It’s actually been out for a while. I was just hesitant to pull the plug as I had no reference to see if its worth it. But I figured I should take the hit for the rest and upload a video. But no hit there. As its totally worth it!
literally doing this along with you on my 23 - RS660 this video is so helpful. just pu my shroud from post office this afternoon. hi5 and knuckle bump from Vancouver BC! def worth the money and time even when converted to our CDN $ Duckets .... Thanks again for making this video
Yea, I lowkey see the reason to cover that part of the bike, since this bike is not designed to have a high exhaust installed, as the stock one is situated under it pretty much. But man, this does the job pretty good, without that piece, it seems that something is missing. Well done👍
Yes, the RS660 was designed with a great stock exhaust design. And no aftermarket exhaust manufacturer has built an aesthetic design that matches the stock. For that reason this belly cover is a must to keep the aesthetics.
I’ve had the armaspeed exhaust cover on my wishlist for like six months, and I finally got my new exhaust so I’ve been looking hard at these… and I’m starting to like the gap better. Might just skip it and save the money
The gap doesn’t look that bad in person. You don’t notice it as much as you do on pictures or videos. It’s an aesthetic upgrade that is not for everyone.
I don’t think it would fit the CAT exhaust. The rear brake lever barely touched it, so I ended bending the lower fairing mount a little bit inside and it moved the belly fairing away from the brake lever. No issues.
The website is in a different language. I don’t even know what it’s saying. Did you just add it to cart and order normally and they understood the address and payment method?
It’s both in English and French when I open the website. But the answer is yes, if you place your order they will understand all the information and ship it to your address. Just make sure you select the color option you want. NOIR MAT YKV is black painted and what I installed on the video. GRIS MAT is grey and BRUT RAW is unpainted. ✌️
Thats a good idea but there is good distance between the plastic and the exhaust. I took it for a hard ride and the plastic was not affected by the heat. Ill keep an eye on it though.
This extender was initially fitted on the Akrapovic S-A6R3-APLC. If that is your exhaust then it will fit. I don’t know anyone that has the S-A6R4-HAPC to confirm it will fit with this too. If you have the HAPC and wan’t to make sure it fits, send them an email at agnes@s2-concept.com
@@nippz05 Yes. The build quality is great. Its aluminum so basically what you would expect from an aluminum part. I hated the plastic cover and I wanted to be able to inspect the front sprocket on the fly. It also has a shifter stabilizer, which I’m not sure it really helps but to be honest I haven’t had any false neutrals since I installed it. So maybe it does help. The only downside to it is its price at $180 😓
The stock belly fairing has a drain hole that rain water would exit from there. But the S2 concept fairing and the stock fairing don’t seal with each other, therefore water would drain from everywhere. I can’t corroborate that, as I never ride in the rain, but if water drainage ends up being an issue, one can always drill a hole under the belly.
@@ALFAVITAGA That’s true, Thank you for the reply, was contemplating between the sc project and motobox exhaust. This might tip my decision towards he sc project
@@rexile1986 The motobox is the perfect choice for keeping the stock design line while gaining a bit of performance and sound with a lower cost. But it will never sound as good as an SC Project or perform equally. With this belly fairing, I actually prefer the looks of an SC Project compared to the stock look. The RS660 is a little disproportional in the rear compared to the tank size and height. The SC Project compensates for that tail narrowness. But then again looks are subjective.
@@ALFAVITAGA That's the thing, I love the sound of the SC Project, but I love the looks of the stock exhaust, but now that I've seen the S2 concept belly spoiler, I might go for that, Thanks to your video I manage to come to this decision :)
In person, from certain angles it looks so empty that it resembles drag bikes that use extended swing arms. Its not the end of the world. Most of the times on most angles you don’t even pay attention to it. But if you are OCD like I am, then all you see is a gap and you can’t unsee it.

Looks great! It’s worth it because it keeps the lines of the bike, like you say without it it’s quite an ugly space!!
A lot of people say that they are not bothered by the gap. But for me this is a must aesthetic upgrade.
Thank you for the upload sir, I think it look absolutely perfrct on the bike

Nice! ✌️
What color did you choose for your bike? BRUT/RAW , NOIR MAT YKV OR GRIS MAT. Thank you for your video it helps a lot.
You’re welcome! I chose NOIR MAT
Any idea if this would also fit with the exhaust with the catalyst converter included? And does it touch anything like the rear brake or the shifter?
I don’t think it would fit the CAT exhaust. The rear brake lever barely touched it, so I ended bending the lower fairing mount a little bit inside and it moved the belly fairing away from the brake lever. No issues.
