The single cannon blast from the castle to mark the new year was hilarious. The crowd's reaction of "Yay... aw" cracked me up
Nice video. But, what is the actual weather as far as temperature?
The torch procession, is something of his own. Next time, I would do the Botanics. I’m sure my daughters will love it,
Thx for the tip !
I am going to Edinburgh for the first time ever December 18th to 27th. I am so excited, this has been a trip of my dreams for many years (since I was a kid) and it's finally happening. Any suggestions and recommendations would be so appreciated.
The best thing about going home (abroad) for Xmas is coming back to a long list of videos I can watch now in bulk :D
Very useful video! Me and my sister are visiting Edinburgh for the first time from the US between Christmas and New Years and thanks to this video we got a good idea of stuff to see and what to expect.
Lovely time to visit! What are you looking forward to the most?
@@Kakibot Most excited for is probably just walking around old town taking it all in and probably a tour of the castle if they are running. Thanks to your videos we are also hoping to get to the light show at the botanic gardens and see the Christmas market if they are still running.
Lovely video as always, Kat! Staying hopeful for my fiance and my honeymoon trip December/Christmas 2022 to Edinburgh🎄
I'm sure there will be a way for you to follow your December trip plan! Hoping by then things will be a bit more back to normal, but I feel like at this point we are all used to masks and distancing anyway, so it probably wouldn't spoil your good time at all! .)
Hey! Love the video 💓 We are up this year for Hogmanay! Can’t wait! Do we have to book tickets to go on the street or is it accessible to anyone? X
Second kitty appearance! I understand about wanting to ditch the crowds and that January might be too quiet but I imagine in winter time it’s still pretty nice, despite the darkness.
Watching this on January 7th, not a cloud in the sky in Edinburgh. 😅 When does the rainy weather hit?
Well now that you wrote this comment, it’s probably coming tonight, THANK YOU FOR THAT 😂 that said I also want to specify that when I say “wet” weather I don’t actually mean “Europe style rainy”, just kinda bleak and windy with annoying drizzle - wouldn’t want to set your rain expectations too high haha .D
Super fun, thanks for the video and Happy New Year to you! :)
Thank you!! Happy New Year!
Beautiful light show.
Should’ve been down Portobello, it was fantastic. Such a great atmosphere and loads of fireworks, all on my doorstep 🥳🥰
That does sound great! Maybe next time! We used to live much closer to Portobello and now we really miss little trips to the seaside ;__; glad to hear you had a good time on NYE! .)
Happy new year Kat and Simon 🎉
Thank you Kiersten! :3
20 quid for the botanics light show sounds like a lot but I was quite moved by it. Money well spent
Hello beautiful 😍
