A construct. The Slayer is 2-A on a low ball 1-C to 1-B on a mid ball and with a new meta Low 1-A on a high ball.

@@Midnighthalo eh, Majorkill made a bad comparison, he did it in the fight between the SM librarian and vader too, The librarian should have won that fight, i'd say my strenght classification goes: The Emperor of Mankind (depending if the slayer is immune to warp powers such as time stopping soul delete and from which lore the emperor power come from)->The doom slayer ------>>>>>>Space Marine Librarian->Vader->space marine
(this is a power level scale, not counting strenght, the emperor is physically weaker than the Slayer, however the emperor can beat the slayer by using his powers)
In the end however, it all comes to which lore we are talking about (codex, book, edition...)

I could had swore that Doom guy is too OP. Doom guy is literally up to the level of 40K Khorne and all the Chaos Gods. Doom Guy is not just a weapons tactics but a brute who can endure the harshest amount of damage.

Based on feats, Doom Guy *maybe* can take on a Greater Daemon. Daemon Prince Angron alone would curbstomp him, let alone Khorne himself.
@@nuclear1617Davoth (the god Doomguy killed) literally created their home hyperverse, and is outright stated to be unkillable by anything below his power level.
Admittedly, some of his power was stolen and given to Doomguy, but now Doomguy has ALL of Davoth's power.

It would probably more like turn out that suddenly the forces of chaos attack and Doomguy und the Space Marine have a common target. After seeing demons running away in fear from Doomguy it could also be that they declare him a saint sent by the Emperor.
Nah, would be more like the demons attacking the space marins universe, then they can push the demons back but they keep coming until the doom slayer arrives and they see that the demons are scared of him and stop attacking the world

@@Creminson no he does not have the power of davoth and no where is it ever stated he gained his power plus as we can see with davoth he has so few hax that it does not come close to the emperor as well as his power being able to be taken away from him
@@sigismund7463 It's the game's representation. The doomslayer gained his power by being fused with a shard of Davoth. Due to time constraints (the one year season pass, as stated in the video) they couldn't show the literal creator's power. They probably also had limited budget.

I would argue he's capable of using tactics as the game incentivises knowing what weapons to use when, when to toss out a frost grenade, when to use the flame thrower, when to break out the saw, and when to use power weapons, if you just use any weapon whenever the game absolutely will kill you.
Not to mention the maruaders required a lot of tactics to beat. Needing to wait for openings, striking specific spots.
I'm so proud of Majorkill for making one of the most badass SFM animation. Doomslayer and Space Marine put up a HELL of a fight 🔥🔥🔥

Its crazy that some people still think a space marine could kill doom guy, like I love the 40k universe, but doom guy is just on a whole another power level compared to anything in the 40k, the only thing that could pose a threat to him would be the emperor just because he is a powerful psyker, other than that doom guy is literaly a god who is invulnerable to any kind of damage and uses weapons just because he likes weapons
Hell, he could even be capable of fighting with the Emperor even, considering that he could potentially be outversal (otherwise just being hyperversal) since he killed Davoth, the equivalent of God *and* Devil who created basically an infinite multiverse, and additionally killed a Titan butt-naked before he even got his Praetor Suit (which also buffed him a lot).

Which is ironic considering that Khorne is technically the strongest chaos god in 40th Millennium with the supposedly "in the grimdarkness of far future, there is only war" tagline of the ongoing settings
Like sure, they got buffed in-lore timeline but only from ridiculous factors of different circumstances, chaos gods require very specific rituals and astrological/astronomical entanglements (on top of ridiculous amount of excess) to be more powerful than usual or even just summoned to realspace/Materium, but even that at most are consigned to interstellar level at least aside from Great Rift/Cicatrix Maledictum (which is a recent addition to buffing The Warp/Immaterium powers and it's technically empowers all Psykers, including Enthroned Emperor and other Imperium psykers alongside anti-Chaos Xenos Psykers, not just Chaos-aligned counterparts nor just chaos gods themselves)

Bruh, You're confusing Warhammer 40K lore ambiguity and pussied out "everything is canon but not everything is true" statement with DOOM lore which is very explicit saying of how powerful Doom Slayer, Davoth and other characters in that FPS IP, I swear Warhammer 40K fanboys making up conjecture without even offering evidences, even flavour texts to Black Library novels and promotional army codex lore are reeks of unreliable narrators, red herrings diagetic/non-diagetic/metadiagetic bullshit compared to DOOM's more explicit flavour texts and cutscenes

Um, nope...? The DOOM franchise actually isn't super great at solidly establishing character power levels.
For example, they seem to want to hype up Doomguy as Jesus, yet still depict him and his foes fighting at somewhat humanly perceivable scales (E.G uses of guns and mech suits to fight each other).
Hell, even characters like Davoth had explicitly lost their powers at the time of their fights with the Slayer.

If you're talking about the more flowery prose statements (Stuff like "entire universes were snuffed out with a thought), then fair.
But let me warn you, if you start resorting to the "everything is actually unreliable Imperial propaganda" sentiment, then don't expect me to take you seriously.

Okay that's great, but I have to ask another question; are you trying to say that Doomguy 'clears' the Warhammer setting, or are you being a contrarian because you find me annoying?
Inconsistency or not, Doomguy is (generally) not depicted at the same scale as the higher-end Warhammer characters.

For starters, why does this scale matter...? Plenty of smaler settings match-surpass Warhammer either way, even WHFB/AOS has characters who would be scary by Warhammer standards.
And even then, Warhammer is not confined to a singular galaxy, we literally have characters who have been to over galactic realms in the past (Ollanius Perrson and the Silent King) plus foreign factions like the Tyranids. There's also the fact that some depictions of the Warp have it connect to other universes.

As someone who has spent hours debating these two topics, I am going to have to disagree.
Star Wars, while capable of keeping up with Warhammer, generally struggles to deal with high-end stuff. What is the Empire going to do when the Necrons begin pulling out War in Heaven era superweapons? (The recently released Pariah Nexus book showed us quite a few fun AdMech and Necron superweapons. Oh, and don't forget the Key of Infinity from that new Ahriman novel).
It doesn't help that characters like Abeloth and the Ones of Mortis are too featless to justify taking on Warhammer deities.
I also should point out that it's not really 'fair' to declare that Warhammer is weaker than Halo because of ancient factions like the Forerunners. 40k also used to have vaguely powerful ancient factions. War in Heaven era Necrons, the Eldar Empire at it's peak, the Enslavers, the Old Ones, the C'tan, Dark Age of Technology-era humanity, Krorks, etc.
I mean hell, even the Chaos Gods got a massive boost recently due to The End and the Death Volumes I-III, thanks to Horus almost ending the Imperium alongside the Dark King's failed ascension and a bunch of Dan Abnett hype statements.

I mean, sure I guess? Doomguy *has* taken on relatively large hell-titans and won in the past, even without his gear, whereas Custodes often struggle with the likes of Imperial Knights and Titans (ever read that one passage where a Custodes gets vaporized by a knight's Melta cannon, or when one got crushed by a Great Unclean One?).
Though, while this is a viable interpretation, it's also not depicted on-screen, meaning we don't have a good idea of just *how* Doomguy fights in those examples. It's far safer to go off of the gameplay/cut scene feats.
Actually Hugo in a stream confirmed that Doomguy using his argent energy abilities can amplify his weapons to hit harder. Also in canon of the weapons he uses, they all fire argent energy rounds. My head cannon is that he specifically only collects weapons that fire AE issue rounds as he has the abilities to overload them

Tbh just based on feats I think the Slayer is more comparable to a Primarch than he is to your average Space Marine. Space Marines can still be killed by conventional weaponry, amd struggle against or are outright outmatched by several of the. enemies they find themselves fighting against. The Slayer kills Hell Titans and greater demons on the regular, and (albeit greatly amped) defeated Davoth. Imo it would take at least a Primarch to bring him down, and probably one of the stronger Primarchs at that.
A primarch couldn't harm him. His armor makes him immune to anything but demonic attacks. Only demonic entities can hurt him but their energy also heals him.

He takes the whole warhammer 40k universe. Don't speak about gameplay, because in the game, Space Marines can get killed by some Imperial Guardsmen or Chaos cultists.

There are countless beings in Warhammer that can do the same or completely solo the Doomguy not even because of power but also in speed and he could easily be beaten by the Emperor of mankind since the Emperor has beaten countless chaos gods in battle (not all of them) and there's more than enough chaos gods that could easily overpower doomguy since doomguy gets stronger every enemy he kills the chaos god Slaneesh could easily absorb all his energy or essence and even if Doomguy can come back stronger he can easily get his energy absorbed again and outmatched by the chaos gods. He defeated a "God" that wasn't a very strong god and it's stupid since the Father God of doomguy had his essence in a orb that could be easily smashed while the gods in 40k don't have their souls on orbs.

Another thing to say is the soldier demons use human weaponry too.
But i would agree that he would win a fight due to him killing uncountable amount of demons, killing god like entities, and kill the creator of all things without a scratch, so even if gameplay was lore, he would still win considering all of hell is scared of him. And at the end of the day the marines are still human, The slayer is a god second to none, and he is so pissed at demons that he killed so many that if they know he is there they will prioritize him over anything else.
Edit: Also if the multiverse exist that means somewhere he has most likely faced them already.

as a fan of both doom and warhammer 40k the fact that doom slayer is just being compared to your run of the mill tac squad member and not a named character such as dante or even a no name captain makes no sense to me. based on lore doom slayer would stomp your standard space marine they arent really that much more physically dangerous then a hell knight or even a pinky of whom the slayer kills by the dozens with ease and even when you add in the gear and other edges a tac marine has they still get shredded by the slayer. really the only thing they got over him is the fact he cant heal from killing them.
To be fair that was old majorkill, if he look at it now he's probably realize that he's wrong on so many things about it and would probably do a better job retelling the fight

Oh no comparing doom guy to a space marine is just crazy. Doom guy would solo the Tyranid army win in a day just so he could get back to hell and continue killing demons.
One of the biggest gameplay-backed points that could also be brought up is how Doomguy, while he was still a basic human, managed to repel not just one, but THREE world-ending invasions.
If it takes just about one chapter to invade a whole planet (which by 40K standards can either be a little or a lot, due to how other forces are scaled alongside them), then that means he arguably resisted the equivalent of three whole chapters. How much they might compare to a demonic invasion is probably debatable, but I mean, the fact remains that he was essentially AT HIS WEAKEST during that time, and has since then become supercharged beyond belief along with being granted nigh indestructible armor to where he'd no longer have to even try to achieve the same feats.
So by all manners of common sense and lore measurements, it's essentially an absolute no-brainer on him being able to take on a single space marine of most any variety. The Primarchs and Emperor/gods are bound to put up far more of an even fight by comparison to where it's hard to say who really comes out on top (unstoppable force versus indestructible wall type situation), but anything lesser than them is guaranteed to be overcome by the Slayer.
We should just remind everyone that the dooms slayer only uses guns because he likes them, they shoot far and they're cool

Remember, the doom slayer's goal is to make the demons suffer, by cutting them, breaking limbs, tearing flesh, piercing through the body.
So yeah, it's just his own choice, he could exterminate the demons easily, wich he did.
Simply put: the only way to truly simulate his full power is to activate the invincibility cheat along with the constant berserk cheat in order to instakill everything he comes across, and even then it'd probably be a bit slow by comparison.

I am pretty sure Doom Guy would be perceived as Ordo Maleus special breed of Eversor Assasin if Astartes ever saw him. So you can easily transfer Doomguy into Wh40k - also, Eversor can punch am Astartes to death trough his power armor using only fists (in lore - see "Nemesis").

I have to agree with your statements for the most part. One thing that bothers me is that ppl loves to smash the Doomslayer against nameless, basic space marines. The doomslayer is meant to be THE toughest guy in his IP, why are we seeing him fight a nameless soldier? If we want a fair match, we should have him fight THE strongest members of their respective IPs.

Chaos Gods? No. The Chaos Gods are Abstract and they can't be harmed by conventional means, you can't kill Rage with a Sword. The Chaos Gods are just emotions coagulated into a consciousness, they're the embodiment of certain emotions and concepts which Mortals subject to. So, even if you "killed" Khorne or any other Chaos God somehow, they'll just reappear.
He would have to kill every single living being in the 40k universe, since the only way to defeat the chaos gods is to destroy all intelligent life.

DoomSlayer would single-handedly put Alucard himself on a run; and given Slayer's body count, he could EASILY mow through the #lifehack of Alucard's 2.4 million ish souls; most of which arent armed anywhere close anyway. In that regard, Slayer would also be able to go toe to toe with that JoeJoe clown thing. Past them, even beings like Xelloss (from the anime Slayers, a very, very literal demon monster with obscene powers) would have an extremely difficult time killing Slayer, but in the case of Xelloss, Slayer hasnt any real weapons thatd hurt Xelloss.
Past them, hard to come up with a foe that could, without 'cheating' best DoomSlayer. Goku would stand no chance, nor would SuperDork (given that the latter is weak to magical weapons, to which DoomSlayer's sword absolutely qualifies.)

Doomguy has been fighting longer than any Space Marine has ever been alive, he is infact older than the Emperor having been in hell for Billions of years. During that time he has fought the endless hordes of hell, growing stronger with every single demon soul he claims. He doesn’t sleep (presumably) eat or drink (presumably) and his armor is impervious to almost all forms of damage, canonically able to survive the heat of the sun.

Majorkill did Astartes vs Terminator and got it wildly wrong. He decided the Space Marine couldn't beat the latest Terminator because you need an electromagnetic weapon to disrupt the nanos... the Space Marine was literally equipped with a plasma pistol (electromagnetic) and a THUNDER HAMMER (no explanation needed). Equipped with those two weapons the Astartes would murder his way through an army of Terminators and it wouldn't even be close.

I wouldn't see the Plasma Pistol as an electromagnetic weapon though - more like a super-heated projectile weapon. The Thunder Hammer is undoubtedly one.
@@Archon3960 In physics, plasma generates its own electromagnetic field and reacts strongly to electromagnetism, and according to the fandom entry, a 40k plasma pistol uses an electromagnetic bubble to contain the plasma. I don't know how strong the EM of a plasma shot is or how strong it would need to be to disrupt the nano Terminator, but it is EM.

Even against the emperor, the doom slayer would easily win. I'm no expert in warhammer lore, but big E was almost mortally wounded by Horus (after he drank the chaos kool aid). The emperor is now in a semi-permanent life support torture chair unable to think normally as a result of his injuries. Also, compared to Davoth, the emperor is merely a few tens of thousands of years old while the dark lord has been there since the beginning of creation.
Even against chaos itself, the doom slayer would come out on top. I mean they were created as a side product of life in the universe and I'm pretty sure life can't exist for quite a while after the Big Bang, which puts Davoth in a completely different power and age class.
More so, the doom slayer fought demons for essentially eternity in hell with only his fists, killing more demons than there will ever be living things in the 40k universe, because hell in doom is literally infinite (I think so).

I think whatever is in doom hell is far far worse than what can exist in the warp (or at least as bad) and since Davoth managed to stay on top for virtually eternity, the fact the doom slayer killed him makes doomguy invinvible.
Big E for me is closer to the khan maykr than to Davoth. Both are the supreme ruler of their races, they can't really die, they had a birth and aren't as old as the universe and have a personnality and weeknesses. Their abilities are powerful, but they have limits. Doomguy killed the khan mayker while she had her orb that made her immortal and allowed her to come back to life, plus he's incorruptible (maybe he would be a blank?), so I think they have no chance against him.

On the side of the Astartes, they are faster (an unnamed Ultramarine Sergeant dodged a DEATHMARK'S SYNAPTIC DISINTEGRATOR [which is a laser, ergo lightspeed] AT POINT BLANK RANGE [albeit he ended up losing the encounter, but that's due to the Deathmark's teleportation and the fact that he ran out of ammo, not that he was physically incapable of winning] whereas Doomguy's never really outpaced anything close), and debatably just as durable (in Astartes, we see one of them just directly withstand Lascannon fire with nothing more than cosmetic damage, as well as some Marine surviving being impaled and having most of their body torn to shreds), and comparable in strength (Captain Titus pushing an Ork turret is definitely comparable to Doomguy pushing a singular train car).
But, Doomguy is not without his own share of advantages. He's definitely at least a little stronger, and his arsenal is what really seals the deal for his victory. Unless the Marine gets close or he runs out of ammo, he's not gonna be able to get close. That being said, if the Marine happens to have a grav gun he could just negate any advantage Doomguy has and just implode him. Also, Davoth is NOT some kind of multiverse-destroying monster. He was drastically weakened when he fought Doomslayer. Hence why he needed the fucking mech suit and didn't decide "catch these hands bitch".

In speed terms the slayer has inmesureable speed, outbesting the seraph and Khan Makyr, omnicient beings capable of teleporting between doom dimensions and universes while seeing all outcomes.
The slayer has tanked while sleeping naked a gun shot test made by the UAC that had the heat of 2 mega kelving.(2,000,000 kelvin) and the slayer recieved ni damage
Doom (2016) vega records that while fighting in hell the slayer mades inplode multiverses with his strenght.
The slayer recieves in the face the explosion of an argent reactor that had the temperature of 1,420,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000C, it teared part of reality and pushed the slayer to hell.
Doom eternal: the slayer carries and destroys 2 life spheres. A life sphere cointains a universe and divine escence, when destroyed a life sphere releases the energy of millions of exploding supernovas.
Destroying one of the Life spheres in theory killed the father so the slayer now should have his power.
Even if Davoth was slightly weaker because the father stole part of his power and sealed him eons ago he was going to destroy countless universes with his powers once he killed the slayer but things went wrong so..
Even the doom guy could beat an entire company of space marines just because he is a Primordial and can only be damaged by Hell magic (this is why only a group of arch-villes were the ones that damaged him in all doom lore)
So no bolter fire, nor melta could really kill him, he should be weaker than a well trained marine and had less stamina but he has the resistence.
I could consider a single arch-ville popping up in an imperial planet and becoming a planetary menace and in some milenia the end of the universe with how hell energy works

There is no question. You have objective power scalings of what his body can tolerate and the power he actually has within him.
The objective stuff; He survives being shot as a projectile through metal walls. He has biceps capable of pulling metal chains apart WITHOUT leverage (even weaker metals can carry several metric tons for years without weakening and he PULLED it apart like it was rubber meaning he is capable of so much more - this was the very first thing he did when we see him). He can tolerate power surging through his body in the levels of Gigawatts and it provides only a MINOR boost to his body. He can tank a barrage of missiles with little effect on his body.
Subjective stuff; He fights without rest. He has no need for sleep. He seems able to heal from any injury. He has seemingly no maximum level of output and it is all depending on his opponent. The armor seems like it's more for convenience than need. He is for all intents and purposes immortal, both biological and physically - if not either then at least metaphysically.
While Doom Slayer is not a walking nuke, he is a walking plague for anyone opposing him. Unstoppable and unyielding. He has to walk wherever he needs to be. He is not omnipotent nor omniscient, but he *IS* a literal God. He has the destructive power of whatever is in his hands, but given enough time his hands are all he needs. He's not able to teleport, move faster than the eye can see nor cast magic. He requires weapons to actually deal damage at a distance. However he can use the forces surrounding him to his advantage. A missile can't kill him, but the resulting force of one can send him flying... and that direction can just as easily be in the direction of his foe. Once he has his hands on you, you're dead. That goes for the likes of Kratos, that goes for the likes of Doom Slayer, that goes for the likes of anyone.
Part of the reason WHY I think this is the case is because I think he has earned this right as the daddy of all gaming. He's not the first protagonist, but he is the most important one. It is subjective, I know, but it is what I think he has earned. Millions play DOOM to this day.. and I mean the original games. The same cannot be said for any other game of that age, or even younger. The new iteration of DOOM is still using Doom Guy as the protagonist.. and he has earned this position as the most powerful protagonist regardless of universe he is placed in, regardless of his opponent.
And another half-subjective aspect is that he's supposedly truly indestructible as well, because even when he was magically incapacitated and put into a whole coma, and then stripped of his armor, hell *still* couldn't seem to even so much as truly scratch him, so they instead had to lock his coffin somewhere that they hoped nobody could ever find. I just genuinely can't fathom there being a way to take down someone who can casually sleep naked through all sorts of attacks.
A spacemarine can be killed by a singal alien bug, but can beat the Doomslayer.

Doomguy might be able to even beat a chaos god. Possibly depends on which one. I'd say he could probably beat Khorne. It might take ages, but he could do it.
honestly Big E would see what doom guy is and just lead him to the nearest warp portal and let him do his thing if for no other reason than to give the so called gods of chaos a new playmate.

i do agree with you on some aspects, but you mentioned testing the durability of the Praetor Suit by testing through ultinate methords even testing it out on most weapons from the universe the slayer belongs to, not weaponry in 40k "space marines have weponry that fires graviton particles. next is power scaling issue, im going to ask if doom guy went to the 40k universe would the Davoth shard still give him power or is it going to be the infinity stones scenario (where the infinity stone only work in the universe they come from). im going to say yes in this case since (the chaos gods would find away to neutralize the shard) godlike beings are killed off in the lore in Warhammer 40k (avatar of Kaine and the most recently the super powered demon Angron) they don't just stay dead due to how the Immaterium works
my conclusion its depends on the universe the fight is in doom slayer would win the fight in his own universe. the space marine would win in 40k universe due to Davoth shard power may not be a factor in this fight (chaos gods would find away to mess with its power) so thats one to one in my opinion. also bringing up the psyker thing that two is a universal thing that will only work in 40k universe since their powers comes from the Immaterium.
