Havertz timeline: Arsenal's first game of the season, Havertz starts at striker then at the start of the Premier League Zinchenko's injured so Partey plays right back and Havertz drops back into midfield. Then Partey gets injured keeping him in midfield with Arteta not trusting Jorginho, over the next few months his performances slowly improved in that position, scoring his first open play goal vs Brentford in the 87th minute to win the game 1-0. 4 months later Jesus is injured and Nketiah after his stinker in the 2-1 loss to Fulham isn't given an opportunity vs Liverpool in the FA cup, instead Havertz starts up front, for the first time since the Community Shield. Despite not scoring or assisting most admitted he was Arsenal's most dangerous player in that defeat. Jesus returns and Havertz is placed back in midfield vs Havertz where he wasn't impressive, dropped vs Nottingham Forest away for Smith Rowe. After an impressive performance Jesus injured his knee for the 3rd time in the season days before they play Liverpool at the Emirates. Havertz because of Jesus's injury was given another chance up front with Eddie Nketiah clearly out of Arteta's plans. Havertz orchestrates a 3-1 humiliation of Liverpool where despite not scoring he got Konate sent off caused Saka's goal and was bullying the backline all game. Not quite convincing enough for Arteta to start him up top in the 6-0 win vs West Ham, the 5-0 win vs Burnley or the 1-0 loss to Porto where he instead went for Trossard. After the 1-0 loss to Porto Arteta reverted to Havertz up top to play Newcastle at home, scoring and assisting in a 4-1 win, he did the same in the 6-0 thrashing vs Sheffield United and subsequently started every game till the end of the season and only didn't play striker twice, vs Wolves and Villa, Villa being Arsenal's only loss post the winter break. Havertz scored 10 goals and 6 assists after January in 18 games, only 13 of his 17 starts were at striker.
Arsenal fans get upset when people say they need a striker, but when they lost the league alot of them said " and we didn't even have a proper striker", which is bs because either you don't need a proper striker or not having one is a significant hurdle

Think it's worth mentioning that Havertz always had great movement, even in his first few months at Arsenal you could see him getting into good attacking positions but not being found as he hadn't gelled with the team yet. Now he's playing with confidence in that 9 position he still has that, combined with his other strengths being played to
Havertz is the perfect example for the eye test not being everything in a player. He's probably one of the best players off the ball with a world class game observation and great speed to make really annoying runs into the box to pull out the CBs and almost every modern possession coach loves a player like that on their lineup. His finishing is legitimately the only thing that he's not stellar at and he still puts in numbers equal to a Palmer (who yes is better at it since he playes in a worse team) from normal play. His abillity to make other's shine in the box is the perfect fit for a system that has someone like a Saka/Vini/Mbappe type of wing reliant offense, where the middle man is more part of build up as a false 9. As a Chelsea fan that watched him play every single game for 3 years, this guy was atrocious approximately 80% of the time. He would have 1 good game for every 4-5 bad games and I was more than happy to see him leave. Kudos to him for doing well, I still wouldn't have him back tho.
@xfanatick7972 our team was decent in the first 2 years(the year we won the CL and the year after). Especially whilst Tuchel was there, the team generally played well. Havertz was still inconsistent. One good game for every 4-5 bad games. Also how can you say our team was shite considering we won the champions league? That statement in itself is contradictory. The team was more or less the same the season we won the champions league and the season after. Your comment only applies to the last season when Graham Potter took over.
As an Arsenal fan ive been singing king Kais praises for over a year, and thouht he was a good signing from the getgo hes not an insane goalgetter but hes someone with an IMMENSE work rate, great mentality and he does score goals, often in important moments as well
I remember saying that if Arteta somehow gets Havertz to start performing, I will never doubt Arteta again. Especially when Havertz was playing in midfield and just looked shocking to watch. But now, he feels almost irreplaceable
I think everyone attacking those calling for a striker is missing the point. No one calling for a world class striker is saying Havertz is bad. The reason we want Leao or someone better is because that is the difference between finishing second or first. Get it? It's about winning the Champions League and the PL title. If you're happy with the seminfinals or top 4 then Havertz is all we need.
Leao isn’t better than Havertz and I would say Havertz is a top 5 arsenal player he’s brilliant leao also isn’t a striker and he is also the opposite of clinical
I think we often like to think that Arteta saw an 8 in him at the start or maybe a 9 after all or whatever, but I think Arsenal just saw a high quality player available on the market that gave the squad something that they didnt have yet, and would just find out how to make them most of them along the way. And thats what they did. Now in this system, he is a 9 after all.
I really liked him at Chelsea despite him being criticised but now him firing shots at Chelsea does piss me off NGL , but still hard to hate on him coz I support Germany in NT's !! So it's a proper complex Love-Hate Relationship for me with him !!
As an Arsenal fan, I really wanted a striker this summer I thought that would get us over the line But realistically theres no good options on the market Mbappe went to Madrid years ago realistically, Oshimen went to Turkiye etc. But after realising that we have prime King Kai all is well now I believed he would have a slow start but I knew he was quality, proved me wrong on the slow start and I'm glad
People always forget tht Arteta played Kai as 9 for his very first competitive arsenal debut with Jesus on the bench (2023 community shield against city)
King Kai still keeps getting hate because of his Chelsea performance... but it's crazy how Chelsea fans are giving him the stick despite winning a champions league for them...glad he left that shite club.

Im an arsenal fan. Kai havertz is doing well and im happy that hes beginning to justify his price tag. but people need to put things in their proper context. Kai was signed as a midfielder not a striker. If he wasnt then we wouldnt have persisted with him in midfield and we might have won the league with him playing up top. But big up kai hes doing his thing
He needs to become more ruthless in front of goal he wastes a lot of chances but has done well this season hopefully he will get better as its still a relatively new position for him hes deffo got potential to become a poacher should aim for at least 25 -30 goals if he wants to put the controversy to rest for good its achievable with the amount of chances we create

I can't lie I wasn't too happy about signing Havertz because I think we needed an 8 first....so him being signed as an LCM kind of pissed me off. From his first City game it was clear he was a False 9.

🤣😭😭
Still need a competition at the front. Nothing guarantee him gonna be fit for the whole season.
I find Saka and Havertz need a competition for their position.
Love your videos, from the excellent production to your captivating personality and great presentation.
As for Kai, I'm a Gooner and I love him. He's probably been our most consistent player so far this season. He was okay in midfield but his current role is perfect for him. So glad he's settled in, he seems like a lovely lad.
People forget he slayed Man City in a UCL final. Winning goal for Chelsea.
Pumping out the videos
7:24 "OUR 8/6 HYBRID" !??!!? Bruhh Tinashe Gooner confirmed.
I was roleplaying an Arsenal fan when recording. Felt awful.

@@FootballIconicYeah, sounds horrible, i dont know how Goldbridge does it week in week out, must be awful.
@@FootballIconic Caught u slipping. Thanks for the reply Idolo.
Havertz his like a younger Müller: kinda clumsy player, doesn't look your typical athlete but is strenght its his Intelligence, the way he reads the game and the movement
In this case, Kicker is the name of the magazine that gives out the award.
Great analysis my guy, you speak so eloquent.
Kicker is just the Magazine, that hands out the award and the trophy is literally a cannon.
I don't wanna jinx anything. But let's just say what if Havertz gets injured ? Then what?
7:11 Kai Havertz was signed by Chelsea for £75m not £62m
I believe it was reported as Initially 62, up to 71
I'm glad, that there's at least some top teams left, that don't just throw in the towel making players work, if they don't perform in the first year.
Thanks for the video - How many times has Havertz been everywhere? I joked saying future Bergkamp but honestly.... numbers included, he is getting there
Great analysis. I won't be surprised if Kai Havertz becomes the Premier League version of Thomas Müller.
Calling the "Torjägerkanone" "Kicker-Torjägerkanone" is like calling the ballon d'or "france fottball-ballon d'or". No one mentions the magazine which is awarding the trophy.
There's a saying "Do not fix what is not broken". Havertz performed well for us last season, and I knew he would again this season.
Havertz is the dirtiest player in the prem. He fits Dark Artsenal perfectly.
Such good vids bud, well crafted, always learn something and some craftily placed humour. Great work.
As a Chelsea fan that watched him play every single game for 3 years, this guy was atrocious approximately 80% of the time. He would have 1 good game for every 4-5 bad games and I was more than happy to see him leave. Kudos to him for doing well, I still wouldn't have him back tho.
Mate, your entire team was shite most of the time except for the cl year
@xfanatick7972 our team was decent in the first 2 years(the year we won the CL and the year after).
I love havertz but I would also love if we bought sesko as rotation or smth
This year I’ve learned to just enjoy the football. (I have no other choice as a United fan)
As an Arsenal fan ive been singing king Kais praises for over a year, and thouht he was a good signing from the getgo
hes not an insane goalgetter but hes someone with an IMMENSE work rate, great mentality and he does score goals, often in important moments as well
"K9" is insane lmao, great video bro!
The great Man City advantage in defending titles is not their strikers, but their lawyers.
I remember saying that if Arteta somehow gets Havertz to start performing, I will never doubt Arteta again. Especially when Havertz was playing in midfield and just looked shocking to watch. But now, he feels almost irreplaceable
I thought you were going to say "And there you Havertz ladies and gentlemen". Missed chance
Leao aint better than havertz though
Leao isn’t better than Havertz and I would say Havertz is a top 5 arsenal player he’s brilliant leao also isn’t a striker and he is also the opposite of clinical
I think we often like to think that Arteta saw an 8 in him at the start or maybe a 9 after all or whatever, but I think Arsenal just saw a high quality player available on the market that gave the squad something that they didnt have yet, and would just find out how to make them most of them along the way. And thats what they did. Now in this system, he is a 9 after all.
We do not need a striker imo. Haverts is HIM! The man can press, defend, make chaos and score.
The man legitimately does everything on the pitch.
Chelsea paid 83 million pounds for Kai Havertz.
“This Man is Dangerous” 😂. This rather long purple patch might be over soon (my Chelsea bias speaking)
Really nice video 😂😂. You've gotten a fan!
Man, this channel just gets better and better. 👊🏾
I really liked him at Chelsea despite him being criticised but now him firing shots at Chelsea does piss me off NGL , but still hard to hate on him coz I support Germany in NT's !! So it's a proper complex Love-Hate Relationship for me with him !!
As an Arsenal fan, I really wanted a striker this summer
I thought that would get us over the line
But realistically theres no good options on the market
Mbappe went to Madrid years ago realistically, Oshimen went to Turkiye etc.
But after realising that we have prime King Kai all is well now
I believed he would have a slow start but I knew he was quality, proved me wrong on the slow start and I'm glad
Excellent video well done 👍🏻
People always forget tht Arteta played Kai as 9 for his very first competitive arsenal debut with Jesus on the bench (2023 community shield against city)
Just FYI from a German: kicker is a sports magazine in Germany and is just giving out the "Torjägerkanone". It's somewhat of a sponsor of the trophy.
This aged well.
King Kai still keeps getting hate because of his Chelsea performance... but it's crazy how Chelsea fans are giving him the stick despite winning a champions league for them...glad he left that shite club.
5:42 did Reece dirty there blud
Kai Havertz is what i thought Mason Mount would be for us, but there are other factors that are in play against Mount
9:39 man roasted Cucurella 😩🤣🤣.......
Suggestion : can you make a video on chelsea?
I am happy he is doing well and it will finally translate to his NT perfomances
Great analysis bro
I loved this video. proper breakdown.
I love it "The K9" , his got that dawg in him😂😂😂😂
considering that we used to have the likes of Giroud, Aubameyang, Van Persie and the likes back in the day while winning Nothing. I gotta say I prefer this strikerless Arsenal ahead of wenger arsenal With strikers. But yeah, Havertz is our guy.
I like the mustache bro!!! It came in real nicee. Any tips???
Havertz is a teamplaying one man team.
He does everything on the pitch throughout the entire game.
Thank you finally some appreciation for King Kai
not a striker per se but need better forwards at the moment trosaard and havertz are our best attackers.
Not forgetting Saka.
@@56postoffice no I did not... don't get me wrong he is good but not as good as arsenal fans think. he can't be your main man if you want to win big..he can be a good sidekick to actual super star; we need that salah, Suarez hazard or augrero type player in the forward line even Sanchez would kill it in this team
Haaland scored 2 goals on Thursday for the Norwegian national team against Slovenia. The man is a freak.
Beat the old national scoring record holder Jørgen Juve at 33 goals. Haaland is now at 34.
How do we stop him?@@stipy5916
Yes and Norway have a golden generation. Look at their talented squad. I am sure we will see Haaland at the World Cup 2030 in the knockout stage
@@sehu1291 Hopefully man, I've been dreaming of seeing Norway at a World Cup my whole adult life.
This is actually more a happy accident than artetas plan all along. Personally I still do think we need a striker because our attack is actually light. We didnt even sign a back up now that eddie nketiah is gone. if he is injured or isnt playing well. Even on loan signings we should have broufht another winger/striker and attacking midfield.
He’s not a poacher at all and 25-30 in this arsenal team is very very ambitious 20 is a good season
@@daquaviousbingleton9763 if you want to be classed as a good striker 25 goals minimum ive had ian wright henry rvp at the club he needs to be aiming for them levels
@@mannyafcarsensl-rc6vv van persie played 10 seasons for us and only did that in his final two Ian Wright never scored 25 or over so are you just waffling or what around 20 is good enough name 3 striker in the prem who do that consistently
great analysis
Tuchel comparing kai to van persie and now he's about to break his record. CRAZY😮
I do not agree with your assumptions....Arsenal need a striker!!! Havertz is good but to win the big things you need a world class player up front..... someone who wins you those big matches
I mean… what if Havertz gets injured? Jesus isn’t a striker, Trossard isn’t a striker, Martinelli and Saka are wingers.
Yeah but everyone is talking like they need a proper number 9 when Havertz is absolute class. They definetly need a second choice striker though.
@@tomato3889 that’s my point. Every team needs a backup striker. It’s crucial to success
Jesus is definitely not a striker
